A full body workout that’s easy on your joints?! Yes, please! After an easy set up we were able to use the Hydrow the same day it was delivered. The options for rows are endless and enjoyable. Our whole family has begun to use it and we recommend it to anyone looking to add some cardio into their life!

Short version: get it - it’s well worth it. Long version: I’ve had it for a month, and I’ve been on it every single day. Workout: FULL body workout, and it’s very engaging. You also dictate how strong the resistance is by how hard you push off - so kids and adults can use this without changing anything really - plus you can have multiple user slots. Interface/online workouts: I admit, I was initially very wary of working out with videos - I didn’t think they would be effective. I was wrong. The videos are done extremely well and there are a good variety of personalities you can connect with. They also have a wide range of different types of workouts in the library that are tailored to any workout goal you have in mind. I also love the online community - everyone is soooo positive and helpful. The races are extremely competitive and there is a feature that shows what place you are in for any workout - definitely brings out that competitive mindset many of us have. Personally: quarantine sucks. I haven’t worked out as much during this time, but this machine has given me that passion again and has revitalized me. Price: yea it’s expensive. But you get what you pay for. I also got the warranty from BB because they are awesome with their warranties.

I hesitated for a while because of the price and then there was a $200 discount and I went for it. After all my research I'm so glad I did. I have been consistent with workouts since it was delivered and installed. Love the workouts, the instructors are really awesome. I made a decision to leave it in my living room by my window where it is in my view everyday. I noticed my endurance and strength building after 2-3 weeks and now noticing more tone in my legs, shoulders and arms...and my abs are coming back. Woohoo! if you're on the fence, like I was, go for it.

I absolutely love this rower. It is very quiet, well built and has great functionality. The interactive classes really motivate me to workout everyday and once I learned the form the workout intensities increased. It's a great workout! I would highly recommend rowing to anyone looking for a new workout option and this machine makes it that much better.

I can't get enough of my Hydrow. The quality is excellent. Commercial grade and smooth as silk. Much to my surprise, the workouts are very engaging thanks to the athletes and producers. The Hydrow FB community is a bonus. I've rowed everyday (twice on weekends) since picking this up VERY easy to assemble. Wish I would have bought one sooner.

7 days active, this thing just keeps me and my wife motivated. The athletes/coaches knows how to push and encourage good form. I'm improving everyday. the $38 monthly is what turn people off, but it's about the same as peloton. I don't understand the negative reviews when they don't even own it. Gives it one star when they find out the fee. Anyways, the rower still has tons of potential, I believe there are more feature coming. This is more beta and it's already an amazing machine. Get one, and experience for yourself. If the $38 is too much, then get a concept 2. Was gonna give it 4 star but the black friday sale pushed it to 5 and a great buy at $1199.

The Hydrow Rower is awesome. Easy to install and even easier to use. I enjoy all the different workouts from length of time to difficulty and location of the instructors (who are magnificent). It's fun to compete with the other rowers and be encouraged by all the comments.

I had never used a rowing machine in my life before purchasing the Hydrow. I was looking for a treadmill/stationary bike/rowing machine to exercise while stuck at home and opted for the Hydrow due to the (almost) full body workout! It was super easy to put together following the video and it recommends a guided workout every day that will kick your butt! Great buy.

I chose this model mostly because I was buying during the early summer of 2020 during covid and there wasn't much available because everyone was trying to find ways to stay fit at home. It was quite a bit more than I wanted to pay plus you need to pay a monthly subscription to keep it going. That being said, I am now 6 weeks in and I am enjoying it quite a lot. The machine was easy to assemble, quiet compared to other rowers and is solidly constructed. The workout content is good and helps keep you motivated. The downsides are the monthly fee and the fact that the screen doesn't rotate more. There are a lot of "mat" workouts included but I find them difficult to perform because the screen only rotates a few degrees.

The Hydrow is fantastic. The community is great, the athletes are great, support is great. If you are not going to buy the monthly membership, you should buy something else. The live on water rowing is what makes this so good. If you're deciding between Hydrow shipping or BB shipping, there is no real difference other than the much shorter wait for BB. Return time is comparable by a couple of weeks, warranty is the same and the BB delivery was great. They brought into the house for me. If you are on the fence and are not worried budget wise, just do it...it is the best piece of workout equipment I have ever used. It is a full body workout, cardio workout, and they have a great variety of rows and on the mat workouts.

I just got this today, so excited and set it up. The rower is really not functional unless you have a membership which is $38 plus tax. Jeez! It is Smooth without the program but there is no way to adjust anything without the membership. That is almost $500 a year!

If you’re familiar with Peloton, this is the same idea for rowing. This is a high quality machine with a large screen. The classes are live or on demand, only with Hydrow they’re actually out on a river instead of in a studio. All the music is licensed as well.

I received my machine in less than a week compared to direct with Hydrow at 6-8 week backlog if not more. Have been on it every day since I received Dec 4th and LOVE it. I had Best Buy setup since it’s very heavy and I placed it on the 2nd floor. Seemless setup - they removed all packaging and I was up and rowing right away! Well worth the setup fee which isn’t an option going direct. Quick, efficient and great experience. Highly recommend purchasing this product and going through Best Buy who often has additional promotions included which is much more cost effective. Being on many Hydrow forums/Facebook pages, you will see the same! I have already seen results in less than 5 weeks.

I researched a lot of rowers before buying the Hydrow. The Hydrow looks great, is quiet, and the classes are excellent. There is something for everyone here, but even the less strenuous workouts can easily become more challenging by reducing your split time.

The Peloton of Rowers! Great classes! Fun from Beginner to Expert! Easy setup with a sleek profile and easy to use. Best Buy delivered it to my door and it took my son and me about 10 minutes to install. I exercise on it every day. I love the workouts.

The intructors are the key to the machine. They’re energetic and push you to continue til the end. Grest workout machine, and the magnet system makes everything quiet in comparison with water or air fan rowers.

Fun workout for all fitness levels. Connects easily to home Wifi. Large screen. Various workouts with instruction on proper form for those new to rowing. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced workouts. Some workouts focus on cardio, some focus on power, others are HIIT style. Rowing motion is smooth and comfortable. Rowing mechanism is quiet. Can workout in the mornings with AirPods while others in the house are sleeping.

Love our Hydrow. Has put the fun back into rowing, This machine is very quiet compared to my old Concept 2. The interactivity so far has the whole family rowing and I can track what my kids are doing for physical activity on the history screen. Very easy to use and set up too.

I am addicted! The live classes are amazing and a great escape. The rowing goes quickly thanks to the program. The machine itself is smooth and amazing. Great design and better than I expected. I love it. Worth every cent.

I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to throw in my 2 cents. This is a high quality piece of equipment that has nothing but upside from a developmental standpoint. It’s clear that the programs and software are not quite as polished as they could be but the potential is phenomenal. Very much the look and flavor of peloton with a growing community of devout rowing “believers”. The excitement is infectious and the results from workouts clearly speak for themselves. Candidly, it’s surprising to see so many negative reviews regarding the required monthly subscription costs. This fact is very much front and center when briefly reading through the Hydrow website and subsequent info. For a relatively significant purchase wrt exercise equipment, a little bit of reading would have quickly brought the monthly subscription to light prior to purchase. At any rate, I’ve become a rowing believer thanks to this community and couldn’t be more thrilled with the look, function and ease of use with the rower itself. Highly recommend!
