Best upgrade I've had. It is definitely a great headset. I am not picky and not even a professional gamer, but there shouldn't be no complaints unless it is truly defective. The product is excellent.

The HyperX series of headphones is one of the most reliable and comfortable headphones on the market. It's lightweight extra cushions and extra features such as bass boost and chat mixing plus 7.1 surround sound on a USB that doesn't require a large dongle is one of the best buys for the price on the market and they last forever with their steel construction. I would recommend to anyone! This will be the third pair of HyperX earphones that I have purchased for gaming.

the 7.1 Surround Sound system is a game-changer. when you don't use the 7.1 Surround system you noticed a big drop in sound quality, built when you have it plugged in is great for music and gaming

My very first headphone since like forever. My friend recommended this to me saying had good sound, mic, and blocking outside noise. Good watching video and playing video game nothing wrong so far.

Have been a hyperx headset consumer for years nowand after upgrading from the cloud alpha after 2 years of use I absolutely love these. The sound is great. Love using the 7.1 for certain games and movies/shows. The ear cups are a bit different from the regular alphas but I find the them more comfortable for me because I wear glasses. Over all definitely a good purchase and hyperX is always having deals so look out that as well

My Cheap headset quick working so needed something to continue gaming. Decided to spend a little more and get these. They are incredible. Really change the gaming experience for Escape from Tarkov and Counter Strike. I love the bass ports. Turn them on for music and they sound great. If you game, listen to music, or watch videos you will love these.

My review is primarily based on my warzone PC playing experience. That being said, if you primarily play Warzone, there is no headset that provides the amount of footstep volume as this. I tried current gen ASTRO TR40 w/ mixamp and HyperX Cloud Orbit S which are both $150 more and in Warzone, not as good in regards to footsteps. The footstep audio these provide at distance surpass both of the previously mentioned headphones. To make it even better I highly suggest spending the extra $15 (lifetime?) for the Dolby Atmos subscription as I think it helped clear up a lot of the sound quality issues that people complained about. Prior to using the atmos service, I also found that some of the audio was trash in game and music was terrible. I feel the atmos app solved that and can also provide an extra EQ for you to play with. WZ audio setting: Boost High (Boost low is worth trying too) Headphone setting: 7.1 on (try both and use what you prefer) Also, these usually go on Sale for $100 and sometimes $90, so if you can wait, definitely wait.

This is the most comfortable headset that I have owned, and I wear it for several hours per day. The microphone is good and tends not to pick up ambient sounds, like my 5-year-old shouting in the background while I am on Zoom meetings. The included USB sound card does improve the sound quality when using it on a PC, but it sounds just fine when connecting directly to a phone using the 3.5mm jack.

Comfortable to wear for long times, sounds great without the 7.1 mode on. The 7.1 mode sounds awful, to be honest. The only thing to note is that the microphone is not monitored through the headphones, in other words, you can't hear yourself while listening and it makes you want to shout when you're listening to something loud. Aside from that, very happy.

These are comfortable headphones with good sound and a good price.

This is a well built gaming headset. I purchased this headset to use with my PS4 Pro. I wanted a headset with 7.1 surround sound, since I play multiple shooter games so I wanted to be able to hear what’s around me and where. This is not a plug and play headset, I had to contact hyperX support to download firmware so I could use the headset with my PS4. That was a little frustrating. I worked through the process and no problems since. I wanted a headset where I could control game sound and game chat sound independently from each other. So, this is why I chose this headset, 7.1 surround and independent game/chat volumes. I have been severely disappointed with the separation of volumes. I wasn’t really able to separate the volumes to a noticeable level. I don’t feel that the cost of this headset is worth what you are getting in return. For a few more dollars I was able to get a better headset. Turtle Beach Stealth 700, better separation of volumes for those with a more serious approach to gaming. Best wishes.

The sound quality is fantastic and the headset itself is comfy to wear! I like that you can switch the leather ear muffs out for cloth. (Ear sweat is no bueno) I'm a lady with glasses so this set needed to fit comfortably with my glasses and any hair clips I wear. The cord is really long but I like how the volume adjuster has a clip on it so I can keep it out of the way. Worth the price!

Great comfort perfect sounds quality removable mic is a plus

I used to have a HyperX headset until I sat on them. I went from that to a Razer. Those feel cheap. These do not. They are sturdy and have excellent sound. I hear things I did not withe the Razer. It is comfortable and does not feel heavy on my head. Pretty good at noise cancellation on the outside as well with the fit on the ears and head. I would recommend you pick one up today.

Good headset, you need to update the sound card on your PC to make it work on ps4. I returned this headset for the Cloud Flight.
