    It's a great mousepad, but the edges are sewn together with fishing line material that's very scratchy and not good on the wrists, if you don't have anything on to guard against it. It looks as if the lighting is held in place by the wire / line. Assume that if it wears out or is removed, the lighting will come with it. A softer material is unlikely as durable, but it's clear so the lighting (from a distance) looks like there's nothing wrapped

    Great mouse pad had it for a little while and no issues yet. Wish the touch sensor worked to change profiles while the software is running but you can get around it by closing software
