||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I gave it a 4 is bcoz if I want to use the iphone earbuds, I can't use this port. I can't use it when I have computer cover. Otherwise very stylish

Good, but has a couple drawbacks
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the HyperDrive's as I have the large version for my work computer, but it only takes 1 USB-C slot whereas this overlaps both slots even though it only uses one, meaning I no longer have access to, so in essence, am losing an entire USB-C slot that I need/could use. The trade-off is they give you one on the drive itself.. but would be nice to gain a slot vs completely losing one. Other than that, a solid, small adapter.

USB-C connector in wrong place
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Going to go back and exchange for a version with a smarter USB-C placement design. Not really designed for PC, Apple targeted. Some versions get HOT during operation.

A must have device for all new macs!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was mystified to find that after upgrading from my trusty old 2012 MacBook Pro to my new M1 MacBook Air, that Apple had robbed me of all my necessary ports. Luckily, this one device solved all of my complaints and issues. Good build quality and functions flawlessly. Well done!

Buy a hub with a cable connector instead.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frankly their heart was in the right place—it has plenty of ports. But it's connection is so flimsy and points the wrong way—meaning instead of aligning with your MacBook, it literally hangs off the end, creating an easy-to-potentially-damage appendage. Would not ever buy again, there are plenty of other great options. Go with one that has a cable connection instead.

turk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually purchased this item as a gift. Their feedback was extremely positive. I received multiple "thank you" texts. Adding multiple ports made using their device much easier. Simple to install and understand. Just plug it in and add your additional devices. Did everything they wanted.

Great clean way to add additional connections.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great and gives you some extra ports on your MacBook. You cannot use them on using covers on your device so keep that in mind. It worked great with the original but when you add a cover housing to it the plastic sticks out too far to engage the connection. I now have to cut the cover in order to have it fit. If they had made a longer connection point or an extender it would work perfectly.

Perfectly what I was looking for!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was everything I was hoping it’d be. I use the USB ports and am able to connect a USB hub to it, to increase the amount of devices I can connect. I use it primarily for my USB music interface for recording vocals as well my USB midi keyboard. I use the USB C port to charge.

HyperDrive 7-Port
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always one to have enough ports available, I purchased this 7-port Hub shortly after I bought my new Samsung laptop which has only USB-C ports onboard. Although not inexpensive, it fits compactly against the side of the laptop and provides the additional ports the laptop lacks. It is well made and works as expected.

Provides additional flexibility with ports
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comes in very handy when you are limited in available ports. I have a remote mouse that uses up one of my ports, leaving me with few other options. This works great. No longer have to juggle port inputs…

All-in-one solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm among the Mac fans who won't even consider a non-Mac, so I was perplexed by the force-feeding of the minimalistic thunderbolt 3 ports instead of the ever-handy array of various ports we all actually need and would prefer. Paying mucho bucks per dongle is not ideal. You still can't beat Mac laptops, so I just sucked it up and bought the HyperDrive 7-port solution. It has everything on it, even a mini SD slot which prevents me from having to tote around the mini-SD-to-SD adapter. The HyperDrive locks into place and fits flush, so I'm not worried about issues from tolerance wiggle. I suppose the constant plugging and unplugging of any device brings the risk of eventual wear and tear contact issues, but I haven't read of any complaints in the reviews. Apple needs to get incahoots with HyperDrive, if they aren't already... this is a much better solution than toting around a dongle fest. Highest marks!
