The video card and processor are fine and I'd give it 4 stars for video AI applications (which is why I bought it). However BIG PROBLEM with the internet connectivity. I updated all drivers, etc, but the MediaTech MT 7921 WiFi module is flakey - has problems with connection, and frequently disconnects. This is widely reported online as well. It makes the laptop essentially useless for most real-world applications that require an internet connection. I had purchased as an open box, and followed lots of online suggestions without success, updated all drivers from HP site, etc. After all that, it was too late to return, so I ultimately bought a USB WiFi device, which works like a charm.

This product well exceeds our expectations. We are extremely happy with our purchase and would recommend to anyone.

This is my first gaming lap top so don't have much to compare it to. So far so good! Works well for running multiple heavy programs and once.

This laptop upon powering on displayed graphical glitches. Updated all drivers and BIOS. Was fine for a couple hours and then went completely haywire. The graphical glitches did not occur in the BIOS. Only the OS. Display drivers crashed multiple times resulting in black screen. Booted in safe mode, tried uninstalling graphic drivers and also disabling. It only helped momentarily. Tried 3 drivers for both the integrated Intel graphics AND the GTX GPU. Nothing helped. Factory reset twice, woke up this morning and it was on the set up screen just going bananas. Avoid this and get a ROG or Omen.

Ok. My previous game laptop died. This machine was online,open-box,and ready to pick-up locally. An interim pc. But the Victus suffered from a 'washed-out' display problem. Found myself troubleshooting this online, display drivers,etc. :/ Not really Best Buy's fault,turns out. Victus would be ok,but for the color problem due to Win 11,etc.,just a bit dusty. I'm returning it. Do your research,folks.

this laptop is amazing. ive been struggling to find an affordable gaming laptop that can handle both gaming and everyday tasks, and this one is a perfect fit. it came with 512gb storage and 16gb storage ram, which i think are good specs of this laptop. playing games like overwatch 2 and valorant on this laptop gave me really good experiences. not to mention, the quality looks amazing. if youre struggling to find a gaming laptop, i highly recommend this one. I bought it for $849.99, taking advantage of a $250 discount during a sale. overall, i personally think this laptop is exceptional. I havent encountered any issues since I bought it, and im looking forward to it to continue performing flawlessly in the future.

Excellent performance and well rounded on majority of any games. Battery life is very short not even an hour to play anything. The fan is loud af but I don’t really pay attention to it with headset on. Upgradable RAM and Memory optional.

However, I must address the one major drawback - the battery life. During the purchasing process, I was aware of the estimated battery life, which was approximately 4 hours. Given my usage requirements, this duration seemed acceptable. Fortunately, the battery life hasn't posed much of an issue for me personally. Nonetheless, if battery life is a significant concern for you, it's important to approach this laptop with caution. All things considered, this has been an impressive purchase that I am genuinely satisfied with. I wholeheartedly recommend this laptop to others and would gladly purchase it again in the future.
