I went into Best Buy on 4/7/24 looking for a cable to use with my Wii to a smart TV. The sales associate indicated they didn’t have anything at the store in Wausau, WI. He showed me a picture of the cable I needed and it was ordered. It was delivered 4/10/24. I tried every way to hook up my Wii but it would not work. I then did my own research and found a Wii converter on Amazon for $10.00. It arrived and worked. I then drove the cable back to Best Buy on 4/26/24 and was told I couldn’t return it as I was a day late. Give me a break. I now know why I don’t shop at Best Buy. I’m out $31.64 and also my time.

HDMI input for snes/n64/gamecube. Not used on the wii, picture enhancement of game is amazing. Being able to plug my old retro consoles into new tv hdmi input is handy and no more big box clunky tv needed. Can actually swap it between 3 different nintendo consoles. Extremely happy with my purchase, it is the second one i have bought.

I got this to be able to play my GameCube on my tv without having to use an RCA cable-to-hdmi switch. After though have to say it didn't make much of a difference. While I wasn't expecting obvious graphical upgrade the graphical and color fidelity was a mixed bag. While color was somewhat better the line scanning was still dubious and the somewhat fuzzy display I had earlier with the previously mentioned hookup was pretty much the same. At the end if you wer like me and used the RCA-to-HDMI switch adapter then just stick with that as this product isn't much a of an improvement from how you already have it.
