I previously owned the cloud 2 and those were nice and comfy but lacked clarity. These alpha s sound very good and have nice clarity and i can pinpoint where footsteps are and i hear things i couldn't before. I also used arctis 7 for about a year and still these are superior to those as well.. wont disappoint at this price point

Overall, the build quality of this headphone is top notch. It feels comfortable on my head, not much clamping force or ear force . But the software side and the USB sound card need more support than what it is right now. It doesn't have a software to control the EQ or display the percentage between chat and gaming control. The 7.1 button on the sound card is basically a stored EQ, so when you enable it, it gives you a different eq setting to the 2.1 one. There are currently 2 eq setting you can update download from their website for different scenario usage, but it's just dumb to flash the headsets each time you switch between game, music or movie. The sound quality when enable 7.1 is pretty good when listening to music and play fps games, but when I played forza horizon4, it was horrible, and probably due to the tuning of the eq. This headset will beat other competitors in the market if it has a software support that let the user to adjust the eq themselves.

After recently breaking my old headset, I decided to buy this one, and without a shadow of a doubt I can say it was completely worth it! The mic quality is very good, and I’m no audiophile, but it sounded absolutely fantastic. The only downside is that the cable is a bit too short, but other than that, great purchase!

I gave these to my granddaughter. We had purchased a different set from another manufacturer. She did not like them. We returned them, and she chose the HyperX. She loves them. She uses them to play games (and for school). She said the cancelling feature was excellent, and the fact that she can change the bass was a plus. We are happy with this purchase.

Can actually hear better and can turn it up and down with ease. Only problem is sometimes it's too loud and gets tangled.

My daughter lives in these. She says they are super comfortable. They must work well for noise cancelling because she can never hear me when I call her. She will occasionally leave one ear just to the side of her ear if she is expecting me to call. The mic works great and she plays a lot of online games with her friends so that is a must.

Huge upgrade going from a cheap G432 logitech gaming headset. for modest price of 90 bucks (Price matching on sales from another site) you can definitely feel the premium quality and you know none of the part would easily break. would definitely recommend spending extra to buy 100ish dollar gaming headset over a cheap one.

Comfort is great, sound is amazing...but its about 1/2 the volume as orginal hyper x's that I was going to replace. Ended up putting them on a secondary computer as I couldn't deal with lower volume when listening to music, gaming is fine.

Bought this for my kiddo and he absolutely loves it! He says they are super comfortable and the audio is great. He said they are loud and they do a wonderful job canceling out the noise around him. The only bummer is he is a little soft spoken so he has to have the microphone pretty much pressed up against his mouth for people to hear him

Thoroughly enjoy this headset. High quality sound for the price and they're not exceedingly heavy on the head. Ear cups are comfortable and it comes with two sets to accommodate smaller ears. The cable is braided and of around eight feet Comes with a USB to 3.5mm adapter that includes a small mixer on the USB side. Microphone is detachable and bendable to preference.

Great headset. I have a smaller head so some headsets don't feel great after a while. These are super comfortable and sound great. I switched from one of the mid-range steel series (which are great) but the sound profile was noticeably better. The only thing I wish it had was a better way to mute when using it on the xbox.

Got it on sale at $99 (same price as HyperX Cloud II). I upgraded to these from the original HyperX Cloud which was finally starting to fall apart at the headband from use. Personally I've found the 7.1 surround to be more of a detriment then a help. While I do use the sound card, usually I just plug in the headphones directly through aux without the card. It's not a terrible sound though I do find the bass lacking. The original HyperX Clouds had better bass. I'm hopeful the sound card can help by saving some sound adjustments to help with the bass a bit. I also find these slightly more snug and makes it a tad more warm around my ears. Not uncomfortable though. These do live up to the HyperX Cloud standard of comfort, wear these the majority of the day and they never get uncomfortable. I personally also like the way they look. Haven't tried the mic yet, can't speak to that. They are a solid headset, but I would say from other reviews to get the HyperX Cloud IIs if bass is super important to you. I'm still a bit dissapointed about the bass.

These were a big upgrade on sound quality from my previous set. I use them for playing Warzone. I am not a huge fan of the settings on them and they are somewhat heavy to wear for long gaming sessions.

Would not recommend this if you use mainly a Xbox console. You will not get the full value of the 7.1 surround sound and controls since their is no usb support for the Xbox. Besides that their Real conformable headphones with some nice sound quality.

I was in the market for a Headset to work Remotely. A young man at Best Buy suggested that I get a Gamer Headset. He said they were less expensive than your typical headsets. So, I found these and love them. They really cancel out any surrounding sounds. Mic is amazing. Very comfy too.

Never owned a headset from HyperX, I previously had a SteelSeries Siberia V2 but this takes the cake! 10/10

Bought for metal structure. Previous plastic always broke at swivel. Metal is better and more durable. Overall quality is much better. When I talk with the headphone on I feel like I have my fingers in my ears, they drown out other sounds. I use to have my volume at 100 all the time now with headphones that is way too loud. I am at about 30 now usually. The only problem is alot of people are telling me that the microphone is very quiet.

The sound is fantastic. They come with an extra set of ear muffs that are made of nylon and are super light and breathable. The headphones are incredibly comfortable. I can wear them all day or night without taking them off and I hardly feel as though I'm wearing anything. Would definitely recommend.

The only complaint I have is that if my PC goes to sleep I have to unplug and plug the headset back in or it won’t work at all other than that is a nice headset feels good when playing and sounds nice too
