that’s just it, so fun. a good game to just hack and slash some enemies to no end lol. the story is also very good and introduces some cool new characters to the Zelda series. if you want some good nostalgia, you want this game. The 2D map mode is so cute, and characters you thought you’d never get to play are playable ahhh

It's fun to play and you can play as many of your favorite characters.

I missed out on playing Hyrule Warriors on both the Wii U and the 3DS, so I was pleased to hear that this we ported over to the Switch. The gameplay mirrors that of Dynasty Warriors with a Legend of Zelda twist, as the iconic Zelda cast of characters are playable. The maps are vast and are all based on popular landmarks found throughout Hyrule.

This game is like dynasty warriors but with zelda characters. Amazing.

I’ve had this game for a few weeks now and it has been LOTS of FUN!! There are different modes in the game and each one of them is equally challenging and fun. It’s lively and very colorful. The animation on the cutscenes is very nice and there’s not a lot of downtime between levels. This is a must have for any Legend of Zelda fan. Totally worth it!!!

If you like the Warriors (Musou) games, youll like this one. You can tell Koei put a bit more work into this one, probably at Nintendo's insistence. But don't expect it to have reinvented their formula, because ultimately it's the same experience, just with a bit more polish and heft. But I like the Warriors games, some people hate them.

Hyrule warriors has so many characters, challenges and modes it definitely keep you busy for a long time

Hyrule Warriors is a great single or multiplayer game. Plays like a lot of JRPGS like Samurai Warriors ect. (ie. There is a map in the corner and you or your team have objectives to complete to advance the story and developments. The last few games this reminds me of are Attack on Titan and Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. If you like those or any of the multitude of Samurai Warriors games, you'll love this one.

I've never played this type of game but after trying it I'm surprised how fun it can be especially if you like anything Legend of Zelda. You feel like an overpowered beast defeating these monsters. There are harder difficulties which will challenge any one though. Overall this game is really fun and addicting.

I really like this slasher version of a Zelda game. It’s a fun time waster and easy to play. It can be repetitive and is not a typical Legend of Zelda game with puzzles to solve along the journey. I had to google to understand how to progress in the game because at times I seem to been going in circles far too long.

Great game that was sadly ignored when it was originally launched on the Wii U. Full base game plus all add ons to the original game plus the 3DS version. If you're a fan of these massive hack and slash type games I am sure you will be able to enjoy or enjoy if you're just a Zelda fan

The classic is back and better than ever. Plenty of fun although too much grinding as always.

As an avid zelda fan this is a great addition to anyones collection. The original game for wii u was good, but this makes it even better. Not only is it not portable, but co-op is super smooth. Unlike the choppy mess we had on wii u. Also this includes all expansion and DS versions. Just get it.

THIS fun filled game includes everyone's favorite gaming character from the LEGEND OF ZELDA and all of its friendly cast of his friends!!! and minions too!! The graphics are really cool, and quests are fun and plenty. IT is a great game for the money and it is worth it to buy for the switch!!!

wasn't sure if id like this because this genre usually isn't my thing but it's actually really fun! I love all the extra details that makes it still feel like Zelda but with a fresh twist being a different genre. really fun characters to play lots of variety and fun Zelda easter eggs.

I had never played a warriors style game before this but man is it fun. The 'story mode' alone took over 15 hours and there are multiple 'legacy zelda' style maps to play beyond the main scenario. So much value, so many characters, so many variations to each character. Great game.

THIS is an EXCELLENT Musou title. I know many tend to frown on these games for their repetitive nature BUT this one here is a completely different beast. If you're a Legend of Zelda fan, you HAVE to check this one out.

Hyrule Warriors on Wii U was a really solid game and this Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch is even better! Improved graphics, resolution, and frame rate, plus all characters added in from the 3DS port and even free, bew costumes. Great action. Lots of fun.

I was hesitant to buy Hyrule Warriors for a third time but Definitive edition is aptly named. I skipped on purchasing some of the later DLC for the older versions but it's all here now in the complete package. An already content heavy game has even more to offer.
