I would say better than average performance. The higher range ones of Hyper X are better ones. Surely a little light weight from other wired headsets. Good for kids or beginners for gaming.

One day I noticed that the headset quit working then saw that the USB end had been chewed completely off by one of the kittens, who love to chew paper, boxes, and plants in the house. This heasdset was a replacement and works splendedly.
