crisp sound quality and comfort. Only knock on this headset is the lack of a mute button without the mix amp.

This product is a nice balanced all around pair of headphones that can work for any gaming method. The only downside is you only get the on cord mute button amd volume control when it is in ish cord form.

Great headset but doesn't have mute button so I had to buy a headset adapter. Other than that sound is great!

I picked this headset up because I was in the market for a new set after my Astro A20s died. I compared this to a set of Steelseries Arctis 5 and Turtle Beach Atlas One. Of the three, this one sounded the worst. There is a 7.1 surround sound button on the in-line controller that seems to make everything sound hollow, like the speakers weren't right next to my ear. I figured I just wasn't used to it, but after a few games of Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch they still sounded weird. I turned the 7.1 off and the headset sounded muffled, like I had turned the volume down by half. I had to crank up the volume to hear anything well and ended up getting a static. They feel great on your head, but the sounds are just off for me.

Have had the headset for about 20 days now. The sound is great and easy to use with Windows 10. Like how you can adjust the sound of the headset & mic right on the wire. Oh, and the wire can clip to your shirt to help with keeping the wire from getting in your way. Not really sure if it is surround sound or not. When pressing the button to turn on surround sound, the sound gets louder. Have noticed while using the headset with the vinyl material covers, it does seem to cut off some of the sound outside of the headset (plus). The mic is a bit hard to attach to the headset, but once it is on, you are good. Using the headset for computer gaming & talking to my squad while playing.

These headphones are lovely - physically. Beautifully colored. They're snug - you can headbang in these bad boys & they wouldn't leave your head. Despite the adjustable settings for this, they're still snug, which may be a problem for those who don't like feeling like your head is being squeezed while wearing headphones or those prone to headaches. The sound quality.....will make due. I'm glad I got them during Cyber Monday for half the price, because sound quality alone - these are not worth $100. $50 is a much more suitable price. I bought these to replace a pair of Razers I have with a broken mouth piece - but I feel the sound quality in my Razers is much better than these HyperX. I'm a bass head; If you're looking for bass - these have none. The "surround sound" button on the remote connected just makes it sound like whatever you're listening to is coming out of both headphones, loudly with the same poor quality, as opposed to it sounding like it's coming from one headphone, with the feature off. It's like watching tv in a hospital room with the volume turned down. The headphones can be used in other devices, something I thought was cool, by detaching the adapter-USB plug at the bottom, reveling a 3.5 end you can plug into most phones or laptops. The microphone is also detachable. It came with a red lined set of ear cushions in case you lose the black ones that come on them, or simply want to change the color of the inside material. It also came with a carry bag to take on the go or store to prevent aesthetic physical damage. If you're looking for a "cute" pair of headphones that'll just get the job done, or that you can use for pretty much all your devices; These are it. I give it 3 stars for simplicity & wouldn't recommend to friends on account - my friends also like a lot for bass in their audio.

So I bought this after learning a lot about it from Google. From what I learned, this Kingston headset was very great for sound, considering it has 7.1 surround sound with the headset. Well, after purchasing, I realized that they were right. the 7.1 surround sound card was amazing. music and movies and gaming all sound great. however, I was a little upset to find that the card was part of the usb cord, and therefore not able to be used on my phone. Also, the headset is removable, but not that bendable. you can't bend it backwards, away from your face. Also, the sound card part of the usb cord, doesn't feel very sturdy. it feels like cheap plastic and the headset itself doesn't have any button control. it's all part of the card on the cord, meaning you can't control anything unless it's plugged into a computer. on an xbox or ps4 or phone, it's just a headset with a mic. all that being said, the sound quality is great, even if it's just plugged into a phone. they're great headphones and the mic can be easily heard by others. when being used on a computer, it's really nice to be able to control the voice volume coming in as well as the computer sound, right from the card. the headset is also very, VERY comfortable and even came with a second set of ear pads(idk what they're called. the cushions for your ears on the headset) of a different material so you can pick your favorite. rating 4/5 due to not being too fancy while still being over 100$
