This USB-C Adapter is utterly outstanding for everything I need it to do. It works seamlessly with my iPad Pro 12.9 Gen4, iMac, as well as my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1. It even works well (lightning adapter added) with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Its BYFAR the best USB-C Hub/Adapter I've used so far!!!

I just got a new iPad Air and have been using it more than my laptop when I travel. Of course, this necessitated carrying files and such. While I have a dock for my laptop, I really wanted one for the tablet that didn't preclude charging while using. This seemed like a good choice at a good price. It also came with an extension for use with thick cases, which was a bonus. It has just enough ports and pass through charging, even has a plug for headphones. Why 4 stars? At this price you can't expect a great build, but it's pretty sturdy. However, the instructions need some work, such as how to take off and put on the extension...and...this is important...that you might need to totally take off the extension (the black bar across the back that has (and encases) the USB-C plug for the tablet) These things are magnetized. Just be aware. After great frustration because the table wouldn't recognize the disks attached, even using the extension, I had to google the problem. Seems that you may need to leave that off both pieces, even the extender, to make it work because with a case on, the plug does not connect adequately. And I don't have a thick case on my iPad. Which means, that to protect the plug, you have to put that thing back on when not in use. It's not a biggie, but it's annoying. Other than that, it works as advertised, and is automatically recognized when plugged in. Charges well, doesn't weigh much and really is small enough to not weigh down the iPad. It works with the iPad Air, too.

I use this with my iPad Pro for everything presentations Watching movies I’m on the road a lot really comes in handy.

As of now is very helpful for my iPad Pro to access my files faster rather than downloading and transfer to iCloud. I total recommend it.

Been using this hub specifically for the iPad Pro. Can connect to the TV, upload photos to the SD slot, listen to music with wired headphones, and charge via USB-C. What I had intended to do was also use this device for video conference call by plugging in an external microphone. Found out that, the hub does not work that way. Let alone the use of the headphones when in call. Also another thing to watch out for with this product is, if you change the plastic for the device, do not tighten the screw to hard. It is almost impossible to unscrew. Overall the HyperDrive is an excellent product, but not recommended if you have plans to use for video chat if you are using an external microphone or wired headphones.

Product works as described and is a powerful addition for docking onto my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 3rd Gen. Makes transferring media or connecting visuals to larger screens or monitors a breeze. A must have for the business minded multitasker. Hardly use my MacBook Pro since I have adopted my hyperdrive. It attaches easily and firmly, and gives you the option to attach your iPad Pro to a monitor or TV using the HDMI output, as well as use SD memory cards and USB drives (both USB-A & USB-C). You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the USB-C port can also be used for pass through charging for the iPad Pro. I love that the Gray color matches the iPad Pro Space Gray! In my quest to move from laptop to tablet for my video and music workflow a USB hub was a must. The USB port for USB instruments and hard drives has been a breeze. The headphone port has been a life saver, as anybody who creates music or edits videos will know Bluetooth just isn't up to par with it's latency. After an internet outage last night, I hooked my iPad up to the TV via the HDMI port and used my data to stream Adventure Time on HBO Max and it was such an easy process. I haven't used the SD or Micro SD card slots yet, but for my use so far this product has gone above and beyond! The adapter comes with 3 different mounts, 2 of them look alike* that sit directly on the iPad with one having an extended USB-C port, which will come in handy if you have a case. I do wish that it could fit flush against my ipad with the case on, but if that's my only issue, I can absolutely live with it. I highly recommend this product! *They look alike, but I haven't inspected them to see if there's any difference since I can't use them with my Logitech Combo Touch Folio case.

Was doing my research about making my iPad more useful for my productivity and came along with this product called HyperDrive 6 in 1, I thought to myself if this is the product I was looking for. Proceeded on with my research , I coped one of it and gave it a try and this product is a 100% must use for IPad users. It kinda changes your IPad into a portable laptop. With this product you can charge it while having the benefit of a 3.5mm jack, USB, micro and sd, and the best one of them all an HDMI output to which ever moniter or TV you try to plug in to. This product made my needs a very easy day task.

If you own an iPad Pro and don’t have this accessory then go out and pick one up. Here is what I wish someone would have told me: 1. I wish someone would have said this does not “clip” or make a secure fit on your device. - This product comes with a three total options to attach to your iPad Pro. - Read the inside of the black attachment as the description will tell you if it is for “Case”, “Screen Protector”, or “Without Screen Protector”. 2. It will drain your battery. I don’t have the exact percentage of how much it will drain your battery overnight. Just expect slightly less battery life on your device. 3. It gets warm. So with most of these dongles or attachments they don’t have an internal fan. So if you have all ports being used at once for a presentation or while working. Make sure to work in a cool environment or have a small desk fan to keep it cooler. 4. It works like BUTTER!! I mean this thing from the moment I plug it in, I can open my files app and just go to work with transferring files and it works like a dream. My hope for the future of using these types of attachments is that software developers allow the users to download an .exe to run on the iPadOS for further use. All in all this is a great product and if you are a student, professional, or someone who is always taking notes and has a lot of files get this device. It is worth every penny.

Works well with my iPad pro. The only thing I noticed is that it can get hot (temperature) after a while. I would give it 5 stars if the price was lower.

Works Excellent! The micro SD card slot might not read at times but if you plug into the adapter and use the SD card slot it works absolutely fine. Another thing to note is if you try to access a file directly on the SD card using Files app it will delete the file of your memory card. It is a glitch with apple file system and I've tested this across other USB C hubs as well with same behavior. The product feels very sturdy and comes with its own attachments to suite your needs. I use it with the magic keyboard and plugs right in with the provided "without screen gaurd" attachment and you can basically leave it on without no problems. All the ports on here do work fine. Haven't done stress testing yet. It's definitely pricier compared to the competition but feels like custom tailoring for the ipad justified the price

It does the job for my iPad Pro. Believe it or not, it also nicely fits my M2 MacBook Pro 13 inches. My only complaint is that it drains the battery very fast.

Very compact and convenient. Using it with an iPad Pro 11inch M1 with the Magic Keyboard accessory and it fits nicely. However, I haven’t been able to get the HDMI port to work with my TV. I’ve been able to use the HDMI port from other 3rd party unpowered USB C hubs just fine. I’ve tried different HDMI cables, all different methods of plugging everything in the correct order, etc. For the price, definitely not worth it if unable to get the HDMI to work. This item would have been perfect otherwise. If anyone knows a trick, Halla!

With this hub you can add more to your IPad Pro. You can now charge Your Ipad and at the same time listen to your audio where without this you can’t do both. You can also add a SD card to share files and use for multiple devices. In the past when I travel (I travel a lot) I would take my Ipad With me to check emails and to unwind and play games, and I would also take my laptop for work to load files and using word app etc. Now with this I won’t need to bring my laptop as this turns my iPad more into a laptop and don’t need my laptop It is the best accessory to have for your laptop.

This is so clutch!! I wish I had this a long time ago. It’s great for of course any type of files to transfer or upload/etc. Great for transferring photos. I love that it also has an audio axillary input “just encase” your wireless ear buds/headset battery dies - or for those who don’t have wireless sound options. Also, It isn’t extremely tiny, but not so bulky that it’s a pain or in the way while you’re on your iPad. This is perfect!!! I love it.

This is an awesome hub to have especially if you have an iPad Pro it makes it so easy to transfer any type of file to flash drive memory card USB-C HDMI almost any cord you can think of it as a female attachment this is great I highly recommend to anybody the photographer or videographer or just somebody who has a lot of files to transfer to their iPad or transfer out
