Great monitor and for $149, of course, there was a catch. First of all, those reviews saying that the settings of the monitor won't save, are unfortunately 100% TRUE. now let me explain in detail - Some of the monitor settings will not save when using DISPLAYPORT. I noticed this because I first used HDMI and no such problem. But if you use HDMI, you can only get 120hz in this monitor and it will also not support gsync but if you are buying this for a console then it is irrelevant. Of course, I wanted to try 144 and gsync since I'm using this for pc. Hooked DisplayPort, changed the color mode to gaming, enabled fastest response time. After a while, it just randomly reset to default color mode and lowest response time, etc, or it changed after turning the monitor off and on. Only some settings reset for some reason. This seems to be a problem this monitor has with windows 10 or the Nvidia control panel. Solution - For me, first I unplugged the monitor from the wall for a bit, then turned it back on, disabled DDC on the monitor menu, wait a bit and exit menu. After that, change response time to fastest and exit. Turn monitor off and back on, check whether or not the response time saved.

This is a great monitor that was on sale for a good price. It is an amazing difference from 60 refresh.

Very happy with the resolution, refresh rate and all things visual. The only minor issues are that the power plug into the monitor needs to be tightly seated. It doesn't take much for a power disconnect - so it's pretty sensitive. Also, initially, the computer considered the monitor to be a sound output source but this was easily fixed by changing the default sound output so it's not the monitor.

Out of all the many monitors I've tested and played on. I can safely say I like the OMENS for the clear, fast, upscaled quality that they offer. You can't go wrong with it. 1)If you are a pc gamer go for a 165hz or higher because most games hit between 180 to 200 frames. 2)If you are a console gamer you will be fine with 120 or 144hz odds are the pro consoles will probably support 144 in the future.

Despite trying different HDMI cables and settings, I cannot set the display to native 1080p @ 144Hz (currently running at 120Hz although the suggested optimal is 60Hz by manufacturer) On the other hand, I love the adjustable stand which can lift the bottom screen up to 7" Color is bright and vivid, include 8 preset modes 2 inputs available : HDMI & Display Port Overall this monitor is very affordable and reliable
