Perfect TKL Mechanical Keyboard for gaming!

Bought the keyboard as part of my gaming computer build. I find no need for a 10 digit keypad and the extra room it takes up on the desktop when gaming. Don't get me wrong, I love a 10 digit keypad for entering numbers in say excel or whatever but I have a different keyboard I use for that on a different computer. I'm not on the RGB bandwagon so I don't see the red only color palette as a problem. You still have different lighting profiles that change the way the light behaves & you can customize that if you want which enough flexibility for me. I got the Cherry MX Reds for the linear/non click feel, and ability to press a key multiple times without having to release pass the click point to have the key accurately register the consecutive click. This makes looting quickly in games feel very accurate and smooth. Still a great sounding keyboard even though it does not have the click/bump of a Cherry brown/blue. Great TKL mechanical keyboard with a solid heft & feel to it. Buy it instead of the Logitech G Pro if you're looking at the two, the FPS Pro has real Cherry MX while the Logitech has Romer-Gs, AND costs more money.

I have been in the world of plastic keyboards and very cheap ones for quite a while now, but, since the one I had was starting to get boring, I decided to pick up a new one. This one caught my eye for the price, and size. I almost always go for a full sized keyboard, but, to be honest, I do not use the 10 key layout at all. So, based on that, I thought that I would try out this keyboard to see if I was going to miss it or not. I am not missing it, and the cherry keys are actually a night and day experience compared to the plastic keyboards, they suck at giving real feedback when you type, this one is easy to figure out when you miss press a key, the plastic keys felt all the same, and this one gives you a completely different feeling. Only color is Red, not RGB, but, if you for some reason prefer a RGB keyboard, go and get one with cherry keys.

If you’re looking for an entry level gaming keyboard with backlighting, this is a good choice. I’ve been using it for a little over a month now to play a variety of games ranging from FPS to RPG and I have had no real issues with it so far. It is compact so you should be able to fit it on most desks without issue and the keys are spaced out pretty well. There is a key to disable the windows key which is a nice touch in a gaming keyboard so you don’t day fjnfer out of your game. The only gripes I have is the actual activation of the keys themselves happens very high up so it is easy to miss key and there seems to be a bit of ghosting resulting in some erroneous esc button presses. Those issues are really not gamebreaking whatsoever and I would buy again.

PROS: -At the price point I bought this at ($79.99), it's a bargain -Cherry MX Red switches are a joy -Top part of the keyboard is polished sheet metal -the LED brightness is satisfying -Portable -TenKeyLess! CONS: -It's a bare bones mechanical keyboard -no wrist rest attachment -LED color is only one color: RED -with an exception of the top base of this keyboard, the entire thing is made out of cheap plastic -This thing came with no bag or case to put this away for portability

Amazing keyboard for the price. It feels very premium and is compact. My fingers get tired easy and this keyboard helped tons with that. It is very sensitive which may be a positive or a negative to some. also it is a bit heavy for its size but its bace is made from metal so what do you expect. overall very happy with my purchase. I will use this until it breaks which is likely a very long time.

This keyboard is excellent. The fact that it's tenkeyless was the main selling point for me, as my previous Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 was a behemoth on my relatively small desk. This keyboard is very satisfying to both game and type on, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a budget (relative to other gaming keyboards) keyboard.

Does Not Work With MAC OS

I love this keyboard, but when i use this keyboard on mac os, keys randomly stop working. It kills me, and I have to return it and get logitech g pro for mac support. It actually looses customers for not supporting Mac OS, shame what a good product but I can't use it. I use egpu on windows to play games. a keyboard with both mac and windows support is must to be honest

This keyboard definitely met my expectations with it's solid build quality and good looks!. The cherry red switches are smooth and consistent throughout the keyboard (no key feels different from the other except for the different sized keys.) Keyboard is very responsive and great for FPS games leaving much needed space for the mouse.

For me, i don't usually use the keypad on the keyboard so i was looking for something smaller for my desk. This keyboard built quality is just amazing, plus the keys and effects on it are everything you can expect from a high end product. If your looking for something smaller, this is the way to go

This is a great starter keyboard for the new PC gamer. It’s decently priced and works well for gaming. We actually ended up buying another keyboard without the numerical keys on the right to save room on our desk with the mouse. We gave this keyboard to our daughter for when she wants to get on her PC and game.

It is a very good gaming keyboard for it's price. The Cherry MX switches feel nice and smooth when clicked. The keys aren't very loud which is a good thing. I like the compact model it has. It is great for both gaming and typing in general. A thumbs up for HyperX products!

This keyboard is sturdy and compact. I’m quite happy with the quality for the price. The keys don’t seem a clicks as some mechanical keyboards, so if you want that intense click, look elsewhere. It’s not of a glidey kind of click. The red backlighting is a nice touch.

For the amount of money you pay, you get a pretty solid keyboard with reasonably fast switches (assuming you get the mx reds). Initially it may take a brief adjustment period to get used to the key layout if you use these for typing as opposed to strict gaming.

I was looking for a small footprint keyboard. This one is small footprint but the keys are long throw and I just couldn't get used to it. I tried it for about 2 weeks and then returned it. I clicked recommend - but only if you like very log throw keys.

This keyboard works as advertised. I travel for work and this 10keyless keyboard works well. The detachable USB cable and short keyboard lets it travel well. Not a fan of the Cherry Red MX switches...

This is a good gaming keyboard with cherry red mechanicals. The problem is that the keys get really sticky only after a few months of use. I had to replace a few keys already.

Keyboard Seemed fine - I just didn't like long throw keys. I tried to get used to typing with it for a week and just couldn't get used to it. I'm going to recommend it to those who want long throw keys on a compact keyboard.

you lose the number pad on the right of the keyboard but gain so much extra space on your desk. The keys are smooth and not super loud. easy to travel with since it has a usb cord for power.

Great sound and overall keyboard. Great for beginners and pro players. It doesn’t come with a Key Puller but the keys can detach and attach again.
