Purchased on Black Friday for $99.99. So far this headset has been a good upgrade from my old Turtle Beaches.

When I bought this headset, I did not charge as often as I would with my previous Steel Series Arctis 9X headsets.

The HyperX Cloud III Wireless is a well‑built, comfortable, gamer‑focused headset that delivers excellent low‑latency performance and exceptional battery life—but sacrifices some audio quality, especially for music.
⸻
Comfort & Build Quality
• Lightweight (~340g), with plush leatherette ear cushions and a sturdy aluminum/plastic frame—widely praised as “super comfortable” for extended play sessions .
Low-Latency Wireless
• Uses a 2.4 GHz USB‑C dongle, providing near-perfect wireless performance for PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch .
Exceptional Battery Life
• Tested with over 120 hours of battery on a single charge —enough to last a week of heavy use without recharging.
Detachable Boom Microphone
• Features an angled boom mic with pop filter and LED mute indicator. The mic is crisp and cuts through game audio clearly—described as “extremely clear” and ideal for Discord/streaming .
Directional Sound for Gaming
• The 53 mm drivers deliver a tuned sound profile that enhances footsteps and positional cues, favoring competitive FPS play .

This HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless headset is a great choice if you spend time gaming or listening to videos or music. I was impressed with how comfortable they are. I will forget I even have them on when I leave my computer room. The battery life is exceptional. I can go days before charging them. While wearing them, you can press the power button quickly, and it will tell you the percentage of battery that is left. You also get several warnings about a low battery before it kicks off.
As for the microphone, I am able to be heard clearly while on Discord chat or game chats. I would say the sound isn't the best with the limited graphic EQ presets in the HyperX NGENUITY app. You can adjust them on a PC and it sounds great. For console use, it doesn't feel as immersive. I have not been able to bring the settings from my computer, over to my console. Most games that I play are on PC, and the console games I play isn't a make or break thing with the sound.
Overall, I am pleased with this brand and purchase. I normally purchase Razer products but with the latest headset from Razer, customer support wasn't helpful. I have found support with HyperX to be phenomenal.

I've had this headset for a year or two at this point and I can say confidently it's the best headset I have used period. Sounds wonderful, long battery life, super comfortable. I've never had an issue when it comes to using it. It also charges pretty fast, I don't have to wait long to use it when it dies which happens not that often. Definenty worth it.

Honestly this is the best headset I’ve ever used it’s comfortable the battery life on it is so good the range is good the microphone is too tier for a headset mic you’re really getting a good deal for this type of head set

Very long battery life I’ve used them for around 3 weeks and haven’t found the need to charge them yet. The battery life only tells you in 10% increments. Very light and comfortable. However, I will likely switch out the ear pieces when they start to breakdown in the future. The bass is light, but sounds are very clear which is great for games that rely heavily on footsteps and sound cues.

Pros: These headphones are very comfortable. Like all HyperX headsets are it’s why I’ve used them for years. The wireless is nice too.
Cons: well, after 2 weeks of owning them, after extremely limited use, maybe 4 hours total, they no longer turn on. They won’t charge, they won’t give any feedback, they’re completely dead. Of course, I notice it on the same day the return window closes. So now, I have to deal with HyperX warranty support, which for starters takes a long time. I submitted a claim, had to provide a whole bunch of proof including videos with my name and date handwritten on paper, proof of purchase, etc. this was 4 days ago. I still haven’t heard from them if my claim is accepted and what the process will be for obtaining a new one. I now don’t have a working headset and not sure when I will.
I have had good experiences with HyperX products so I’m going to treat this as an anomaly, however it is extremely disappointing and frustrating to buy a brand new expensive headset and have it die completely two weeks after pulling it brand new out of the box. The product when it works is good and typical HyperX comfort and sound quality. We will see if the replacement, which I better get without issues or having to pay a dime in shipping, is not a lemon out of the box.

I recently bought these headphones, the quality of sound and able to hear the footsteps, extra noises I wouldn’t be able to pick up before. It just evens the sound perfectly, I would say best as it fills the cup perfectly without it spilling out! where as other headsets sounding too bass heavy each gun shot sounds like a grenade or just too filling, or sounds too hollow where the game doesn’t immerse me as much. (I do play rainbow six siege where every sound counts) or it’s really something else. Crazy to say it’s wireless 2.4ghz with 120 hours! The mic quality sounds thick and not like a tin can will also be able to block off outside extra sounds. Only down side is there don’t have options to buy the replacement dongle usb-c yet (which I ended up losing totally my fault), but neither less the company replaced me a new headset as a courtesy!!, just had to show proof of purchase & other information. Never had a company that stands by there product and there our customers, I am rating 5 stars for immersive sound, comfortabilty (just slap it on your head and adjust) easy peasy , perfect sounding mic! Only a few drawbacks is just no 3.5mm, Bluetooth or no bells n whistles, But I would concur and say it’s its a minimalist design and does its job too good! Keeping it simple! If the cloud 4 wireless drops I would definitely buy and continue to support this company!

I purchased this and the Alpha version as online reviews seemed mixed and I wanted to make sure I found the perfect headset.
This hands down, beats the more expensive Alpha in comfort and microphone quality. There seems to be a microphone passthrough as well which the Alpha lacked which makes me feel more comfortable controlling my voice volume.
The battery life might be lower at 120hrs but that is plenty of time to recharge the headset.
There is thicker padding for the ears, making it more comfortable than it's more expensive sibling.
Overall, I think it's a great headset and the factory 2yr warranty makes me feel more confident in this purchase.

This headset exceeds every expectation I had! cosmetically it is very sleek with high quality materials, Functionally it has very High quality sound and noise cancelling works great! The Bluetooth Functionality is perfect as well you can go very far away from the connected device and not lose any connection. The battery life lasts forever too and doesn’t take long to charge! Highly recommend

One of, if not the best, headsets on the market. Insanely comfortable out of the box, crisp microphone, unreal battery life, and a fairly good range when away from the PC. Also, legitimately plug and play with no need for downloadable drivers or software which is a huge bonus. Just plug into any PC and you're ready to go!

Sound quality is very good. I use them for gaming on PC. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Mic quality is great. I have been told by several people that they can hear me clearly. The battery life is insane. On average I use them 20 hours a week and I will use about 10% of the battery life.

Been using it for three months, very happy with it overall. I find the sound quality to be pretty good, and connectivity is fantastic, I can use it completely fine anywhere in my house. It is also very comfortable, which is what I would expect from the Cloud line. The detachable mic is one of my favorite features, I wouldn't buy a headset without it.
I do wish it had slightly more clamp force, it will slowly slide off if I look down, my wired Cloud headset did not, and I also wish the height adjustments were a bit more granular, also like how my wired Cloud headset was.
