For my tastes, the HP Victus laptop is a powerful machine designed specifically for games and intensive tasks. The i5 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 deliver solid performance for demanding games and multitasking. Its 8 GB of RAM provides decent capacity to run applications without problems, although it could fall short for heavier loads. The 256GB SSD storage offers fast read and write speeds, although it could be limited if you plan to store large amounts of data. In addition, its 16.1-inch screen offers an immersive experience to enjoy games and multimedia content. The Performance Blue design gives it a distinctive and attractive touch. Good PC, decently fast gpu. Was on sale with open box for 570. For 900$ go buy something more powerful with a higher refresh screen. The screen is 60hz but has a good viewing angle and picture quality. Easy to upgrade ram and add an additional ssd. Overall good entry/light gaming laptop.

I took advantage of the price drop on this particular model from HP and I am glad that I did. I was looking for a computer that was able to handle new software upgrades and basic gaming abilities. I am impressed with how fast this computer turns on and how fast it responds to my commands. My requirements for a computer aren't much; but I am glad HP continues to make top-notch and top-flight computers. It doesn't have lag and neither does the page crash or freeze when I am browsing and scrolling through different webpages. The ability to play games is spectacular and meets my requirements. I don't do heavy gaming, but a number of gaming sites have minimum requirements needed to play their games and this computer surpasses what I need and require. Well done HP. You did an excellent job on this computer. :D

This is a great mid-priced gaming laptop! I have been using my desktop from about 8 years ago and I finally gave in and upgraded. I wanted to prortability of a laptop but wanted something powerful enough to play some current games. This thing is fast and runs mostly every current game with a good frame rate that I have tried. I did add some memory and an external hard drive, as the included ssd fills up fast. I also got a laptop fan to combat the heat generated when gaming. The only game that does not run, due to the limited GPU memory, is Warzone. I starts up fine but crashes when entering a match. It works with a lower resolution, but who wants to play like that? If you don't want to (or cannot) spend $1600 on a gaming laptop, you won't be disappointed with this rig.

Great for both work and gaming. Doesnt like old games but can cope with the most graphics demanding activities!!

good laptop gets job done and good for entry level gaming

It's so good, you can't beat the price. I got mine for 650 and wow, the speakers are eh but that isn't really to bad as I only use headphones anyways, just thought I would include that for the few that care. The screen is very beautiful, a little dim but it's not like many people are doing work outside so it's perfect for indoor use. It's really powerful too, I don't have a issue running any games near or at max settings, mostly because the screen refresh rate is 60hz which easy to get most games to play at. Overall I highly recommend it!

Touch screen is very responsive. Foods with very little effort. Picture and video quality is good. Sound isn’t the best but not the worst.

Had this for 3 years now still running like I just got it yesterday

Battery life is around 3-4 hours, great for gaming, does not run max settings on games like for or cod but you can get 60fps with tweaks, but overall great, I got it at a big discount a few years ago so I’m content

I bought this for work and it's great! It's got plenty of power to run with tons of windows and apps open at once. I decided to buy my own laptop instead of getting a company-issued laptop. I was tired of getting crappy "business" laptops that are often underpowered for someone like me, with ADD who likes to have everything open at once. There is an extra RAM slot and an extra NVME slot. So, I added more ram and a 1T NVME drive, just because. Beware, the battery life sucks, and it is heavy. This is not an issue for me.

This computer is a solid one! It does tend to get a little warm with extended use, but it’s nothing a fan can’t fix.

I purchased this for my 9 yr. old. He wanted a gaming computer, so after looking into specs and reviews, I figured this would be a good pick. He isn't into all these new high end games, so things like Minecraft have run flawlessly. For the price point, I would have liked to have would be a touch screen, but overall, he needs to be able to navigate without it. At some point, I could definitely see the need for a larger hard drive, too. To date, it has remained plugged in, so I can't comment on this.

I really love, love, love this computer!! I am not a gamer but wanted a fast computer and great graphics and this machine delivers just that! I really wanted an I7 but did not want to shell out the money for it. The only thing I need to get use to is I some how manage to change the screen magnification without realizing that but that is probably Windows 11 issue. The speed is great!

Picked up at a great deal just before Christmas. Nice laptop, boots up quick. Haven't had time to play too many games yet, like that it has Windows 11 already too. planning to upgrade memory to 16gb and storage to 1tb when I find a good deal on memory and drives for it.

More than a year using it for everything and still works like new

Bought this in 2021 as a work/light gaming computer. Its been holding up quite well. Of course when purchasing a budget product there are some cons. Pros - Big screen Large trackpad Nice Keyboard Easily upgradable for Ram + Storage (Extra m.2 slot) Cons- Wobbly screen (anything can cause the screen to shake) Does not come with 16gb ram 256GB ssd is quite small, you might need to purchase another ssd Powerbutton close to "Delete" & "Back space" you can easily hit that while gaming/working Screen has a big chin
