Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the HyperDrive Viper 10-in-2 USB-C Hub's extensive connectivity options and ease of use with their MacBooks. Many appreciate its ability to connect multiple devices and provide additional ports, while some find the device's heat generation and price to be drawbacks. Although generally compatible, some users experienced inconsistent power delivery and limitations with monitor support. The cable length was also noted as a minor inconvenience by a few customers.

    Good enough

For the most part it works perfectly well the only issue I have with it is that when connecting 2 hdmi's one tends to not work, it drains the battery of my laptop a little to fast when all the ports are connected. Other than that it's a pretty good dock if you can get past those issues.

It’s works and does what it’s suppose to but can be very annoying with how long the chords are. I wish it was a single chord so it would be easier to manage. Of course I purchased this to have access to ports again and it works for that reason.

Its pretty pricy and bulky but it's very efficient. It uses 2 USB-C ports so it works quickly. Because the hub isn't attached to the laptop it give you more range of movement and a little extension depending on what you need it for.

    Overheats & Low USB Voltage

Overheats like crazy when using the network connection, or anything else for that matter. Using the USB ports causes a "low voltage" shut down warning for devices that work with no issue when plugged in directly. Cheap construction, flawed design. Not worth the price. MBP M1 16"

This add on to my laptop has helped so much. I use it every time I get on. Extra ports are necessary for multi-purpose MacBook users.

Worked perfectly with my 2030 MacBook Pro. Ran a second monitor, headphones/mic, Ethernet, and USB ring light for my online class. Didn’t even have to remove the case, as you have to with other hubs/docks.

I love it so far. Has all the ports I need. Only wished the usb c port was on the opposite side of the dock - would make hiding the power cable a lot easier.

Good device, working as expected. Don't have 2nd monitor to try how MBP with M1 silicone is working with two screens, but it is working great with my LG TV over HDMI (4K, HDR). Other ports working as expected.

Again, a gift for our son. He knew what he wanted/needed for his Mac and this was it! Great price, and he's able to do everything he needs to do with the Viper 10-Port USB-C Hub Dock on his MacBook Pro.

Works as it’s supposed to but be aware if you have a new MacBook Pro with the new Mac chip it will not support 2 external monitors. The chip Max is 2 and you can’t disable the MacBook screen so only one external display… not this products fault though, just epic fail by Apple

We bought this for a silicon Mac Air M1. We had a previous dock that seemed to be cutting out. This one was a step up in cost, but is dong well. The NIC and video does not cut out. I was leery of the dock sucking up both USB ports in the Mac, but you can make it work with just one. We run power, hdmi, usb mic receiver, Logitech Unity mouse and keyboard, and 4K webcam via USB-c and it does well on the Mac. Much happier than the cheaper one from Amazon.
