    Nice Adapter for the Money

I bought this adapter because I wanted more usb ports than came with my computer. I use a wired mouse with the adapter. The nice feature of the adapter is that it just plug-n-playf for my Windows operating system. There is no software to load on the computer. The computer recognized the device right away and I was using my mouse. I also have a scanner I plan to plug into the adapter as well as a back up drive. The only drawback I have found is that the adapter uses the laptop battery power. I left the adapter plugged into my laptop overnight without any power to the laptop. The next morning my laptop battery was dead. Now, when I am done using the adapter I unplug it from my laptop unless I have the laptop plugged in.

    Great drive for the price

I am very pleased with this drive; I was concern I would have configuration or performance issues once configured, but none at all. As simple as plug it into my USB-C available port, and that was it. So far, I have disconnected it multiple times, restarted my computer (with the drive plugged in and out) and no concerns at all. This allowed me to have a multi monitor set up and free the USB's from my laptop. In case I need to carry out with me , is very small, similar to carrying another mouse.

This product is very accommodating and user friendly. The quality is equal to the Dell docking station and pricing is much lower for 9 Ports. I also purchased an 11 port Hyper for the Dell 17 7000 in 2019 and it also works great.

I love that this Port allowed me to connect so many different things to make my work easier and more efficient. It wasn't super expensive. It is durable and I can tell it will last me as long as I want to use it.

The good product. It arrived on time, well packaged and worked right out of the box. Everything I plugged in works. It runs warm but there has been no problems in the eight months I have had it.

I love this port. It’s super easy to use, has docks for everything and doesn’t require a huge knowledge of tech gadgets. It’s a little pricey, but has what you need.

This HyperDrive is well made and uploads photos very quickly. The drive is small enough to fit in my laptop case without being bulky. The drive does get warm while using it, so make certain it is properly ventilated.

It has everything I need when it comes to converting my usb type c on my MacBook Pro. Small and I like how it is an extension off of one usb-c instead of covering both of it on my computer.

I had this for a about a month now and so far so good! It tends to overheat when you have high data transfers but I haven't had it malfunction once. I use this on my iPad pro and it has been a life saver, since it only has one usb-c port. The quality is ok but sometimes I feel like I'm going break it when I put in or take out a cord. Other than that I will continue using this product! And would recommend it for someone who need extra ports that pretty much do have every input needed. I use the ethernet cable port and it so nice having fast dowload and upload speeds.

    Docking Station substitute

In the past I have always used Dell laptops along with their port replicator docking stations. Place your laptop in the docking station and you have a "desktop computer." Dell has moved away from the docking station port replicators so as an alternative I am using the Hyper Drive 9 Port "Docking Station". The reality is you are plugging in cables for your peripheral devises such as printers, ethernet cables, external speakers and keyboards mouse & power supply etc. It is a cumbersome replacement for what once was an easy way to convert your laptop into a desktop computer. It gets the job done with all of the cables plugged into the Hyperdrive "Docking Station" with only one USB-C plugged into the laptop. My Dell XPS laptop comes supplied with a 130 Watt power supply. The Hyperdrive "Docking Station" supplies only 110 watts of power. My Dell XPS will gives an error message stating the power supply is a slow charger and plug in the factory supplied power supply. Under heavy usage such as Photo or video editing the power supply does not provide enough power and the battery does loose some of it's charge. The hyperdrive is a workaround for what once was a great system.

First, hdmi port only pushes 4K at 30hz so if you want 60hz (and I’m sure you do cuz 30 is awful), you’ll need to buy a single port adapter for hdmi 4K. Beyond that this unit works and does what it should. I run an external mouse, keyboard and HD through it no problem as well as an UA recording interface. I dig this model over the few that take up two of your c ports. Not really worth losing that extra port. If you need more ports I’d recommend you buy of these or something similar. It connects snug. Doesn’t fall out. No problems.
