Ports are back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This hub works flawlessly. My MacBook Pro has its ports back without having to buy a ton of dongles. It even looks good while plugged into the computer.

Must Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little device that will use two thunderbolt 3 ports on the newer MacBook Pro's with Touch bar (2016 and 2017). They add native support for USB A cables without getting USB A to USB C converters. This also gives you the much needed memory card reader and one thunderbolt 3 port as a charging pass thru. When you plug it into your mac, just make sure to hear the click and push it all the way in.. or else it won't provide consistent connection. The HDMI output is also very handy if you have an external monitor but its 4K performance isn't the best.

Great adaptor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I gave this product four stars is it's lack of compatibility with the hard shell case, even with an employees reassurance that it would fit. If I am using the adaptor, I have to take off the bottom half of the case. Otherwise, obviously this is necessary without all of the outlets built into the computer anymore, but is still extremely helpful.

Great idea
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great Device so far and enables me to use older accessories and storage devices. The only draw back is the unit doesn’t fit flush to the side of the laptop if you use a plastic protection cover. It will not work unless it’s snapped in completely flushed to the side. I’m working on modifying the cover to allow it to fit flush to the side of the laptop. If you don’t mind removing your bottom cover each time you want to use this device or can modify the cover then this will be a great purchase. Only flaw is I wish it were cheaper in price.

Pretty solid dock
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like it save for about three things: - It feels flimsy. Although it's not, just the feeling of it being fragile makes me a tad iffy. - The unplugging process is a workout. The USBs and the HDMI tend to get stuck a little and don't come out as easily as I would hope. - This next one is a little bit of a pro and a con. It plugs in absolutely flush to the computer, which looks really good, but as soon as you put a shell on, the dock won't plug in all the way. The product is amazing for what it is. It works well and it's easy to work with, but it can be a little frustrating to pay so much for a product that just "gets the job done."

The Most Essentail Part.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new MacBook Pro needs this to make all of you other connectors. It should come standard and it is expensive. But you have to have it.

Love Hate relationship
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a real L&H relationship with this device. When it works, great-I love it. I love how many ports it has-especially having the HDMI. The sleek design is appealing. The thing I hate is how it torques on the usb sockets and how its pronged are also torqued. It is like i am just waiting for it to fail or damage my MacBook. Other issue if there is any movement or the wind blows, it loses the connection then I have to go through the headache of a repeatedly unmounted drive. I ordered an alternate solution that has a single connection and cord to a multi-dongle.

Great for new MacBook Pro w/too few ports
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has largely worked as promised and solved my connectivity problems for a remote workspace. I did have one large USB-C drive that would not connect through this device... But that seems to be the exception, as all ports have worked well other than that one occasion. Would recommend. Would have given 5 stars, but a little pricey.

Perfect hub companion for MacBook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With an updated Mac, I needed a hub that could offer multiple connections. This one has a sleek design and compliments the computer well. It is slender in size and travels well with travel sleeve.

Convenient but too expensive...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A hub is a must-have for the latest MB Pros with the limited connection options. I work from a monitor as well as charging my phone, so I needed both the HDMI and USB ports available. After I hesitantly bought this item, it occurred to me that I might be able to find suitable hubs somewhere else for a lower price. I did, so I returned this one. When I compare the reviews for this one with the one I eventually purchased, function and issues are exactly the same. Why spend more for the same challenges? I'm hoping another option becomes available in the very near future.

Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe this product (or something similar to it) is a must have. So many devices and external storage systems are still standard USB. I like how it adds SO MANY different options. It is nice that it sits flush against the MacBook however that is also the problem....I am no longer able to fit a case on my MacBook unless I remove the case every time I want to plug in the hyperdrive. That is frustrating and I have yet to figure out a solution for this problem. Other than the above mentioned issue I love everything about the hyperdrive.

hyperdrive usb
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Guys I'm telling you this usb is great. I just bought the new MacBook Pro and totally forgot that all of the imports on the computer are type c imports so I had to buy the hyperdrive but this is the best one because it has a whole much of import that were in my last computer and it pocket size and everything!

Good piece
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It won’t work with a shell case cause it needs to be flush with your computer, and the color isn’t really a good match to Apple’s Space Grey... but it works well so long as you have a sleeve case or don’t mind removing your shell case.

Easy way to expand capability of Mac Book Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Mac Book Pro 13 with Touch bar satisfies my needs in every way but one. It doesn’t provide the necessary ports that I need to be able to use my current accessories. In one compact unit, this device provides slots for my USB-3 thumb drive, external backup hard drive, an SDHC slot, a micro SD slot, and an HDMI slot. It also comes with a carrying case for use when not needed. Fits my needs without having to resort to multiple adapters.

Heats up even when computer in sleep mode
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not used all the ports yet but the expansion gets really hot even though the computer is in sleep mode. The hub gets warm even when nothing is plugged into it.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this product, I can connect it when needed, and keep it somewhere else when I don't. It has all the ports you could need. Just make sure to plug it into the computer really well, otherwise it moves and disconnects, but once its connected properly it works fine.

I like all the options..BUT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to get this since the new Macs took out the typical USB ports and instead of buying a bunch of adapters I just got this one. It works great for the ports I've tried so far! My only problem with it is it doesn't fit on my MacBook with the case I have on it. So in order for me to use it I have to remove the bottom part of my case, which is kind of annoying but not the worst. I wish there was someway for that to be prevented such as making the adapter a shape that gives a little room in case the MacBook has a case on it. Overall pretty good product!

Great Addition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new USB is the way of the future and Mac sees it this way. Most of us are still using accessories that have the older USB plugs. This flush fit addition gives you multiple ports for a wide variety of your needs. It is attractive and matches the MacBook.
