The Hyperice Venom 2, Is just what I needed for my Sciatic and occasional low back pain. The band fit me and my wife perfectly. (adjustable to about 50 inches) The wife also tried the venom for her leg cramps. I fully charged the unit and wrapped it on her leg and the heat setting of one was enough for her. It was fully heated in about 10-15 seconds. There are 3 levels of massaging. Level one, is just straight massage, level two is pulsating and three is random. My wife's legs felt better after about 15 minutes of heat and massage. I tried this after my sciatic was giving me issues after some heavy lifting. Probably strained muscles too. I left it on for about an hour with level three massage, and level two heat. (almost too much) My muscles were able to relax enough I could go about the rest of my day without noticeable issues. Granted it still hurt but wasn't as bad. The band can adjust to many size or be used on multiple body areas. The charge lasts a long time and recharges quickly. The belt weighs about 2lbs. The velcro type attachment is more than strong enough to hold when using for walking around, or going about your day to day duties at your desk. The massager is fairly quiet, and shouldn't bother anyone around you as long as there is some type of background noise also. I like this ability and that I am no longer forced to stay in one place with my old plugged in heat pad. The app is a nice addition. I couldn't get it to connect until the phone and device were touching. Once added, It worked as advertised. I was able to set up a routine and length of time, start and stop, as well as changed settings from my phone. The Venom 2 is great for those who have pain issues or those who work out and will use this for recovery. I would recommend this to family and friends

The Hyperice Venom 2 is such an awesome product. With portability in mind, you are no longer tied down to one area restricted to a chair or couch by your power cord. Battery life is excellent! 10/10: I was able to squeeze about 2 3/4 hours worth of massage with it on the lowest settings for heat and massage & about 1 1/2 hours with it on the highest settings for both heat and massage. Charging took just over an hour to become full. Portable: want a massage as you mow the lawn, fold the clothes, wash dishes or take a long drive? The Hyperice Venom 2 has you covered. I took it with me on a 5 hour road trip and it was an absolute treat to be able to loosen my back and shoulders on a long drive! Durability: I wouldn’t recommend using it in situations where you’re going to be sweating a bunch. I wipe mine down after use with a towel and spray it lightly with some disinfectant spray. Travel friendly: the Hyperice Venom 2 is TSA approved for carry on… who wouldn’t like a heated massage on a long flight? It is definitely worth the money to invest in this little gem!

The Hyperice - Venom 2 Back – Black is the perfect device for me, because I do have lower back pain on the right and left sides. Downloading the Hyperice app is the best way to take advantage of all the benefits available for receiving the full therapeutic relief possible. I can pick routines to perform wearing the Hyperice - Venom 2 Back – Black that maximize the overall wellness of my damaged back. A Firmware update automatically popped up and once selected, the app updated and I was able to access remote capability. Connecting with my phones Bluetooth allowed me to control the Hyperice - Venom 2 Back – Black from the app. The three levels of heat are more than enough to loosen any tightened back muscles. The three massage vibration patterns can be a long continued pattern or smaller bursts patterns. After a session wearing the Hyperice - Venom 2 Back – Black, I feel relief from my tightened back. Health apps Strava and Garmin can be connected with the Hyperice - Venom 2 Back – Black to maximize a persons’ overall health. I will wear the Hyperice - Venom 2 Back – Black every day, to help my lower back feel wellness.

The Hyperice Venom 2 is a top of line device for the alleviation of back pain. As it says in the product description, it is a combination heat pad and vibration massager. It comes with a quick start guide and a 18V charger. The back pad has three levels of heat and three different vibration patterns. You can set any combination of heat levels and vibration patterns with a controller on the front of the pad, or through the Hyperice app, using the Bluetooth connection on your phone. You can also set a timer and see the remaining battery level through the app. The battery life seems to be good. I have used it for about a week now and I have not had to recharge it after the initial charge. The pad is easy to put on and is comfortable to wear. It is quick to heat up. It gets pretty warm on the highest setting. I will generally start out on the highest heat level and then back it down to the middle level after a few minutes. I workout a few times a week and it has definitely helped with the lower back soreness after the workouts.

Being someone with previous back injury, you usually know that it's just a matter of time before you throw your back out again. Did this while plucking an eyebrow a few months ago, it was just awful. This massager acts very similar to the ones used at chiropractic offices, but much less powerful. Lack of power is my biggest gripe with this unit. There are 3 heat settings (low, medium, high) and 3 different setting for the massage portion. Nothing really stuck out using each of the settings. I had used this massager recently after suffering a back sprain. I used this for 2 days and felt much better. My back instantly felt less tense after using this a few times. It works great on quads and hamstrings as well. I wish it worked better for shoulders but that's probably why they have a smaller unit available for purchase. I'd recommend this to anyone that has regular/semi regular back pain. It's as simple as wearing this thing like a back brace. Easy to use at home but also at the office if you prefer that type of thing. Very happy with this product, just wish there were a few more settings.

Was very pleased to receive the Hyperice Venon 2 Bluetooth belt brace as I had suddenly developed bad back pain and was hoping it would help. It comes with a great charger and that's one of the first things you want to do of course. After that I then loaded up the Hyperice App and made a free account. No credit card needed. You can connect 3 different health apps on your phone - Strava, Garmin or the Apple Health. Since I have an Apple iPhone I chose Apple Health of course. The app will ask you a series of optional questions such as your height, weight, age, etc. You tell the app which Hyperice device you own and they then offer you routines for working out while wearing it. You connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and it then becomes a remote with tons of information for you. You do NOT need to connect this to your phone to use however and in all honesty after testing out the various things the phone app does I simply put it around me now. It uses a velcro-type wrap closure and the controls work perfectly from the attached control box which is on the right side of me. That box does everything I need it to - controlling the heat or vibration levels which is my main use for the belt. This is really handy for those folks that do not have a cell phone - you can still benefit from wearing it. There are 3 heat levels and you will note 3 white lighted dots to the left of power button with 1 being low heat, 2 medium and 3 high. The vibration has Steady, Intermittent and Pattern or Off for selections on the right side. If you wish to use the app it will help you control things like battery life, routine times and other things, depending on how you plan on using it. Another really nice thing is you get a FREE one-on-one assessment with a dedicated clinician. They will explain how to use your product, optimize your device based on your needs and assess with real-time movement capture. That is a wonderful feature that most companies would charge you for. I was very impressed by it. I have been wearing my Venom 2 Back daily and as I have 2 small umbilical hernias I find I can now do more exercising/movements when wearing my belt without the pain if I wear just a plain medical binder. Definitely holds my lower abs in place comfortably and the heat is such a bonus - keeps my pain away! It heats up lightening fast too. You wrap it around you, press the power button then set your level of heat desired and within seconds, and I mean just a few seconds, it is heated and you are already feeling relief. I love being able to walk around anywhere with it on and be getting heated help. No more wires with a heating pad and sitting or lying in one spot. It does hold a charge for a fairly long time, depending on what you're using it for. The vibration uses the most energy of course. There is a little light on the control box that will show you if the battery is getting low. It starts to turn yellow instead of green like when fully charged. It charges fast though so you don't have to be without it very long. You'll see a blinking light when it is charging and that stops when it's ready to go again. The Hyperice Venom 2 belt has made all the difference in my comfort level and just plain feeling great after wearing. I absolutely couldn't be without it now! A highly recommended purchase by a very grateful user!

I gave this to my husband for Christmas and he loves it. He is constantly wearing it or charging it. He loves the heat it gives. He says the only downside is the length of battery is not long enough. If you were able to have two batteries, so one can be charged at all times, he would be even happier. Unless, the charge in the wrap was made to last longer. Still, great help for chronic back pain.

For a runner with some back/glute issues, this thing comes in handy. THE GOOD ~ Multiple heat settings ~ Several vibration settings ~ Fits me well ~ Cordless ~ Easy to charge THE BAD ~ Might run a little small ~ Only stays on 15 minutes (you can restart it) ~ Kind of weak massage THE MEH (Could go either way) ~ Might run a little small ~ Only stays on 15 minutes (you can restart it) ~ Only 3 vibration settings OVERALL I run and workout 6-7 days a week. I have some back issues and currently have strained a glute. I definitely wanted to try this because of the active life I lead. After charging it, I popped it on and tried it out. It has four heat settings, Off, low, medium and high. The low and medium feel good. The high is definitely hot. I think the top two settings had my back sweating some. LOL. Like the heat, there are 4 settings for massage, with one being OFF. The other three are steady, and 2 different buzz patterns. To be honest, while the vibration feels decent, it is actually very weak. I'm not sure how they could keep the design as is and have a bit more forceful thump to it that would work for everyone. I think I would rather have 2 buzz patterns with high and low versions. But that's just my personal choice. I was a bit disappointed by that aspect. Despite that, the heat and even the little vibration feels good when I put it on my lower back and glute. It did seem to help with the tightness. Regarding SIZE: I have an athletic build. I'm 6'3" with a 30-32" waist with flat abs. This fits me well. Trying to put it on bigger people, it got tight. I think any man or person with a belly that measures over 42" at the widest part may not be able to get this to stay on. All in all, I really like this, though I think it could use some improvements, including an extender (or optional extender) for larger people. THE BIG QUESTION Would I recommend this to someone I know? Yes, I would. However, I would keep in mind the size limitation and think about the other people in their household who might want to use it. I also would recommend it to someone who is looking more for heat and a stimulating vibration instead of a massage.

If I were a doctor, this would be exactly what the doctor ordered LOL. Since I'm renovating my bathroom and lifting 50lb bags of mortar and drywall sheets, my back has been screaming. Using the Venom has helped ease the pain. Unwrapping: It comes neatly packaged in a biodegradable box with a charger that can be used in different countries using included plugs and instructions. The instructions have info on an app that can be downloaded and although I did I don't really have a use for it. The first thing I noticed was that the pad is heavy, like a weighted blanket and not a flimsy piece of material. Using: Nothing about this was rocket science. I used the charger to charge it up via the port under the control module. After fully charge I wrapped securely around my back and waist first in front with the Velcro strap attached to the flap, and then to cinch it even tighter if you choose to there is a second smaller strap on the back for tighter compression. Turning it on by the little attached control module is with an on/off, a heat and a massage button. Both can be used together or independently. The heat is low, med, high it is advised if you use it on bare skin to keep it on low. I put it over my sweat shirt on high and had to turn it to medium. The massage is either a constant vibrate, a ..._ ..._ rhythmic vibrate, or a quick off on like _ _ _ vibrate. Final thought: Will this help cure any chronic problems, no bit it may help. And added bonus is because the back panel is aprx. 12" wide it pretty much forces you into good posture.

A nice addition to the Hyperice line of products

As a combination heating pad and massaging tool I like what Hyperice has done with the Venom 2. What I see little value in is that this Venom 2 connects via Bluetooth back to your mobile phone. If you own other Hyperice products like the Hypervolt 2 massage devices, having the Venom 2 show up the app you already use could be of value and massage devices tend to have routines to follow for maximum results, but for owners of just the heating pad the only value-add to installing the mobile app is to be able to set the duration of the massage. By moving the timer function to the mobile app Hyperice avoids additional buttons/knobs/controls directly on the device but the only two functions the devices does - provide heat at 3 intensity levels and choose 1 of 3 massage methods are all controlled via physical button on the belt. As to duration, the mobile app lets you define a timer than starts and stops the Venom 2 when the time is up, but I could just as easily start the session from the heating pad and then use a clock to know when my 10 minutes are up. Perhaps the only real benefit of having this integration is that like any other electronic device these days, the moment I connected the Venom 2 to my phone app there was a firmware update available. There were no release notes or indication why the update was necessary or what benefit I would see from installing it but it was a quick and simple update. As to the fit/function/experience of the Venom 2, It’s got enough velcro to wrap tightly around a variety of body types. I’m rounder at the waist than my wife, and our teenage boy is thin-as-a-nail and all three of us were able to easily adjust the Venom 2 to fit each of us snugly. I enjoyed the medium heat setting on my lower back which always aches from me pushing myself too hard on sprint work. My wife loves the nuclear heat option (aka level 3). Our teenager said the vibration options other than steady were weird. If you currently own and use other products from Hyperice then the Venom 2 fits well within the rest of the Hyperice eco-system of products and I would recommend it.

I sit a lot, so having a product that not only heats my back and also massages is huge. I use the Venom 2 Back a couple hours a day and I notice the difference in my back soreness. It light and I can still play with my kids while I'm wearing it. Can't recommend this enough for anyone who has to sit in front of a computer all day!

I was a little skeptical about a battery operated heat and massage wrap but I gotta say the Hyperice Venom 2 has won me over. The first time I used the wrap I was immediately surprised by how hot the pad gets. Level one of three is likely enough for most people. It also gets to temperature quickly, less than 10 seconds, and covers the entire width of my back. Not only is the heat output substantial but the massage functions are surprisingly strong as well. There are three massage settings; constant, intermittent pulse, and an escalating pulse. I tend to alternate between setting one and three mostly. The band itself is very comfortable and widely adjustable. I took the Venom 2 to work with me for my coworkers to try and it fit everyone from 160 to 280 pounds. Everyone's initial reaction was generally the same as mine and no one had anything bad to say. I've used this everyday since I got it and I absolutely love it. It's a big perk that I can still do light activity and move around the house while getting a good amount of back relief. Highly recommend it.

I have chronic lower back pain and I'm constantly looking for new products to try and tools to add to my belt for when the pain comes back around. This is my second Hyperice product and overall I'm really happy with this brand. I love how adjustable the band is. It fits around my waist perfectly. You can choose from 3 different heat settings and 3 different vibration settings. It heats up really fast and if you aren't wearing a layer of clothing between the band and your skin, you could burn yourself probably. It's easy to switch between the 3 settings though, with just the push of a button on the front of the band. It's easy to turn on and off and charge from that area as well. My biggest "pro" is that it's basically a portable heating pad that vibrates. I like that I can continue doing things as I use it and it does seem to help with muscle pain, short term. It calms my muscles down enough. My biggest "con" is that I wish the vibrations were more intense and the battery lasted a little longer between uses. But that's more of a personal preference if any. I'm sure the battery is fine for a normal use. Like other Hypervice products, there is an app that pairs with the band. I haven't used it yet, but I plan on trying it on. I imagine that will be handy for setting usage lengths and changing the settings.

I'm a Hyperice customer for LIFE!!! I'm shocked to see any negative reviews about their customer service because they have always responded promptly to any inquiries I've emailed. Plus, they stand behind their products and replace your device if it stops working. Our first device was purchased in 2022 and now my family has three devices: a Venom 2 Leg, Venom 2 Back and a Hypervolt. As an active family, we use all the devices regularly and they have stood the test of time. I'm a Lifetime Gym member, and Hyperice has their full line of products available for use at this luxury facility. To me this is just another testament to the quality of the Hyperice brand and their products. I highly recommend investing in products by this brand!!
