I bough this so that I could have a couple USB slots on my MacBook Pro and it does absolutely everything I would expect it to do. The only comment I will make regarding disappointment is that the connection feels very “unsure” and flimsy. I almost worry about it breaking off if I pick up the machine to move it around the desk. Overall great product...perhaps I am just being overly cautious.

the only thing is that if your device is two usb type c I would recommend of two connections, with respect to the headphones and the microphone It has a bit of sudden conflict can stop working, it is a good option for new computers with USB Type C

Must have for the new Macbook, works like a charm.

The USB-C is too long, therefore when I plug to my Mac Book, it covers 0ne port of the side of MacBook that has only 2 ports.

I use this on my MacBook Pro and it doesn't sit flush to the table top, easily falls out and loses connection if bumped. The SD card reader doesn't work well, and again loses connection to the HDMI for my monitor and my hard drive that is connected when I remove the SD card. I'm going to return it and get one that has a cable to sit on my desk flat and I don't have to worry that it will fall out of the small input in my MAC every time I change out my SD card.

I love this little gadget!! It was the answer to my new MacBook Pro not having any outlets!! I don’t know how it compares in price to anywhere else, but it was the answer to my problem!!

Sleek, with good options. Only connects with one port because of the design. It is only secure in one port because part of it rubs against a different port on the computer. So one of the plus is unusable.Dissappointed.

I don't use it a whole lot but it works well with my mouse and is a well crafted piece of tech

I had to return it since it didn't work with my laptop (the way it had to install meant it covered other useful ports). But it worked as advertised otherwise.

In order to secure the device to a 13" 2018 MacBook Pro without 'wobble', it must be attached on the right side of the computer and, when done, 50% of the device extends beyond the rear of the computer body. Still functional but poorly designed because it does not align with the contour of the computer when anchored securely.

Best solution to extend image to additonal monitor, charge laptop and bluetooth up to two devices...great buy

I’ve been looking for a USB C hub to turn my laptop into a desktop connected to my TCL 32” TV. This is compact and works good. 4 stars because the placement of the USB C connector to the laptop, is at the far end of the device, making it unstable and easily disconnects if you bump or slightly move your laptop.

Bought this for a Yoga 920 because I needed an HDMI adapter and additional USB ports. The audio jack is a nice feature which isn't found in other hubs. Very sleek and compact design which quickly attaches to my Yoga 920. Because it plugs into just one USB-C port, I don't recommend keeping it attached to a laptop while transporting because the USB-C tip could easily be bent or broken off. Also, the laptop must be powered off prior to inserting the hub into the USB-C port otherwise it will not send a signal to the monitor. This isn't the case with USB ports or the audio jack.

I am extremely impressed with the Hyper - 7-Port Universal USB-C Hub - USB-C Docking Station for Laptops. Its performance is exceptional, and its user-friendly design enhances its convenience. Although it is a bit expensive, the investment is definitely worth it. It would be even more advantageous if the USB-C connected to my laptop had a feature that allows it to be pressed to pop out when needed and pressed again to retract for storage. Also, since it already obstructs the second USB-C on my MacBook, it would be more durable and useful to have something similar to the flip-out black stem on the hub that can plug into the side, making it less floppy and potentially easier and more secure when inserting and removing items from the ports.

The unit is light and compact and fits easily into my computer bag however, its a little sloppy when plugged into my MacBook Pro. The laptop has to be on a hard level surface or a good connection isn't made. For example, I set my laptop on a level hardwood chair seat that had a one inch foam pad on the seat and that was enough to give me a poor connection and it wouldn't work. If I place it on a level hard surface, there is no problem except it wiggles a little if you move the computer while it is plugged in.
