You absolutely need this module if you have drives with old USB plugs or you want to run video out via HDMI.

Got a new MacBook pro and had an older set up with a MacBook air with an hdmi adapter for external monitors... I needed the HDMI still but also wanted my usb for my mouse.. This did the magic and I'm up and running without loosing any workflow... Fits as if it belongs there..

I love this as i have several other pieces I need to hook-up to my mac. very versatile and love the hdmi.

The hub has all of the ports that I'll ever need in the foreseeable future without being bulky or cumbersome. It blends in perfectly with the laptop so I sometimes forget it's even there until I unplug and go mobile. My only complaint is that it is a tad bit on the pricy side for what it is.

Most dongles seem to be pricey. This one is no exception. It feels solid but I worry about durability. The usb c connectors are the physical support system.

Very portable & convinent to use. Definitely is a must need if you are planning to buy the new MacBook Pro

If you buy an Apple laptop this is a must have product. Works perfectly! I did have to cut my case in order to use this while my case was on but otherwise very satisfied.

I bought this with my new MacBook Pro so I never tried anything else first. It's great but seems to disconnect when I close the lid so what happens is external hard drives are not ejected properly. I solved the problem by ejecting them first. But that is a pain to do it every time.

I needed it for my new Mac Book Pro. When the connection is made it works well. It does not take much movement to get it to loose connection. Needs to stronger connection.

I needed a way to connect my hdmi TV as well as other regular usb items. This does the job very well.

While I appreciate apple’s slick design, the fact that you need dongles and extra items to connect to your computer in order to be productive kind of defeats the purpose. This item was the most form fitting solution that I was able to find to fit my needs. Item seems to work well.

Sales associate recommended this card reader that had multiple outlets for memory cards and USB ports.

At $99, this item is too expensive for me. I did like the slim profile against my MacBook, but two ports was too much, and I found it was easily jostled out of he usb-c port.

Super fast imports from the SD slot and does not take up a bunch of space on the side. It has an HDMI output so you can connect to a larger monitor or TV. It has USB 3.1 and there are USB-C ports too. You get a lot of inputs in a small device.

This comes in handy especially because the only ports you have on the new MacBook Pro is the USB type C, for speed and to make it super thin so I’m not even mad. I use my hyperdrive a bit to transfer data and to watch what’s on my MacBook on the TV. It even comes with a little pouch to put it in when your not using it so it’s easy to take with you, just slide it in your bag and you don’t have to worry about it scratching anything!

This hub adds all the ports I need for my MacBook Pro. And the color matches my computer perfectly

I like the number of ports opens up on my Mac. Only complaint is come easily undone from computer.

I was very excited about the size and expansive assortment of ports from this Hyperdrive USB Type-C Hub. The color matched my Macbook Pro 2019 13" so well and so seamlessly. However, I have a leather shell cover on the top and a plastic one on the bottom and their dimensions interfered with the flush attachment of the hub to the side of the laptop. So, every time I want to use the hub, I have to remove the upper shell to get the proper attachment. It is a minor inconvenience but outside of that, I am very happy with the product.

This is a great USC-hub, you will need it for the MacBook Pro availability for additional support.
