No impact, low noise, excellent interactive videos, and great results. The videos (monthly subscription) teach you good form, proper use, etc. No regrets and 3 lbs lighter in the first week of owership! :-)

Very happy I bought this. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but such a good investment in oneself. Especially if going to the gym is not in the cards. The rows are fun and the time passes pretty quickly. Also, getting Hydrow swag upon completing certain milestones is a nice bonus.

Proving to be a great overall work-out as well as rehabilitation for severe leg injury particularly during these lousy weather winter months! Recommend purchasing the year worth of rowing with Hydrow athletes. Valuable rowing technique training in addition to ability to mirror the athlete who is rowing during your selected rowing session.

The Hydrow is fantastic. The community is great, the athletes are great, support is great. If you are not going to buy the monthly membership, you should buy something else. The live on water rowing is what makes this so good. If you're deciding between Hydrow shipping or BB shipping, there is no real difference other than the much shorter wait for BB. Return time is comparable by a couple of weeks, warranty is the same and the BB delivery was great. They brought into the house for me.
If you are on the fence and are not worried budget wise, just do it...it is the best piece of workout equipment I have ever used. It is a full body workout, cardio workout, and they have a great variety of rows and on the mat workouts.

Before Corona Virus I was rowing 3 days a week at my gym with a concept 2. Unfortunately, they are not shipping out machines so I scoured the internet researching and decided on the Hydrow.
I read reviews online and noticed every bad review was nothing to do with quality but their membership fees. There was no way to opt out of paying their monthly membership fee. Then Hydrow added a free “just row mode”...... With that being the only downside I bought in-
Yesterday it arrived. I feel the unit is commercial quality and constructed well. Very smooth operation and I signed up for the $35 monthly membership fee. THEN I LOST MY HOME INTERNET CONNECTION temporarily.... After speaking to tech support I learned IF you lose internet at your home YOU CANNOT ROW......even in the free “just row mode”....
So for $2200.00 of the company goes out of business In stick with a boat anchor from what I gather.... There doesn’t seem to be anything in writing stating otherwise and with nothing written and no reassurance from the company I can only assume. They would be useless IF Hydrow went out of business....
When compared to the Concept 2 it is smoother and quieter. I find the workouts to be relatively the same if you took the instructor videos out. There are some subtle differences.
Hydrow is smoother and quieter than Concept 2. The onscreen instruction and classes are phenomenal! Live people have answered my phone calls for help every-time during normal business hours while society deals with the Coronavirus pandemic (I could only raise Concept 2 via email).
I have mixed thoughts but I am heavily considering the return of this. Not because I don’t love the rower but because the company wants control of every aspect of this Rower. There is no way to use it offline and no assurance written from the company if they went out of business. For a company as new as this they are asking for a lot of trust for someone I don’t know.
I will probably return to my concept 2 unless Hydrow gets me something in writing with guarantees if they went out of business and allows use without connection to the internet.
While the Concept 2 might not be on the water. My rower would still work with the power out and if the company went out of business. Just how long has Concept been in business? Since before I was born.... I trust they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon....

Overall very pleased with the product. Video has frozen a couple times during workout requiring factory reset. CS has been good both times.
Not the usual level of service from BB on this purchase. On day of purchase the website listed special offer for Hydrow accessories but the link to the special offer was not functioning.
Shortly after the purchase both Hydrow and BB included a special offer of a wireless ear buds with purchase. I called BB regarding price match. I was informed add-ons are not part of price match but could return this purchase and buy again to receive special offer?
The delivery by BB was timely and communication of arrival rime was very good.

A rowing machine with a monitor attached

Overall, it's nicely built. The layout on the screen is nice. And It doesn't feel like a huge video game. They do have videos without the instructors. It sucks they don't support the Apple Watch. It runs on Andriod. Options are limited as far as adding your own content, such as videos, or music. So you must subscribe to get anything on the screen to work, make adjustments, etc. They also want you to leave it up 24/7, so if data is limited, it might be an issue. You can stand it up if you need room, but you'll need to anchor it. And the monitor doesn't quite pack in a way to avoid damage. It's a nice machine, but if you have the time to wait, pick, and choose, you might want to consider other cheaper options.

I am thrilled with my new Hydrow. I love the fact that the workouts exercise 86% of your muscles. The drills are very manageable, lasting only about 20 minutes. Who can't invest 20 mins/day toward wellness and fitness. The coaches are very motivating. The drills are over before I know it. It's pricey, but worth it!

My husband and I absolutely enjoy our Hydrow rower. We both have very busy lifestyles with work and kids, this allows us to take care of ourselves when it works for us. We are not a month in yet and find ourselves wanting to row, even after a long day at work.

Great rowing machine. The workouts the subscription get you are fun and enjoyable. It has fun little badges to earn, live virtual workouts, and a nice way to keep track of progress. I also love how it uses magnets instead of a fan so that it works well with cats in the house.

As someone who has never worked out regularly, and only recently started, I can't say how much I love this machine. Everything about the experience is fantastic. The intro lessons help you get your form right and from there, it becomes quickly addictive!

Absolutely love my Hydrow! I was skeptical about making such a large purchase, but I'm so glad I did. I use it at least 3-5 times a week and my husband uses it as well. Great for beginners. We did purchase the monthly subscription for access to all the guided workouts and find were definitely getting our moneys worth.

This is far and above the best built rowing machine out there. Very little assembly required. I was hesitant on purchasing a Hydrow due to the hefty price tag and monthly subscription cost but the instructors are so motivating and it's one of the best full body workouts I've experienced.

Absolutely love this machine. The interface is very easy to use and they will teach you how to row correctly. Significantly higher per minute calorie burn then Peloton (plus full body workout). Equally assessable to the beginner or long term rower. Fun workout that will get you incredible results.

I absolutely LOVE my Hydrow!
I wake up each morning eager to work out. This machine works out the entire body (both muscle training and cardio in one session).
My son and I canceled our gym memberships and are using the Hydrow. Excellent device!
