Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite being branded as having great bass this headset does not deliver, listening to music and watching movies is underwhelming. The “bass sliders” have no effect on sound. I received them as a gift to be primarily used for video chat so music is not my priority but it is a big disappointment. It includes cloth ear pads to swap out, but the leather pads that come already installed are about 1/2” wider, and I have not been able to stretch the cloth pad over the frame successfully. They are very comfortable and have a great design that feels very durable, and are comfortable after a couple hours of continuous wear (this is perhaps the only saving grace). The virtual surround sound is effective and works well despite being a disappointment in bass range. I was planning on exchanging for something else, but based on reviews other options for similar prices are about the same quality.

Posted .Hi! Correct. The Cloud Alpha S was designed to be used for PC gaming. It is not compatible with the Xbox One consoles except via 3.5mm directly with the controller.
