I've used two different HyperDrive dongles (including this one) and both have suffered issues with fragile ports and disconnecting SSD's while transferring large amounts of data.

Doesn't pass enough voltage for Dell

Had to return it. If you need a docking station, just get one from Dell. And was pricey!

Buyer Beware: HDMI issues

It randomly stops sending a display signal to the monitor. It happened the very first time I connected it and then it worked for a few weeks. Today it stopped working and no matter what I try it won't output a signal. The other issue is it is small and light and can be awkward when multiple cables are plugged into it as it doesn't stay in place. I'm returning it.

Not sure it’s purpose

I needed this to allow my monitors at home to work on a client issued laptop. It didn’t work so I returned it.

Loss of signal upon computer sleep

I have to disconnect and reconnect the hub.

Bad HDMI port
