Great gaming headset, I play sports games and FPS games and it works really well (especially for R6 sound whoring). The audio is still great after 3 ish years, however my mic itself has definitely declined and goes in and out. Will be getting a new one at some point But price wise, best on the market.

I mostly needed a new headset for work calls as I am remote IT Support. My current headset was having all kinds of problems in calls and connected with Bluetooth. MY previous headset didn't have any problems and used a 2.4Ghz USB dongle like this Cloud Alpha. I had read about the insane battery life and thought that would be good for work as well. I also like the design of the microphone. No moving parts to fray cables like headsets I've had in the past. Like the other reviews for this headset I picked up a pair of Wicked Cushions to replace the ear cushions that came with the headset. Definitely worth it! I picked up the cooling gel cushions and while they do still get warm you don't really realize it until you take them off and put them back on again. They definitely increase the comfort of the headset though. Since I mostly use them for calls and listening to audio I can't say how they perform for games. Music sounds great in them though and I can hear my calls crystal clear. Would definitely recommend!

Great Sound, but Comfort & Mic Quality Fall Short

Pros: -Great Sound Quality: The audio reproduction is impressive right out of the box, making it suitable for gaming, movies, and music. -Decent Microphone Performance: The microphone works well for gaming and calls, though newer headsets have better microphone quality. -Reliable Wireless Connectivity: The wireless connection is strong during use, with minimal issues unless you walk far from your desk. -Appears to Have Good Battery Life: While I didn’t test it extensively, it seemed to last a while during use. Cons: -Low Sidetone Volume: The sidetone is very low, and there’s no way to increase it through the Ngenuity software, making it hard to hear oneself while speaking. -Comfort Issues for Larger Ears: While the earpads feel very soft and may be great for smaller ears, they lack sufficient padding and depth for larger ears, leading to discomfort after prolonged wear. Conclusion: The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset excels in sound quality and has reliable wireless connectivity. While it appears to have good battery life, the low sidetone volume and microphone performance are notable drawbacks. Additionally, those with larger ears may find the comfort lacking. If mic quality and comfort are priorities for you, newer headsets may offer better options.

So far so good, have only had the headset for going on a month. Sound is good and defined and the bass is passable for a wireless headset. The hyperx software is simple and intuitive, the battery life and aluminum construction is definitely the selling point for the price. My only complaints are the mic is not as sensitive even with gain upped a couple decibels and the ear cups a tad on the shallow side so the top edge of my ears rub a little on the inside foam but your mileage may vary.

I’ve owned them only for a couple weeks so, my review might not be very good right now, but they work perfectly fine, no trouble connecting, no problem with the mic at all, and the headphones automatically turn off after so long of being on and inactive… overall I think they are great at the moment and I’m quite glad I switched to wireless headphones.

Most comfortable gaming headset i have worn. I finally here the smallest footsteps in call of duty. I am little frustrated with ps5 it wont auto connect and disconnect. Not sure if its a ps5 or headset issue. And i cant hear my own voice through mic boom. Once again not sure if headset issues or ps5.

I bought this headset while it was on sale upgrading from a wireless xbox headset. First the battery on this headset is unrivaled 300 hours hands down beats any headset I ever had. The foam cushion is descent enough that it doesn't tighten around the ears. The frame of the headset is durable yet flexible it actually feels sturdy compared to anything else I ever owned. I had razer, corsair, and xbox and almost all of them had issues with battery life and audio and the wireless distance was horrible. Cloud Alpha worth every dollar!!! Especially when its on sale.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase because they have amazing quality sound for the price, they are loud enough for competitive games/battle royales, and the battery life is impeccable. I have been using them about 3-4 hours a day for a week now and they havent gotten down to 80% yet! They are not the loudest headphones but they definitely still have amazing wuality sound and are not quiet by any means. Absolutely worth the buy!

A little more expensive than I was anticipating, however we’ll worth the price. The entire unit feels like quality material, and battery life is extraordinary. Overall, if you’ve got the extra cash to spend on your peripherals I’d recommend this quality headset.

Great quality and good pricing, using on a daily basis, super confortable, made to last, definitely recommend for everyone! Have tried other brands and this is the best. Thanks, also I have friends that made the same purchase and they agreed, definitely the way to go. The set up with the directions that came with the product was easy to understand and did not take very long to figure out. Keep having great products and great choices for consumers and fair prices, thanks again for having stores with comfortable surroundings and inventory,,,,,,,,,,

Sounds great, voice chat is good. Battery life is god tier. I unplugged it from 100% on 2/17/23, used it to game every night for at least 4 hours. Usually 6 hours or more, and only got the low battery notification on 3/3/23, after which I continued to take for another couple hours without further battery notifications until I plugged it in again before bed. I am currently using it for remote work and gaming now for the last week ( so about 12-14 hours a day) and since recharging it 3/3/2023 it is still only at 40 percent. It is also lightweight and comfortable considering. I have an industrial piercing in my right ear and many headsets make it sore after extended use, this one doesn't make it hurt in the slightest.

Super easy setup, plug and play. Deep bass, crystal clear highs and really good noise isolation. The battery lasts ages, only need to charge it like once every 2-3 weeks with daily use.

I'm blown away by the quality of these headphones. Especially for the price. I've been using them for 5 days now and the battery is still at 80%. My last pair of HyperX's would need a charge by now. That pair is 2 years old and still works. The headband broke, but after 2 years of regular use, I think I got my money's worth. I hope these last as long. Highly recommend.

I bought them because they had amazing battery life and were very comfortable. I would rate them 5 stars if they had 7.1 surround sound too. Other then that they sound still great and feel premium. Definetly worth more money then the turtle beach 600 gen 2 or 700 gen 2.
