Grate USB headset for PC love it better then my turtle beach pro I had before.

Sound quality is fantastic, mic clarity is also great. Mic volume (output) is a bit on the weaker side but not enough to make me avoid buying this again if I needed to.

I bought this headset as a replacement for my Razer Kraken's that are starting to fall apart, and ended up returning it. I'm giving it 2 stars because it was comfortable (the main reason I really wanted to replace the Krakens, they feel very stiff.) However, its functionality as a headset was not up to par. The main issue, and also a fault in its main purpose of being a headset, was the microphone just simply did not adequately work. At a normal place for me to adjust the mic, Windows was registering it at a 2% input volume. At the same distant, the Kraken always registered at 100%. With the mic actually in my mouth, I could only get it up to a 50% volume. Better, and actually audible to my friends, but not exactly the most comfortable position for a mic. The other main issue I had, and the second most important thing for a headset, was the sound. It was already relatively quieter than other headphones / headsets that I was already using, but the quality, especially when listening to music, was just very lack luster. One of the reasons I specifically went with a Cloud headset was they were supposed to be considered to have actually decent audio for a headset. But to put into perspective, my $9 Panasonic Ergofits honestly have more bass than this headset did, even with the sliders adjusted for "most bass". I mean, I literally could not feel any bass at all. And for the final nail in the hammer, I contacted HyperX to try to get support before returning, and it was unsuccessful. Despite an expectation of 1 day response, it took almost a week to even get a response (which didn't even happen until after I returned them because I was on my last day to return), and the response was a generic "Did you try them with a another computer?".

Bought this for use with my PS5 and because of the usb connection. To be fair the headset sound good, but the problem comes with the dongle. The dongle controls suck and the 7.1 audio button creates issues with with the ps5 3d audio. The dongle also makes the mic output terrible low on the ps5, my friends could barely hear my voice even when maxing out the mic volume setting on the ps5. The dongle also resets its inline audio mixing when the console is tuned off and on. Also there is no sidetone on this headset.

You get what you pay for with this headset, although I think it sounds better for gaming without the 7.1 surround sound activated for whatever reason, and I can hear sounds I've never been able to hear before like birds chirping in the background

i had the hyper x clouds 2 that lasted me about 4 years until the braided cable had issues but these have a detachable cable which makes things a lot better for durability. best headset for this price by far. if you are gaming dont look elsewhere.

Excellent headset worth the money forge upgrade. I’ve had a Hyper X Cloud 2 for a few years and with it going out I decided to get a new headset and am even more impressed with this one. I would highly recommend this headset to anyone.

Solid headset. Sometimes for some unknown reason it has this buzzing noise whenever under extreme load however. Since it is only a once in a while thing, it did not bother me much.

My son uses these headphones for gaming. He likes the mixer gadget attached to these headphones to adjust volume and sound, and the mic attachment for ease of speaking during gaming bouts.

I love how these feel when you put them on. Very durable but at the same time feel light. Only thing I would complain about is the microphone. I wish it picked up my voice a little louder.

Great headset, only downfall is the wire. I use this daily form all my conference calls and people say they hear me very clearly and I have had no issues with the headset. Easy to setup and the sound is great!

These headphones sound great. My friends say the microphone is very clear. The 7.1 Surround Sound is good and the mixer works well too. No problems so far. Great buy for the money.

Worked well during Zoom session with King County court. Comfortable, and excludes extraneous ambient noise well. I use to listen to other videos and music.

Works great on my Xbox One S. It's very comfy! I would recommend them! I actually use the Chat cable that came with my older HyperX Alphas, so that use them in game on my Xbox One S without any issues!

Great sound and ease of use! No problems at all so far. I had a pair of these before that were just a step down and they lasted several years with no problems, loved them. So far these are even better.

The surround sound on thus headset sounds insane when i first put it on i felt like someone was behind me talking to me haha. Also packaging is very nice. When i first put the headset on i couldn’t bear anything irl. would recommend

High quality headset with anything but a PS4, due to all the 7.1 features, mute functions, chat and game audio mixers ALL being maintained in a cord you can't use with a PS4. You must plug this headset straight into the controller and lose major volume and functionality after that

Purchased this pair as an upgrade to my Cloud 2 headset which I used for 4 years and loved. When I plugged in the headset and ran a firmware update, I was disappointed to find that the audio quality was not what I had hoped for and sounded worse than my old headset. Another gripe is that the headset was heavier and less comfortable than the Cloud 2. Ended up returning and might buy a new Cloud 2 headset soon.

Muppets. Niece said this was the best thing ever. It not only fits her but she has better microphone control, it bends . Great noise blocking. Great with friends. She gave a double thumbs up. She hooked the whole thing up.
