I upgraded my 2012 gen MacBook Pro for this one since some of the new updates make my older computer lock up when rendering video on FinalCut ProX. This things is crazy fast and has the feel you always think for Mac. The display is great and the touchbar on the top of the keyboard is awesome - it gives you in app options for all your photo and video softwares and can be programmed via third party for other apps. Also, this things gives me insane speeds and clarity to play WoW, can't beat that!

The Hub fits snuggling against the computer. I did have to modify the bottom cover I put on the computer to allow for the Hub. It adds the extra outlets I require on my computer.

It works really well and is quite compact. It fits great and if you have a micro sd card in it it can act as extra storage.

While it comes in handy, it is easy for it to lose its connection when bumped. Also, most MacBook Pro cases prevent it from being plugged in at all without modifying or removing the case.

Good if you have a macBook pro from 2015-2017 with only USB-C ports adds USB 3 ports, ethernet HMDI and sever other ports

as expected. easy to use. small and works for what i bought it for...to bad the new apple laptops do not have more ports so have to buy additional stuff

Being used to windows based machines all these years, this is a must have for connecting usb devices like you're used to

This is awesome so my child can use his flash drive to do homework and then save it to finish up assignment at school.

This has came in handy a few time since the MacBook Pro has a limit number of plugs. Its also slim enough where it do not take up additional room in the bag.

Loving it with it's versatility and design. the hub really was a thoughtful thing, it doesn't leave my work desk, as i only use that at work with the 2 printer cables. sometimes the card slots and i also have the power plugged in it always. i don't travel with my laptop, will only move it around the house so instead of unplugging multiple cables, i just unplug the hub and i'm gone. the problems i have noticed though is it the slots for the USB are way too tight of a fit, it is quite hard to remove if i needed to. the color i go is space gray but unfortunately it is not matching my space gray macbook pro. other than the 2 cons mentioned, there are no complaints at all

This is a necessary accessory for any usb c device that doesn’t offer any other options. Basically any computer you buy these days. I like the fact it matches the Apple MacBook Pro in color and material. Well built and looks good. And Works!!!! Only issue - it’s expensive.

Works well and I love that it is small and easily packed. It is delicate in the connection though. It is easy to unplug a usb cable and you end up accidentally unplugging everything.

Adds fast USB ports for external drives, MicroSD and standard SD card reader to my MacBook without hogging space.

It fits into the USB C okay, but I wish it did not just hang there susceptible to damage and movement. And if you use one of the protective cases, well you will have to get a scissors and trim the case. I think it should have 3 USB ports. Apple really mad a mistake by not having the usual ports.

No complaints yet on this hyperdrive. It’s small and doesn’t really add size or bulk to my MacBook Pro, and it has everything I need. Beats carrying around tons of dongles, IMO.

At first glance, the HyperDrive matched the Space Grey finish of the Macbook Pro, perfectly. Upon placement, the device did not fit flush with the side of the actual computer body. After some investigating, I later found out that a firm push is necessary to affix the HyperDrive to the computer such that a flush fit is accomplished. Don't worry about breaking the port on the computer. After the first fit, each subsequent fitting became much easier. The drive works as expected and advertised. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the difficulty of initial fit without a better explanation of what to expect in the instruction manual.

Works great and provides a good number of extra ports and slots. Does not work with some MacBook cases though.

Sits right on the side of the machine no annoying connecting cables. Reads mini sd cards and sd. Works great.

Excelent, two ports for usb and two for bolt, 1 for hdmi and 2 for SD cards. The flaw is ot dosent fir if you mac has a cover, you need to take it off. But besides that it works great

For someone who needs the USB ports for a cooling fan and an hdmi to duel screen this product couldn’t be more needed. My o my complaint is with my case on it doesn’t fully stick in but is still usable with it on. A must get for anyone in the Apple world
