The quality of display and response of devices has not be degraded. Multiple displays is a fantastic benefit this device enables.
Only thing I wish was a bit longer cable. I understand the limit length design for ease of portability, but I suspect most have this sitting on their desk from where they primarily work.

I was looking for a solution for hooking up dual monitors to my Mac Mini. It has worked well, and I am even able to plug it into my laptop to do the same.

There are many travel docks on the market nowadays, and this one was recommended to me by multiple people. Ease of use and dependable. Highly recommended.

This is my second one only because I need one at another location. It’s absolutely plug-in play and works very well with Mac M1, M2 and M3‘s. I have tested it on all three as well as mini windows machines. I recommend this docking station to all my coworkers and friends who just want a docking station that works.

It works great with my MacBook Pro, the only downside is that I can’t use 2 monitors with this thing. I literally tried everything and gave up. Just running one large monitor from it. It does the job but all of these adapters suck honestly. Thumbs down for Apple.

This handy gadget allowed me to extend my MacBook Air M2 to two desktop monitors. There are a few settings to update, and were easy to search via Google.
Hoping that the functionality remains in the future.

I bought this to allow for two extra monitors to run through HDMI. The set up wizard was awesome (easy and quick). At first, it worked great. Finally could work off three screens. But constantly have to unplug and plug back it for it to actually work simultaneously. Its annoying. But honestly, this is the third multiport dock I purchased and at least it works sometimes. I honestly believe its a MacOS issue and not the Hyper hardware.

Purchased 1/21/23 and worked fine for about 2 weeks. The first issues presented as having to restart the 2020 m1 macbook pro and/or fiddle with plugging and unplugging. This progressively started taking longer and longer to connect the mac Mon-Fri - losing up to 30 minutes daily. A second monitor is critical to productivity throughout the day.
Submitted a support ticket and it's been 2 days without a response from Hyper. Their auto reply indicates they typically reply within 48-72 hrs but that due to Covid, it might take a week. With that, the time it will take for back and forth communication, shipping etc, sounds like Hype is fine with a $200 piece of equipment being out of commission for a month(ish) timeframe.
Will update my review once this repair process has played out. As of right now, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who relies heavily on a 2-external monitor setup in an office setting requiring several plug and unplugs daily.

Works amazing every time! The only drawback is that you do have to have a driver for it, and that it technically will show as you 'screensharing' everything. This is only a downside really if you also use it for a work laptop and your work has strict EDR (so you may have to have your work admin install the driver for you if you don't have admin rights to it). They may also need to add it to the allowlist in the EDR/security agent.

I have two 1920x1080 (@ 60Hz) monitors connected to this hub using a MacBook Pro M1 16". Natively, this hub connects only 1 HDMI monitor (as an extended display) or 2 monitors that are mirrored. Only one HDMI port supports full 4K. To get monitor #2 as an extended display, you'll need a driver (which auto-mounts as a drive when you connect it). Bear in mind that this essentially "shares" an extended display to HDMI #2 (much like sharing your iPad as an extended display). By default, the resolution is set below 1920x1080 so you'll have to change your setting to get the sharpest image possible.
