helpful for recovery of my legs after PT session or biking. use 15-30 minutes sessions. I am on shorter side (5ft 5 inches) andappears better designed for somewhat taller individuals.

Hubby and I really like this Hyperice set. You can even travel with them. TSA approved for carry-on Color display panel shows the timing of each session and 7 intensity levels. Hubby was able to Bluetooth connect to the Hyperice App in less than 5 minutes he was up and running. It’s pretty self explanatory. Customizable time, pressure, and zone settings Via ZoneBoost technology makes for a great muscle and body reset. Compact, lightweight unit will fit into a backpack. 15 V power and rechargeable, lithium-ion battery. Make sure you fully charge before using. Lay down on a flat surface and relax. It’s better that someone help you out them on the first time so that you are comfortable bc the best sessions are at least 30-45 minutes. All of the unit can be wiped down with a damp rag. We only have the legs setup but will strongly plan on getting the arms and waste section as well. The black color is really good for keeping clean and to me, more relaxing. We play golf and in this Texas heat this is perfect for our legs.

Quickly, a bit about me. I’ve always been a casual runner until recently where I’ve entered some shorter 5k and 10k races this summer and presently training for a half marathon in October. I’m in my mid 40s and run three times a week on the present plan. I’ll occasionally work in some muscle training 2x a week. I’m also 5’10 and my legs are average height. I mention this because I’ve noticed some people speak to how long these boots are - the length fits just fine on my legs. Now, the reason I came to purchase these boots is that my legs have been feeling the mileage increases and I noticed just real soreness and uncomfortableness in my legs particularly at night. I own the Hyperice handheld massager and would work that over my legs but it just wasn’t doing as much as I wanted. So I decided to pay the price and try these out. Over the course of about two days and 3 sessions (one pre-run, one post run and one pre-bed routine - all of which are preprogrammed in the Hyperice app) I remained skeptical, thinking I was crazy for paying a $1000. But I kept at the routine of a pre-run session (15 mins) and then a post-run session (between 30-45 mins depending on my schedule) and I really started to notice how much fresher my legs felt starting the run, through the day after my run and then when it came time for the next run. Certainly some may argue it’s a placebo but I’ve been moving and training my body long enough to know when I’m receiving a real, tangible advantage from something and I would buy these boots 10x over again. They are worth every penny to me. As for using the unit, I love the wireless compressor and it’s very easy to connect to the air hoses and it’s relatively quiet in use. Also, the Hyperice app is incredibly easy to set up and use and you’ll never have to actually program the compressor unit yourself as it connects wirelessly to your phone (though the unit is very simple to use on its own if you don’t have your phone). It will take you a few uses to dial in your desired pressure (which can be as intense as you can imagine, I guarantee you that, and it’s lower end intensity levels are very manageable). Finally, the price. I get it. A $1000 up front is A LOT! But I believe it is very worth it even if you aren’t a more serious athlete engaged in training or what have you. Plus, consider the Best Buy credit card to get the zero financing which would break down to a monthly payment over a year that would cost you less then a singularly massage session every month. These boots have been a revelation for me, I would highly recommend them!

The Normatec 3 Legs System is not just amazing, it's incredibly effective. I use it almost every day after running or lifting, while my children, who are both athletes, use it several times a week. It refreshes our legs quickly and reduces inflammation. The pressure can be firm, and I love the pressure on my feet, unlike other recovery boots I've tried, which don't have this level of pressure and don't leave my legs and feet feeling as refreshed. You can wear them while watching TV, reading, or relaxing - I have fallen asleep wearing them, and it makes me feel so relaxed.

Got these to help with recovery while running and working out. I was training for a half marathon and mildly strained my calf muscle with only 2 weeks till my run. I used these every day with no running or jogging leading up to race day and was able to complete my half marathon with no pain or soreness in my calf. I give them 4 outta 5 stars cause they are a bit expensive and would be nice if they came with a bag or carrying case for that price, but overall im satisfied with my purchase!

Bought these because my son had a torn acl and needed to get serious rehab to get back on the field! These have been and amazing tool for him as he spend a year recovering and rebuilding. I was so happy with them that I bought a pair for myself and a couple times a weeks I use them after a long day to relax.

Got these out of curiosity and I've been extremely happy with the product. I play a few sports and my legs take a beating. These helped way more than I was expecting. A little on the expensive side, but if you need a recovery tool that works, this is it!

Excellent product. I purchased a cheaper brand elsewhere (A) and they were junk so I returned them. Reviewers all recommended these even though they are a bit pricey. With the Total Tech membership I received $100 off the price. I’m so glad I purchased them. I use them daily in the AM & PM. The absolute best in the business for sports recovery! I purchased these at the BB in Georgia because they are rarely in stock in NC. I am so glad that I made the purchase and I appreciate the fact that Normatec makes these available. They are the right size, many options to target the areas of the leg and they give the right amount of compression from low to high.

I first tried these at my gym's recovery center. After one use I was hooked! I started looking around on the web and found that Best Buy sold these and that one of my local Best buys had one in stock! These are somewhat expensive so I bought these for reward after finishing a 280 mile competition I entered & completed in April. It's the perfect recovery after a nice workout on the treadmill! Now that I have my own set at home I also use them just before I go to sleep and then again in the morning just before I go to the gym when I have time! They would be perfect recovery therapy for anyone who is a long distance runner/walker or is on their feet a lot. I just ordered the travel bag for them and plan to take them with me when I visit my folks and let my mother try them who suffers from neuropathy and see if they would benefit her!
