The HyperXSolocast Microphone is a great mic! After switching from a headset mic to this, it has been a huge improvement and I would recommend it if you need a mic for recording videos or using social media. Only downside is it could be over sensitive to background sounds. Other than that it it’s very easy to set up and the sound is crisp and clear.

I went to this mic from a Hyper X Quadcast (Gen 1) mic. Reason being is I wanted my mic to stand out less on my desk and give me more space by getting rid of my boom. It is an odd choice to sum but I haven't missed it at all! Also, Rotate the mic 90 degrees as I have it pictured! *You will want to rotate your mic 90 degrees as I have shown in my photo. Reason being is for some weird reason it will pick up keyboard presses as light audible taps through your desk if you don't have it on a boom.. Through some kind of sorcery (or science) rotating it gets rid of this completely!* Pros: - Compact - Great Sound (Friends said they could not tell the difference from my Quadcast to this *take that how you may lol*) - USB-C - Tap to Mute - Plug & Play Cons: - None that come to mind...

Its a solid microphone for people moving on from headset microphones but I personally recommend some sound enhancement software like Nvidia broadcast which is supported by RTX 30 or 40 series pc's and can use ai to isolate any constant clicks from your mouse or keyboard sounds. If you don't want to use that then try watching some videos on microphone software that can prevent the microphone from hearing any unnecessary sound but other then that its a solid 10 out of 10. You can even use a mic arm if you don't want it on your desk too.

This mic was easy to setup and it works very well. The mic isn’t too tall to get in the way visually and it’s not very wide so there’s plenty of space for your keyboard if using this for a pc setup like me. The quality is definitely there especially given the price point. The service shown when buying this product was also phenomenal. I placed an online mobile pickup order and within minutes my order was ready. I’m very happy with the overall product and the quality of service I was shown.

Exactly what i was looking for in a cheaper mic. Plug nd play and doesn’t sound too bad. It’s not the absolute clearest mic ever, but my friends and teammates never have a problem hearing me. I use it for valorant and discord and both only pick up my voice, no tapping on my keyboard or anything. However, when i first got it, i was using playback with open mic just to see how clear it sounded (amazing for the price range) but open mic did pick up my keyboard and mouse.

Good microphone! I was always worried when I thought my mic sounded good but in reality it sounded terrible. But, I don’t have to worry about that because even my friends and people I play with compliment my mic. The mute button is very easy to use and easily accessible. Overall a solid mic!

Really high quality sounding mic! Only issue is it picks up keyboards and vibrations on the desk, etc.. I would suggest using a boom arm with it but other than that it’s great!

Had this microphone for a little over a month, and it has EXCEEDED my expectations. It's PERFECT for my future streams and even talking to my friends on Discord. This is a MUST-HAVE if you want a good quality microphone, but you don't want to spend hundreds on it.

Great mic much better than the blue yeti i was using before.

All the good things everyone says is true, i got around the sensitivity my keyboard and desk make by using a shock mount and a pop filter. I set the volume to 25 on Windows and i get the perfect amount of volume with out getting too much background keyboard sound. For gaming i adjusted the threshold in game and no sound can be heard but my voice. For the shock mount i got a 48-52mm on amazon, and the "Eggsnow Adjustable Desktop Microphone Holder" for the final look you see in my picture. The pop filter was some generic cheap one, and i cut out the top for the touch mute. FIRMWARE UPDATE: RED -> ON, NO LED - MUTE

My daughter is very happy with this purchase. The sound quality is amazing and a huge upgrade from her previous headset according to her friends. There's a mute touch button at the top of the microphone with a blinking red light as an indicator that the mic has been muted. It's a USB-C connection. The price is reasonable for a quality sound like this. As great as it is to include a stand, the only downside is that the stand is very short but that can be resolved with a new stand. You just plug it in and it's ready to be used. No downloads required for set up.

I've been using this to record for a while now. The sound quality's pretty nice, as is the noise suppression (though it does still pick up my heater sometimes, but I guess that can't be helped.)

The Hyperx microphone is a great quality microphone and is affordable if you are on a low budget.

It will pick up a lot of sound with clicky keyboards if you don't have a cover, but it's honestly not so bad. Definitely no complaints from my friends and I've had this mic for a long while. Would def recommend. Perfect place for my lil friend to sit on, too.

So far so good. It’s easy to plug into my laptop and I can mute on the top of the mic. I use it to stream on twitch and my friends say I sound like a podcaster.

just got this recently to help my voice quality while streaming. it works great in streamlabs obs. it more clearer that my built in mic on my headphone.
