Monitor froze in one week.

According to help support after lengthy troubleshooting, it must be returned for an exchange. After an hour on the phone, they are now coming to pick it up in three days and hopefully the replacement will arrive soon after but they cannot give me an exact date for the replacement at this time.

Poor quality and lacks engagement

Has a lot of poor quality issues. When first started using, made loud humming noise that went away after a few weeks. The machine is not engaging or motivating.

Posted .The $38/month Membership fee, is a critical part of Hydrow's connected-fitness experience and we don't recommend that customer's purchase the rower without it. Machine did not recognize the membership and froze

It is connected to the internet, but somehow the machine did not recognize that I had already purchased the membership, even though I had entered the code to activate it.

It will not work without the subscription and I don't want to be paying additional fees. Might as well go to a gym!

Posted .The Hydrow membership is strongly recommended because it gives access to our premium workout content as well as all connected fitness features that make this rower unique. If none of those features was of interest then we agree that Hydrow may not have been the right product for you. However, we do want to note Hydrow will absolutely still work without that subscription. Noise free and smooth like you're on the water

I like this product for many reasons but the key features that stood to me was how smooth, comfortable and noise free it was when performing the rowing exercises. It comes with a 22''hd screen that is ample for touring international waterways like the Charles River and the subscription offers a variety of ways to row. With the equipment and the subscription, you don't just get the noise free rower, you get the experience. It looks good, too. I highly recommend.
