    I would give it a 5. The front cover works wonderfully but the back/bottom cover is loose. Have elected to leave it off which isn’t a problem as there are pads that allow the necessary ventilation to prevent overheating.

    I have had 2 other shells and they broke easily and provided no ventilation for the computer. This case has a great design. It comes with tabs on each corner which eliminates any sound when you put your laptop down on a service. The bottom is designed to provide a nice flow of air so your computer DOESN'T get overheated which causes the fan to run loud and continually. Perfect fit!

    Bottom case doesn’t seem to snap in as firmly as the top. Top case covers the Apple logo (at least the black case does since it’s dark And translucent more than transparent). Otherwise it does the job and is very thin which I love.
