I went into Best Buy looking for something that would allow me to play high-quality video from my iPad. I intended to buy an Apple display adapter, but the woman that helped me at Best Buy said I should buy the HyperDrive instead, as it would work the same with more ports available. I took it home, plugged it in, and was happy to see that she was right. Got to watch a movie in 4K and was able to take advantage of my 4K 60Hz monitor I use for my computer. I was able to move things from my iPad to a hard drive I have, too.

Easy to use. Ideal for those wanting to plug in earphones or have a hdmi input. Very useful!!! Love it!!!!

I had really only bought this so I could work on images form my drone and camera and while it works great for that as well as an HDMI adaptor, it does have its drawbacks. The fitting is not the snuggest in the world so having external hard drives hanging out of it isn’t the greatest thing in the world as it will wobble around. The overall biggest issue I have with it is the drain on battery life. I can normally leave my 2020 12.9in iPad Pro laying around while I’m at work without the hub attached and have full battery still when I get home. If I leave this hub plugged in it rapidly drains the battery. So If you aren’t actively using the hub I suggest unplugging it. And with the power drain I don’t even really use the HDMI anymore because the drain is very substantial compared to just watching the video on screen with headphones. A Typical 22 minute show will take a percent or two maybe on screen but with the hub between 5 and 10 percent. So keep a power source near by.

If you own an iPad this is a must have accessory. 6 devices operate off of this little plug in. I connect a monitor (HDMI) to it when I’m working out during business hours in my garage (working from home), I connect my iPhone power cord to it to charge my phone, it is charging the iPad and I still have other accessories that I haven’t used yet. NO setup required, literally plug and play. Definitely a must have.

This made my iPad a much more capable device. The card reader and USB ports are great, and you can even charge the iPad through the device. The only downside there is that it fit with the case I have for my iPad. The way it’s designed, I’m not sure if it’ll fit with any case. I use this to edit pictures from my camera in Lightroom on the go.

I bought this to have an external hard drive in my iPad to edit photos on that hard drive. It works perfectly! Added bonus is now I can use the hdmi output to connect to my tv for Apple TV especially when I travel.

I love how capable this adapter is! Every port has been useful to me and makes my IPad Pro more of an ideal day to day use. It does get hot and it gets loose and disconnects from my iPad but i just push it back in. It’s annoying but i just became conscious of it and constantly make sure it’s in.

This is a very nice little device to really take your iPad Pro to the next level as it make its so easy to read or transfer many different types of files directly onto your iPad Pro. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to expand the capabilities of their iPad Pro,

Just what I needed to connect to accessories to my I Pads.

Like the design and the functionality. Works as expected

Great for a USB-C dock that matches well with Apple. Only downside is that it did not work with every certified USB-C cable charger I had. It's a little pricey compared to the competition.

More useful than Apples adapter. Having an hdmi input along with the standard usb, 3.5mm, and sd card make this adapter a daily use item. Being able to charge the device while using a 3rd party keyboard and using wired headphones is unmatched.

This works great as a dock for my iPad Air and my Surface Pro 7. The ability to add HDMI and lots of other ports is great. The only port that seems to have issues the micro sd card reader. Certain cards seem to hang or freeze up.

Bough this to use with my iPad but ended up also using it with my M1 Mac Book Pro for the different connection type and SD cards for my Cameras. Great little tool. I can charge through the USB-C port and use the other ports to download camera pictures on.

This hub does a great job of making your iPad Pro much more versatile. Makes it easier to load or download files, upload photos and listen to your music library on headphones. Well worth it.
