Comfortable, quality headset for video conferences

I needed a comfortable headset to wear 4 to 6 hours a day for video conferencing at work. After trying some cheaper headsets, I was determined to find something that wouldn't have my coworkers complaining about background noise or electronic buzzing. After reading what others said about the HyperX - Cloud II Pro headset, I thought they could be exactly what I needed. I'm glad that I gave them a try. They're extremely comfortable for multi-hour calls. While the microphone can't cancel out all background noises, these do cancel most background noises in other parts of the house. My voice is not mechanical when speaking on the calls and my coworkers are not complaining about any electronic or buzzing noises when I'm on calls. The supplied case and detachable microphone boom are a nice touch and add to the portability of the headset. If I needed another headset for audio/video computer calls tomorrow, I would purchase another HyperX - Cloud II Pro headset.

This headset is a lot more comfortable than my Astro A40’s, I recently switched from Xbox to PC and was sad to discover I had to rebuy a new headset since it only worked with Xbox, but this headset is amazing for the price and honestly like it more than my $200 Astros, my friends have also said my voice sounds more clear and HD with this new headset as well

These are by far my favorite gaming headphones to date. The cord is longer than I could ever need, and is braided which keeps it from kinking, which is a great feature. It comes with a separate set of ear cup covers that are cloth if you don't like the leather-like material / get hot easily. They seemed tedious to change (watched my husband, i left mine as is) but he got them changed, and raves about how much cooler/comfier they are. The microphone can be detached which is nice, and when it is attached it's very versatile. My favorite thing has to be the remove that comes on it. you can mute your mic entirely with a toggle button, enable 7.1 sound, and independently increase or decrease the sound and microphone volumes. Amazingly comfortable, and great for long hours of gaming/music. The sound quality is fantastic, and no feedback issues through steam chat which is our main use.

This is by far my favorite headset I have ever owned. (Hyper x II, Revolvers, Kraken, Logitech g430). I think this is the best headset you could buy for the price range and is a good competitor for more expensive options. I left a little pro / con list below. Pros : - Amazing for the price - Better than the revolvers - Lightweight - Stylish - Sound is amazing Cons : - Makes ears hot - Gets uncomfortable after many hours

Works great with USB or with just the 3.5mm plug. The USB cable is plenty long, almost too long. The headset cord has a 3.5mm plug on the end that plugs into the USB cord if you choose. This cord is a little too short. Sound quality is good, and it's comfortable to wear for a long time. I don't use the microphone, so I can't give a review on that part.

Bought these headphones for my son for Christmas. They are priced just right. The sound is good on them and the microphone was easy to plug on and works fine. No sound cuts out and not when he talks also. They are comfortable and light weight

I upgraded from the Razer Kraken X to these and I have to say that these are twice the quality. The sound is fairly rich, though I’ve definitely heard better. The EQ is pretty balanced, though, with no frequency dominating. They are a GREAT For for small heads, BUT they are a little tight. They come with 2nd ear cups that are soft and not noise canceling. I like that for gaming so I can hear myself talk and not feel like I’m screaming. I’m told the mic is crisp and super clear and the surround sound with the usb sound card works perfectly! (Much better than Razer’s 7.1 or THx). I can detect where Even the most subtle sounds are coming from In game. Plugged in as headphones in the 3.5mm jack, they also sound pretty darn good. Good: not bulky, great Fit even for smaller heads, sound and mic clarity, external USB sound card means no software to install, separate controls for mic and audio volume, replaceable mic and ear cups. Bad: a little tight fitting, could have a little more bass (but the bass is definitely sufficient), A little bit heavy, but not too bad. Overall, these smoke a lot of the other products in the class. I will be buying this brand again, if these ever fail on me.

Extremely comfortable, great quality. Light as well, great for someone with glasses. Sound and mic are fantastic as well. Does not contain in-line volume/mute buttons unless you're hooked into a USB port. Good for computers, but for Console I would recommend the Cloud Alpha for in-line volume/mute buttons with no need USB port

    Best headphones I've used!

I won't lie I am a VERY picky person about my headphones. I like the bigger ones that fit over your ear. I like when they have better bass and I like when they last a long time. I have used various brands throughout the years and they are all cheaply made and fall apart right away. I talked to the employee about all this and he said this one seemed to be a better fit for what I was look for. He was right! These fit perfectly on my head and swivel/extend if you need them too. The microphone pops off if you don't care to use it. It also comes with a nice bag to carry it in if you go out. And the ear pieces are replaceable with an alternate set that looks and feels different. It plugs in easily into a USB port and reads it right away. It has its own built in soundcard to! It also has a small control pad on the cord so you can control the volume of the mic and the headphones. The cord is VERY long which I was also thrilled about. The sound in it is AMAZING and even better then my cheap pair I bought. The only con I can think of is the "7.1 surround sound" (you turn it on/off on that control panel) is really bad. I play CSGO and can't really tell where an enemy is with the surround sound. So I turn it off. Maybe it works better with other games. Not sure. I mean I can hear when someone is upstairs or downstairs for example. But I can't pinpoint where exactly. Where as with it off I can pinpoint if they are behind me but to the left upstairs...etc. Defiantly give these a shot! The price is well worth it!

I am not an audiophile by any means. As such, these do sound nice. Much better than my cheapo Turtle Beach from 8 years ago. It is comfortable to wear for long sessions, even more if I switch to the included soft fabric ear pads. Construction feels solid. The braided cable is sturdy feeling. The sound range feels good, it has bass but not in an amount that gets tiring to hear after a few minutes. As for the 7.1 Virtual Surround feature, I'm not sold on that and actually prefer it to be off. It simulates the sound of sitting in a room with a lower quality surround sound system, mimicking reverberations and echoes off the walls of the room and making the sound source feel like it is a distance away. Definitely not more immersive or realistic sound. And tracking sound sources becomes more difficult, object sounds are either mostly left or right ear, not a changing mix as they move from side to side, front to back. ALSO - on PC an included feature of Windows 10 called Windows Sonic does the same thing for free without needing a converter such as is in this headset. So for PC gaming this is redundant. So is this headset worth the $90 asking price? Wish I could say, I haven't researched the competition and how their features are priced, and if you even need those features, but price aside it's a nice headset.

    Good sound but Short Cord

I'll start with the good. I found these to be very comfortable on the head and the sounds is good. I have no complaints about this part. I was surprised when I opened the box and found the cord very short. The majority of the cord that was attached was only usable if you use the USB sound card adapter. I have a good motherboard with sound on it so I only wanted to use the 3.5mm jack but the cord with the 3.5mm jack only is about 3 feet at most. Which wasn't going to reach from the back of my computer case to where I sit. I almost returned this headset but luckily I had a splitter to separate the mic and the audio and I also had an 3.5mm extension cable. The manufacture should have included a splitter for the 3.5 mm to separate the mic from the audio so you could attached it directly to your front panel of your case or the back of your motherboard. The cable should of been at least 4-6 feet long and terminated at the end with the 3.5mm. Make the USB sound card an option as a short extension to attached to the end of the longer 3.5mm cable. I think this is made more for consoles than for PC gamers.

I've only ever used Turtle Beach, but after this I'll never go back! I do wish they fit a little tighter and that the 3.5mm cord itself was a little longer, but otherwise I love these! They came with regular cuffs and fuzzy cuffs, but I've only used the regular ones. The noise cancellation is good and the mic is crisp and clear.

Comfortable and reasonably priced. These are my 2 requirements, and this headset fit the bill. The microphone provides crisp and clear conversation while the over-the-ear pads provide comfort and clear sound. I am able to use this headset for hours with no discomfort during daily meetings. I've owned this item for about1 month and I'm so glad I got it. Yes, I waited for a month before this review, just in case... The headset has a USB connection to my laptop. There is a volume control as well as a mute button in the USB-to-headset dongle, with buttons clearly indicating the function. I have used this headset for Microsoft Team Meetings, Webex, and Live events (yes, for work), and for listening to music and watching videos. Highly recommended.

headset is one that is lightweight, comfortable, and provides an excellent balance of sound frequencies: not too much treble, not too much bass, etc. This is actually my 2nd headset; my first headset was a Sades A60, which I purchased because they were cheap but claimed to have 7.1 surround sound. Well they didn't; furthermore, they were WAY too big for my head, they weren't lightweight, they weren't flexible, they made my ears feel warm after 30 minutes, and the inside padding wasn't comfortable at all.

Best Bang For Your Buck Headset!

I did an extensive amount of web browsing, reading reviews online, and watching YouTube videos on what headsets would give me the best audio quality and "bang for my buck" in terms of audio quality for games, movies, and music. I finally came across this wonderful headset for $100 and have to say that they give you audio quality and have build construction similar to headphones at double their price point. The cloud 2's are made with brushed aluminum so they are very solid yet somewhat flexible, they have faux leather earcups and headband which makes them extremely comfortable for playing games or watching movies for hours on end. They also come with a detachable microphone, an extra set of earcups made out of cloth fabric, a USB dongle for 7.1 virtual surround sound, a small audio adapter for airplane use and a mesh carrying bag to house all of the accessories and the headphones themselves. They work beautifully on PC, PS4, and XBOX ONE. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a high quality and comfortable set of headphones for gaming or other activities as the sound quality is really as close to high end headphones as you can get for this price point. Please be aware that these are WIRED headphones not wireless, therefore you will never have to charge them but will have a fairly short cable which I found great for taking on the go to use these headphones on my iPod or laptop on the go at work and in college.

I play on Xbox and PS4 and I've owned the PS Platinum headset but honestly this is still the best headset I've ever bought. Super comfortable with interchanging headphone pieces, works on every system, and outstanding sound quality. The only drawback is it's wired. But all in all I still think its worth the 5-star.

The headset it’s self is light, and extremely comfortable for long hours. But, the process to swap the ear muffs from leather to cloth was a pain, took a bit of time but the design was odd. It’s a great upgrade from the old headset I had which was the Razer kraken pro. They headsets surround sound button is great and you can hear everything. I was happy with my purchase overall, just had minor inconveniences.

AMAZING. A Google search will lead you to see that a lot of people will recommend NOT A HEADSET LIKE THIS, but rather, separate HEADPHONES, with an external, usb, desktop microphone (because HEADSET COMBO's with Mic attached like this one, are usually just marketed for Gaming and are absolute trash) . BUT THIS HEADSET.... This is something else. EVERYBODY agrees. Even all those people that recommend buying the two things separately, ADMIT THAT THIS HEADSET IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BEAST. I bought a Adapter from Fry's because my desktop's 2-in-1 headset audio jack was in the front of the desktop, causing too much static. Instead, i used the adapter to plug it into the back of my desktop's green and pink audio jacks, and I couldn't be happier.. The COMFORT 5+++ wear it for hours. will forget that it's on. Loudness, Quality Sound EVERYTHING AMAZING TRUST ME GET IT you won't regret it.

Tried many different headsets over the years mostly in the 60-100 dollar range. This is the best of the bunch with deep lows and rich highs. Quality of construction is impressive as well and I can wear them all day comfortably. Really like the mic which can easily be removed if you want. (Clicks in/out)
