Unreliable laptop

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop Feb. 2023 and use it rarely (only for internet surfing 1x a week) as I have a computer at work anyway. It worked okay in tbe beginning with no issue at all but one day, it just wouldn’t open and the 1 year warranty is already expired. I went to have it checked in best buy and the techs were nice to diagnose it for free. They said there’s no water damage, not battery/charger related. I was willing to pay the $85 diagnostics fee for them to further investigate since they couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with it. Techs said that it may be a motherboard issue but they recommended for me to take it to a 3rd party instead.

HP Victus is a machine at a good price.
