One downside to the new Macintosh is that my other devices are not all USB-C. This allows me to fix that along with the other ports my 2009 MacBook Pro has (admittedly I miss that laptop). HDMI is a huge plus to connect to an external monitor or the TV without buying yet another cable. Just be careful when using this while using on your lap, I worry it could be bent in an accident.

I bought this hub and it works so great, it has a nice leather sleeve that allows you to keep it protected and also in your pocket. It charges your computer and allows you to have enoug outputs needed

The hyperdrive is awesome to connect your other devices

This hyperdrive is NOT compatible with apple superdrive.Otherwise its OK.USB port is woking for my hard drive and others connections.I had to buy USB C to USB from apple to run my superdrive.

Purchased a new MacBook Pro. Decided to add this accessory to the list so that I wouldn't need all of the dongles. I think it will be useful, although I haven't used it enough to speak to its durability.

It works just as advertised. It does get hot after continued use and is somewhat thick so it will not fit when a hard shell protective case is placed on the MacBook. That’s not really the fault of the hub, but should have been considered when making the product. Also it is very expensive considering how cheap the material is.

This works great for what I needed and looks sleek with my macbook. I like that it matches and looks original. I recommend this to anyone who needs to connect peripherals on the go quickly and easily.

A much needed accessory for the new MacBook if you want to use anything traditional USB. Disappointed that this WILL NOT power my apple OEM DVD drive. If that's important to you, you might want to find another alternative. Otherwise, performs fine. Feels like this thing should be priced in the $30-$50 range though for what it accomplishes. Wait for a sale.

This is a nice hub. The build quality is nice, speed is nice and looks great! I gave it 4 stars because the way it connects to the laptop. I feel the connection could be be a little better... sometimes I feel this should be a little thicker just so it doesn’t hang from the laptop the way it does. Also, had to modify the case so I can use this hub without having to remove the case every single time. Overall, great hub!
