I bought this product with the understanding that it would perfit fit for the space I required for my home. Its moderate space it requires was absolutely perfect for my studies and the screen was nice enough for all day work. I recommend this product.

Base is a bit large, but overall great monitor with great high frame rate

I bought this for my son and he loves it. The only thing lacking is no built in speakers. This was just an oversight on my part not a negative criticism. The monitor itself is a great purchase. It was exactly what he needed for gaming.

I would definitely recommend this monitor, if anyone is looking for a 144hz monitor with 1ms response time and for good price range. It can tilt 90 degrees too. Good features if u are looking to get a monitor that tilts and gaming. Pros: Good color Saturation. FreeSync works fine. Sturdy Build. Cons: No G Sync. Display feels a bit shabby.

You will only make justice to this monitor capacity if you use it for gaming and you need a fast response time. After trying and playing for a few days, this monitor is definitively the most important piece of my sons’ gaming set. We already had a monitor for our game laptop and we didn’t realize until now the big difference that a specialized monitor could do when you are playing games (war and racing) that require a fast response (HP talks here about 1-millisecond). To be clear, we are talking about how fast your images’ pixels respond to the scenery change and that could make a huge difference in a fast-paced game. Just by putting both monitors (the old and this one) one near the other and mirroring the game, you can notice the difference. It’s also noticeable that the impressive 144 Hz refresh rate is a high value in gaming sets. To put in perspective some regular TVs are only delivering between 60 and 100 MZ. Sharp and brilliant colors are the additional complement. The monitor stand is awesome, and probably the best across all the 4 monitors at home (including a couple of working screens in my office). The capacity to raise or lower the monitor with no effort at all and to adapt to your user height, plus the fact that could easily rotate up to a 90 degrees position makes this a great option for big gaming sets but also to no very tall gamers. If you prefer, the stand may be removed and mounted in the arm-style VESA mounts. With three ports: two for video HDMI and DisplayPort, the monitor also includes a headphone jack that could serve to directly connect your headphones to the monitor if the distance with laptop is too big or you need your wires far from your fast moving hands. The last element that I definitive love is the capacity to adapt the display to levels of brightness that are not too bad for your eyes and the fact that you could do it directly in the monitor and not only in the laptop setup. Think that accessing to the controls is an add value to adapt your display conditions while playing your game. HP is also a guarantee in this technology and has a great support. Until now, I couldn't find any single negative element to report so this is a five starts.

Purchased 3 months ago and the monitors are great. Easy install, nice color and does not take up to much space. They can even be mounted as i have them. Purchased two and about to purchase the third.

I bought an open box and it was a little smudged but not noticeable when it's on. The stand is super ugly but that doesn't matter because I bought it to be mounted. Saved enough money so I could purchase the extended warranty. Nice clear picture. Am going to switch it so it will be my main monitor.

Son loves he’s new monitor to play his games on! Says it makes a huge difference and is way better than playing on a big screen TV. Awesome picture and no lag in screen play time. Would def recommend and purchase again.

I really like this monitor it suits my needs. The picture is great. Only downside is it sometimes does detect the hdmi input but that may just be my cable or laptop but other than that I am happy with my purchase.

I got this for my son and will not be able to rate it until after X-Mas hopefully he will like it and we don’t have to return it

Had this for roughly a year now and the monitor hasn't shown many problems at all. Just wish I could figure out how to turn on the crosshair but other than that this is an excellent monitor.

For any of my Next-Generation console gamers that are looking for a good monitor to play on that smooth 120hz, this is most likely the one that you're looking for. I have pretty much no complaints other than the colors looking a bit bland at first, but messing with the contrast settings helped a bit. Good monitor for a great price

Bought this monitor to upgrade my setup from a single-monitor setup to a dual-monitor setup, and I’m loving it! Monitor works well and the settings are very easy to adjust if needed.

I was looking for a high end 1080p monitor that can attach to a VESA mount that operates at a high refresh and this one had all those features in a quality package at under $200.00. That can’t be beat.

I'm a court reporter working part-time from home. I have all HP monitors. I consider this a higher end than my other two monitors and it's beautiful. I love that I can rotate to portrait mode.
