Absolutely horrible battery life. The worst I’ve seen in a laptop. I’ve had it almost a year and when I plugged in the charger into the port, the middle part stayed inside the laptop port and is stuck. Will not charge, will not turn on. Now I will have to take it to Geek Squad. In the meantime I bought another laptop. Less money and is quicker and great battery life.

I'm totally satisfied EXCEPT don't understand why manufacturers put 512 gig and smaller drives in ANY computer. I am a little disappointed that it doesn't have a second port for another drive. I updated to 32 gig of DDR4 and it impresses me. Time will tell on how durable it is.

This laptop is pretty great so far. It was near the same price point of some non-gaming, less powerful laptops at the store, so getting this was a no-brainer. It runs well and has not had any issues.

Mainley for video editing and games, so far so good

The battery lasts maybe 2 to 3 hours doing nothing but web browsing. Other than that, it’s okay. Haven’t used it for gaming yet, but no doubt I won’t be able to do so without keeping it plugged in. Might as well have purchased a desktop. The display resolution is what you would expect from a laptop purchased for half of this price. Likewise, I’ve read how fast this laptop is on other reviews, it it’s slower than my 6-year old Spectre x360. I’ve had it for 2 days and it will likely be returned.

It worked great... for almost 2 years. About a year and 9 months in, suddenly I started getting a warning message during boot up that the hard drive was starting to fail. But of course, the warranty expired after 1 year. So I had to replace it at my own expense. I ordered a new hard drive and installed it. Everything seemed to be working fine at first. I installed a fresh copy of Windows and re-installed all my software, trying to get it setup like before. During a routine Windows update, the computer needed to reboot. And during that reboot, it simply died. No errors. No lights. No sounds. Completely dead. Would not start at all. It had a fresh hard drive that *was* working at first... but now that the entire system failed, I have to believe the real issue wasn't the hard drive, but something with the motherboard. I've troubleshooted everything possible. I'm so frustrated and disappointed that this mid-range laptop has become a dead brick in less than 2 years! Replacing the motherboard is almost $600, plus the cost repair labor at GeekSquad or elsewhere. At that point, I might as well just spend a little more and get a whole new laptop. Prior to the hardware failures, this was a great laptop. But you expect a mid-range laptop from HP to last more than 2 years...

This Laptop is great, working well with gaming. It also looks cool.

Decent build. Liked the specs except for the 250 NITs. I really wanted 1TB but thought with the great price ($850) I could use an external drive. But, the display wasn't bright enough during daylight in my house. I returned it within a week.

This was a Christmas gift for my Grandson, he is very happy with it.

I would get this again or family or friends to look at it

Bought this laptop as a gift for my son and it has worked out great. He is able to play Fortnite, MineCraft and other games without any performance issues.

Incredible computer. The full keyboard is really great as well.
