Hyrule Warriors fills in where Tears left off

The hack and slash style of gameplay is not my favorite, but it is very story heavy and I appreciated that. Knowing what happened in between the memories makes this worth the purchase.

Probably the best "Warriors" game right now... Really didn't feel grindy at all... Wish there was villains to play as, like in the other games though...

A great time, but a step back from AoC and DE

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The problem with making this sequel to Age of Calamity canon is that it SEVERELY limits the kinds of characters you can include. Be prepared to be super underwhelmed by ~80% of the cast. AoC and Definitive were allowed to have way cooler characters due to not being canon. I also find it to have far less mission type variety than AoC or Definitive Edition. Much preferred the weapon upgrade system of the other two as well, this one really forces you to hoard all of your upgrades on one or two characters because they are almost all using the same material. The ZR abilities were WAY cooler in AoC. That said, it’s gorgeous, runs perfectly, is very fun to play, and a great time if you enjoy musou games.

Fun game that gives new lore to Zelda TotK

Recommend for anyone who enjoys a hack n slash/kill hundreds of enemies type of game and wants the backstory of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Story takes about 20 hours and full completion of the game takes around 50.
