Well, wasn't sure what to expect for $1,000. I run a lot and am in my 50's...was hoping this would provide some quicker relief/recovery. It felt good to use, was easy to use but... for the $$$ maybe I expected more. I'll be returning it but could see where some people would really enjoy it. At the end of the day, the amount of $$$ spent just wasn't worth the result.

My whole family enjoys using the leg recovery system. I bought two pair for my athletic sons. One son is in college and the other is in high school. They love being able to use their systems before and after games and performances. It is definitely money well spent!

Bought this as a gift for my son. He play soccer and if you do have multiple games in a week this is a new a must. Recovery is about 60% faster and will prevent cramps for sure. He was using this before at DA showcases and like it a lot. Every better soccer academy supply their players with now

Definitely the best compression legs on the market though it still leaves me wanting more considering the price point. That being said they work really well and out perform any other products that are similar that I have tried with one exception that was significantly higher in price. For an at home recovery system these work well though I do wish they would stop when the timer expired versus running through the full cycle. For example if it’s just starting a new cycle and the timer hits 0 at that point it will continue on which essentially means it goes for longer than you planned and have to manually shut it off. App is bare bones and leaves a lot to be desired so won’t even get started on that. Overall really good product and curious to see what the next generation looks like.

I’ve been working out a lot lately, running hiking, and I’ve always had sore legs. I’ve never had anything help me get over leg pain like this does. It’s easy to use, does what it says, and so far has been excellent quality.

I stand at work for 13+ hours back then and my legs ache a lot. Especially after I work out. My pain daily from 1-10 is usually a 8. But after using this for a week my pain is now a 3 to 4. Some days I use it twice to really minimize my soreness and aching pain. Very happy I invested in this product and I have bragging about it to everyone I talk to. Best feature is I don’t have to be close to an outlet to let it charge, the machine has a built in battery pack so I can take this or be anywhere I want to be.

My girlfriend or I use these every day. They are great for relieving stress in the legs and improve circulation. Using them after a very long walk, hike or run makes recovery time so much shorter.

    READ THE SMALL PRINT

This should have be perfect for my needs. I ordered the regular size based upon the measurement guide. The leg piece was almost a foot too long. I tried to use anyway, but because of the fit, the compression actually began just above my foot which didn't allow for proper compression. Despite using the lowest setting, the pressure was very strong. I can't imagine anyone going even to the medium range. When I took this to the store to exchange the rep was very nice. However, I was charged $130 to return it, AND they were going to charge me more money to buy the smaller size. I don't remember the amount--between $50 and $100. I returned this a month ago. So, I didn't buy the other, and was out $130 to hand it back to them. Obviously, I didn't read the small print. I'm not happy with Best Buy. I've ordered from them frequently, but this has soured me for sure. I suppose I should have ordered from Amazon. With the right fit, I believe this is a good product. If you are on the border height-wise, buy the smaller product wherever store you purchase from.

Hi there! We apologize if the standard boots did not fit your needs. The standard boot should be good for anyone 5'3 to 6'3, so we are sorry if that was not the case with you. If you would like to further discuss the Normatec product and sizing issues, please reach out to our HyperCare team at [email protected] and we'd be happy to help!

I've seen athletes use this so I thought I'd check it out. I'm no athlete. Just an average, aging guy who likes to routinely work out and occasionally play pick up basketball. My legs used to go sore for a couple of days after playing pick up basketball. This certainly helped alleviate that. This was a costly splurge for me but I figured it's cheaper than getting occasional massages and if I'm able to avoid limping around the day after playing basketball, it's worth it.

I bought these for my son who is a college athlete and he absolutely loves these recovery boots. They are also being used in the training room and he said he never was able to use them since the other members of the team were always using them so now he can at home and it is making him feel so much better and allowing him to recover after a tough practice/game. He is 6’3” and the tall goes right up to his hip and he loves them.

Great product! Became aquatinted with this system in PT before and after knee surgery. Helped me with circulation and muscle recovery after workouts and prompted me to purchase my own system for home use. The only con I have is that one of the leg boots seems to inflate slightly tighter than the other regardless of the leg it is fitted to. I would recommend this product.

Before I dive into the specifics of why Normatec PULSE 2.0 really is a game changer – know that it is expensive BUT it is a great investment for athletes in assisting with their post-recovery. RECOVERY: The Normatec PULSE 2.0 is a great intermittent compression machine that can be used post work outs, after long walks, and daily use to promote venous and lymphatic return as well as decrease swelling. With the promoting of venous and lymphatic return, it will also decrease the severity of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). Since there are 7 levels of pressure available, it is best to start off on the lower side if you are new to the modality. A good level to start with would be at level 3 and experiment with the other levels until you find a level that best fits you. I have found level 4 and 5 the best for me. Elevation with the use of Normatec has been the most effective in reducing the amount of swelling present. If you are someone that has time to spare, it is best to use the Normatec anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. But if you are someone that does not have as much time, a simple 10 minute will also be beneficial. The greatest addition to the 2.0 compared to the 1.0 machine is that it has an icon of the leg sleeves and informs you which segment is being inflated or deflated. The recovery process has differed between not using a modality versus using one. With no modalities accessible, elevation and a cold bath has lessen a little bit of the soreness that can be felt after a rigorous workout but will take days for the soreness to go away. When various modalities became accessible and some affordable, the speed of recovery from workouts has decreased. Comparing the various modalities that I have used so far, the Normatec made the most difference and is the most convenient. There are other modalities that aren’t as portable and may require other things such as ice water in order to function properly. An ice bath is another convenient modality for recovery, but you would need to make sure that the tub you use is big enough for you to sit comfortably and have enough ice to fill 25-50% of the tub since you will then fill the rest with cold water. Although this is a cheaper method, if not careful it can cause nerve damage. PORTABILITY Since water and ice is not necessary, you can carry the Normatec just about anywhere. The Normatec PULSE 2.0 can also work wirelessly so just make sure that you charge it ahead of time in case you do not have an outlet accessible. After using Normatec, the recovery process not only shorter and felt lighter, but two a day practice felt like a walk in the park.

These did break within 8 months despite taking incredible care of them. Luckily after some arguing Normatec did replace the head unit (wouldn’t pump air anymore). When they work, they are incredible but be aware of issues around a year into it. Also happened to other people I know with this same model.
