I knew this would happen. I knew that once we received the new HyperIce - Hypervolt vibration massage device that it would go missing in my house and I would have trouble getting my own time with the device. Yup - that's exactly what happened. I have teenage sons that love to work-out, lift weights and get buff. They lift hard and come home and talk about how sore they are. Boo Hoo. Always asking for back rubs, leg rubs, etc. Not Any More. Enter the vibration massage unit. WOW. I'll admin it looks a little menacing - almost gun like. However, it runs so smooth, so quiet - so much better than my Dewalt jigsaw with the massage ball attachment. There is no comparison. It comes with 4 massage attachments to really help get in there when needed. I absolutely love it. It holds a charge for roughly 2 hours - which is ample time to massage several people. It feels great on the back, neck, legs, arms, feet - just stay off the head and those boney areas. If you're an athlete that needs a good, penetrating massage or even if you are an office worker with shoulder and neck stress - you are going to LOVE this device. I don't give 5 stars very often at all - but this device rates HIGH on both mine and my family's list. You won't be sorry.

So this might seem like overkill or a novelty. Well it is for sure. In I good way. I myself work out 4-5 days week in and week out. I also work light labor for a few hours a day 5 days a week. And I am always sore(mild). I also usually have tight knots throughout my body. Due to the heavy physical activity done daily. And this hypervolt massager works wonders. It’s light weight. But looks cool and high end. I can operate it with one hand. I’m no professional but I know the basics. I target the spots I can reach myself. And ask my wife to get the hard to reach spots. This product works amazingly. You feel looser and more relaxed after just a few minutes. There are 3 levels. I use level 2. That’s a perfect speed for me. Battery life last several hours. You also get several attachments. They are a ball shaped, a bullet shaped and some 2 prong looking one that I’m not sure if I will use. I’m satisfied with it. Works perfectly for my needs. We can all use a personal massager. Good luck!

I purchased this product about a week ago and was simply impressed to say the least. I run between 15 to 20 miles a week, so needless to say my calves get a little sore. There are three settings low, medium, and high. While the high was too powerful for me, the low and medium worked perfectly fine. This product did a great job working through the knots in my legs, neck, and shoulders. It is easy to assemble and use. The battery comes fully charged right out of the box which is an added bonus. The only downside is this product is fairly heavy, so plan accordingly if you are planning to travel with this. Also, it doesn't come with a bag/case, which means you have to be careful with keeping up with the included parts (charger, massage tips, etc.). Keep in mind, this massager can be very powerful even at low settings. Overall, this is a great product and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this product to active individuals.

My wife suffers from chronic muscle pain from old injuries. One of my coworkers showed me the Hypervolt we decided to take a chance on it. At $350 this is not cheap by any stretch, but the relief it provides makes it well worth the price. The box includes the motor, battery, charger, and 4 attachments. I was a little disappointed a carrying case isn't included, though the box can serve as a case of sorts. Using the Hypervolt is dead simple, there's just the power switch and one button, which cycles through the 3 intensity levels. We found the ball attachment to be the best general use one, but the bullet was also really nice for targeting specific areas. The motor is super smooth and in general we only needed to use the first and second intensity levels. The battery life is indicated on the back and while your usage will vary, we've been able to get at least a couple hours of use between charges. As a fitness-oriented device I can't comment on that as much as neither myself or my wife are very athletic, but for her it's been a godsend.

This comes with a high price tag but it’s worth every penny. It’s not a simple vibrating massager but a heavy duty percussion massager. It has three impact settings and multiple attachments that is sure to provide the perfect combination for all your post workout pains and strains as well as muscular and joint pains from day to day life. Its rechargeable powerful battery (which also is the devices handle) gives it complete portability for use on the go like at the gym or out for a hike or rock climb. I do however find the device a bit heavy when using it on the back by yourself, but it’s totally wonderful when my wife uses it on my back for me.

I’ve been using my new Hypervolt for a while now and I have mixed emotions about it. For one, I feel like this is made more for athletes and therapists than the average Joe. It is like a two and a half pound jackhammer that even on the lowest setting is very powerful. This is not a massager for someone that just wants a little destressing. For someone that is on the frail side I think it’s too powerful. Two elderly people that I tried this on both said it was too rough for them. This is more for someone that has done a workout and has specific sore muscle spots. The pounding is painful in those spots but the vibration leaves a numbing sensation in the area which provides temporary relief. The medical benefits are more anecdotal than hard science, so take them with a grain of salt. It is a bit awkward to try on your own back. While it can be done, it isn’t an easy process so I would recommend getting someone else to use it on your back. It’s pretty easy to use on your own legs though. Bottom line: if you’re an athlete with frequent sore muscles, give this a try as it may help with recovery. If you’re a massage therapist, this may be a good tool in your arsenal. If you’re looking for a massager to help relax away the stresses of the day, this isn’t the product for you. I would recommend this to a friend that is an athlete, but no one else.

We debated on whether we should get this or the newer model and decided on this for couple of reason. First, this model is not as heavy as the newer one. After using it on our shoulder for couple of minutes, even the weight of this can make our hands and arms tired. Second, we rarely use it beyond the lowest setting level so the newer model being more powerful doesn't seem to justify the cost to us. How well does this massage device work? I can tell you it keeps my muscles from getting cramps after long walks. It greatly relieves achy shoulder and back from sitting at my desk. It works so well that even my teenage daughter uses it after her soccer practice and game. If you're debating whether you should spend the money on this because it is not cheap by any mean. Don't. If you're an average person with an average built, get this. If you're a body builder type or in excellent physique, then perhaps the newer model with a stronger motor is more for you. Your body will thank you.

This massager is BY FAR the best unit on the market. I have seen many of these and this device is so quiet you can actually use this at night without feeling like you are doing construction. The battery lasts for a long time and the power this thing has is amazing. Multiple speeds, multiple attachements! Yes...the price may be a little steep...BUT you pay for the quality not the quantity! This thing is built very high quality and you will feel it as soon as it hits your hands. BUY BUY BUY!!!!

Great battery life, designed for "spot" aches.

We received the Hypervolt massager - I got it mostly for my wife, as she has issues with aches and pains in her back, shoulders and Sciatica. From the feel of the box and everything included, as well as the overall design and sturdiness of the device, I definitely feel like it's a "money's worth" purchase. It works great for pains in specific spots and muscles. Unfortunately, nothing in the box or online that I've found explain the specific purpose for some of the odder attachments, like the pronged one. We mostly use the flat circular one and the rounded ball one. Everything works great though and the speeds go so fast, you can't even tell it's on or vibrating while holding it - which is great. I will say this brings the blood to the surface of the skin much quicker than most others I've used and I have to quit after about 15-20 min or so. However, if you are looking for more coverage at once (such as for having someone do your whole back), this is not what you are looking for - it's very cumbersome for that. I do wish there was a head that provided a little more coverage - perhaps a slightly wider one. Especially given the asking price. Additionally, the battery life is outstanding and we've yet to have to charge it since our initial charge.

Outstanding massage device that gets the job done. This recommended by a group of massage professionals who all indicated that they purchased it both for their work and to use on themself. Anyone that regularly visits a chiropractor could augment their visits with this very effective massage device. It is quiet and a common criticism is the size, but given the power the device needs to sturdy to accommodate higher levels.

My wife has an extremely stiff upper back so I bought this for her. It really beats the heck out of her back. The next day she was super sore but in a good way (I wasn't allowed to even touch her back with a feather). If you use it a lot at once, it takes a couple days for your body to recover before you can use it again. There are four ends you can put on it. The ball is the softest so it's a good way to start trying it out. She really likes the flat attachment (about the diameter of a quarter). When you really want punishment you use one of the other two ends. Also very quiet, definitely not like some of those re-purposed jigsaws you see from other companies. In my opinion, this replaces the weekly massage you get from a professional. Yes it's expensive but if you forgo a $50 massage, it pays itself off in 7 trips.

I bought this a a Bday gift for my wife who has occasional lower back pains. I apply this with the soft rubber head attachment and she loves the relief it gives her. She also self relieved the pain in her leg recently after tripping and bruising her leg. Battery life is amazing. My only gripes are that its a little heavy and not for self performed back massages, partner is required to massage your back. But I kind of knew this going in since I read a lot of other reviews first. So I wont ding the rating. The unit is solid and well built. A little pricey, but after reading the reviews of the knock-offs on the A-Z site, I realize you get what you pay for as the cheap knock offs dont have the power or torque that this one has. Go watch some youtube video comparisons and you will see.

This is a very powerful device, and gives a satisfactory massage depending on your pain tolerance. The battery lasts a good 2 hours of heavy use, and the operation is simple and intuitive. It's hard to justify this purchase for the price. I am an older bball league player and this device helps me stay on the court and prolongs what's left of my balling days. That was my excuse. The relief is real.

Owned another percussion massager (basically a skill saw with massager tips) and this has out performed in battery life and ease of use. I wish they had more variety in tips but they work perfectly regardless. So quiet which I needed since I do like to watch TV with my wife and we can listen to the TV without the annoying rumble that other percussion devices give off. My muscles are pretty tight and the highest setting even relaxing me. The intensity of the 2nd and 3rd levels are not made for everyone. My wife can barely handle massages to her legs on level 2. I on the other enjoy the intensity.

I hurt my back recently. My PT used this massager on me and I loved how it felt. I immediately went and bought this from Best Buy. It is seriously the BEST massager! It comes with 4 attachments and has 3 speeds. The charge holds close to 3 hours. If anyone has aching muscles or knots the Super Volt is the answer for them. I highly recommend it and am certain whoever buys it will love it! My daughters and son tested it and ended up buying it too. This is an AMAZING product!!

This item helps me so much lately I've been having so much back pain and having to use this item more frequently. The interchangeable heads are great. The battery seems to last for a long time as I have not charged it more than once so far. I do wish it was a little bit lighter weight and maybe had different color choices. My FSA covered the cost of this item and I had gotten a letter of medical necessity from my chiropractor.

Had my massage gun for a few months now and I have to say the best investment on recovering from my workouts. I use it daily to warm up my muscles and post workout to loosen lactic acid build up and any knots from kickboxing. The multiple heads make it so convenient targeting and accessing specific areas that need attention. Battery lasts a while. Simple to use. It's quiet! And light weight to use on others! Overall great to have.

My husband and I love this massage gun. There's a nice variety of attachments that are easy to change, each one targeting different muscle groups. The power can go from a gentle, relaxing massage to a therapeutic, deep tissue massage. My only complaint is that the gun is a bit heavier than expected, but we both get so much relief from this device that the weight of it is negligible.
