Vibration is quite strong, but it becomes useless when you seat on top of it. Another gimmick technology.

Since I've experienced back problems for many years, I've used a styrofoam roller to help stretch my back. It was helpful as I always felt better after I used it. When I saw the HyperIce - Vyper 2.0 Vibrating Fitness Roller, it looked interesting and I decided to try it. Although the price is more than I what most people probably want to pay, the roller is clearly made with quality materials. It's durable and the quality of the foam material is outstanding. Understanding how to use it was easy and intuitive. I first tried it on the low setting. It took some getting used to as even on the low setting, it really gives you a shake. I started with a few minutes then took a break and tried it again. I was pleasantly surprised on how much it helped to relax my back muscles. I tried it on my thighs and calves and had similarly good results. My wife tried it as well and it has soon become a regular part of her routine. This is a quality device. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend it to help relax your tension points. The only problem I had with it is the marketing materials. All of the images show the product being used by beautiful/handsome Millennials. I believe the product can be beneficial for people of most age groups so they should use other demographics in their brochure and product images.

Best physical therapy device I have ever used. Very powerful on highest setting which is great for loosening up stiff muscles. I also use it to loosen up legs before track practice which makes warm-up time shorter and more efficient. Battery lasts a long time on single charge. This is very helpful for the back, neck, legs, shoulders, etc. The vibrations are more intense than I expected, so it’s nice to start out at level one and gradually go to the next level. Still haven’t needed to even use level 3. I have found I’m able to sink into the roller on those tender areas like the quads bc the vibration helps to relax the muscle or distract from the pain.

My wife and I had been looking for something like this for a while to help with warming up and, more importantly, helping with easing our tired muscles after a good, long workout. So when I saw the Hyperice I was intrigued and then after reading further reviews I decided to go ahead and get it and hope that it worked as advertised. When I first received the Hyperice I thought I had mistakenly got a speaker! I had seen it online prior to ordering but seeing it in person it still really reminded me of a large speaker. Our first opportunity to use it meant we had to charge it. It said it required a 12 hour charge right out of the gate but it didn't look like it needed it. We charged it overnight anyways. Using the Hyperice for the first time was pretty intense. We had to use the enclosed instructions to look to see how we should be using it and seeing if we were using it right. For the first few days we just used it on the lowest setting before finally graduating to the medium setting. I don't think we'll be using the highest anytime soon but it's nice to know there's another level if we want to go up. Now how does it do? For warming up it does get the blood flowing and my wife and I both liked it for that purpose. But the best part really is soothing and massaging your tired muscles, like calves, when you're done. My wife complained a little that the thing moved around due to the intense vibrations but I didn't really have too much of a problem and I think she'll get used to it. It has worked extremely well to give us some help warming up and a post-workout relief and for that reason I'd highly recommend. The cons are, of course as mentioned price, it's a bit loud and can, if you don't control it, move around a bit much on the floor.
