I purchased this Computer just before Christmas on sale for $1349.99. The original price was $1,599.99. The last 3 computers I built myself. This computer is replacing my 8 year old machine that I built. I couldn’t justify doing it again. This is replacing a Intel I7-2600 CPU processor. One reason for this purchase is I was looking for a Computer that would support 3 monitors. The NVIDIA GeForce RXT 2070 graphics card does just that. My only problem here is that all of my monitors don’t have display ports. I purchased 3 Insignia display port to HDMI adapters. The other reason for buying this is because I work on my family genealogy. This would let me move from a web sight to my software program without minimizing my screens. Another reason is that I would like to do some video editing. When I tried this on my old computer it took forever to edit a 3 minute clip. I have not tried to edit any video clips yet. I’m not sure if I will ever get into gaming on this machine but I may in the future. I also purchased a external DVD Writer. This computer doesn’t come with a CD/DVd drive. Most of the software I own is still on CD/DVD’s. Another feature I like is the WIFI / Blue tooth card that came with the computer. It work excellent with moving pictures and audio files from my Smart phone to my computer with out plugging my phone into the computer. My only con………….. I also purchased a WD Black 1 TB hard disk drive for all of my data files. This computer doesn’t have any traditional drive bays where the drive lays flat. You need to mount it standing up on the right side of the computer. WD doesn’t recommend standing the drive on end per the installation instructions. So I E-mailed IBUYPower support and asked them about this and never got a straight answer. They kept telling me that the only place to mount the drive is on the right side on the supplied mounting plate. See attached picture. If these tower cases are so modular why can’t they supply a traditional drive bay? There is plenty of space on the left inside. How would they mount a CD/DVD drive if the computer came with one? All in all I like this computer so far. I would of given it 5 stars, but the had drive issue above is my only complaint. Right from when I turned it on for the first time it was very easy to setup.

Planned to build gaming PC but this one spec'd out at price less than what we were looking at. The mobo is a mid-ATX and is pretty small inside the standard case, but looks fine with a freaking NVIDIA RTX2070! The i7-8700 is more than fine (we didn't need overclocking and 8700T). Note: the mobo is a basic, entry ASUS B360M IB-R, but isn't missing any key elements bottlenecking the CPU/GPU combo that we can see or learn about. Paired with a Western Digital Blue 1TB 3D NAND SSD and 16GB of ADATA DDR4 2666 DIMM RAM, it's an out-of-the-box speed demon for our gaming teen. The case is solid, w tempered glass, not acrylic, but lacks expansion bays for data drives. The anchor tabs/slots are there, but no module to pop additional HDDs if needed is included. Be aware it does not come with CD/DVD drive (not a deal-breaker because we have a an external/portable USB 3.0 type at home: $20) Cable management was non-existent. Slapped in but easy to clean up. Power supply is a respectable Thermaltake 600W. Entry, but good to go. The case and front-panel LEDs were DOA. Loaded the drivers, checked the wiring/connections, no joy. Appears to be a common issue, will have to contact Mfg for assist. Airflow and noise are great. Quiet and cool, and that's with a stock fan and heatsink. Nothing fancy, but really, in this config, liquid-cooled or more-capable heatsinks don't appear to be needed. CPU temp monitor software is proving this. What else. Oh, a keyboard and mouse are included, but know that they're cheesy and any serious gamer will toss these immediately. In fact, the mouse died in the first week during setup before we could even switch systems and install the RAZR Death Adder. Not nit-picking this build, just letting others know what to expect. Seriously, for the money (holiday sale price), this i7-8700/RTX-2070 combo was hard to beat and we don't have any regrets. The mobo can always be upgraded if we see it needs it. This is a gaming box , and when paired with a 144Hz 27" monitor, with RAZR peripherals, gets it done.

Budget Pc with ME driver vulnerability

I normally build my own pc's but didn't want to again this time. I know you get what you pay for in these things and its not all bad. The first pc I had was an Asrock B360m IB-R board. I had some compatibility issues with my memory when used with the installed Apacer ram. My HDD would not get detected, and I had to keep unplugging and plugging my corsair mouse back in so it would work. The board still had the initial bios install of v1.10. There is no way to flash the bios to fix any of these issues on top of that to also fix the ME driver security vulnerability that exist. Best buy was very helpful in doing an exchange for the same PC to the best they could. Hoping for a different board, But in the 2nd PC I get an Asrock B360m IB-R1 board, adata memory, Msi GPU, WD Green SSD,. Same issues as first board inial bios were still left at v1.10 when the bios are at v3.40 for the unmodified board. I ended up replacing the just the motherboard with a MSI z390 best buy had in stock. Now this thing works the way it should. If I could of done it the simple way of flashing the bios or if Ibuypower did it when they were already in there before they shipped. Its not that hard or long they were already in there setting it up. Step up your QC Ibuypower and either supply the bios to ALL your modify boards or flash them before shipping with security vulnerabilities. Pros: MSI RTX 2070 WD SSD Cable management I7 8700 Cons: MOTHER BOARD Asrock B360M IB-R Asrock B360M IB-R1 Heatsink and fan case fans They used WAY to much thermal compound on cpu idle temp before were 45c load 75-80c now are 35-37c load 60-62c running @ 4.3 Ghz at all times with same heat sink and fan but with out the 5lb of thermal compound

Like many others out there, I was trying to piece together and build a great gaming computer but keep the price down. I needed to buy three desktops for my kids to play their games and did not want to go the route of building them all on Christmas day. For the sale price this computer seems to be a great buy with very good specs. My main concern about building one was not the CPU but rather the GPU. The specs are really good, actually great; I7-8700 (non overclocked CPU) - Not an issue as I normally do not overclock and the GPU would be the bottleneck anyway. Nvidia RTX 2070 (What a beast) - Have it running three monitors 1TB SSD - Better than most builds offered out there that only come with with a small SSD and larger mechanical drive, this is 1TB SATA SSD. 16GB RAM Bluetooth (not that it is advertised) 600 Watt PS - Not modular Remote to control the RGB lighting in the case. Would have liked the option to add more fans/lighting to the controller installed. It plays all the games they use (Fortnite, GTA5, CSGO, Fallout). All graphics are set to max. Framerate is awesome. Big difference as we moved from Radeon graphics (rx470). Even if some naysayers complain about the motherboard and power supply, that is not the case here. You could not buy the parts cheaper than getting this put tother for you. Going to be an easy upgrade as years come (in regards to maybe a new PS or other components). The keyboard and mouse which come with it are not the best, but we switched them out immediately with better ones. Not crazy about iBuyPower forcing a review for a free gift when the registration card does not state that, but hopefully this will help someone.

Purchased as a basic gaming computer for the x-Plane flight sim. Overall I am satisfied with the system, as i can run the sim with all settings maxed out with basic aircraft. Running the Velocity V-Twin requires a drop in settings but still works well. Now to problems 1. keyboard is junk, yes it has lights but keys stick or are hard to press. 2. Very awkward placement for older HDD's, 3. The slots for the graphic's card or the WI-FI card do not line up with the case, therefore the HDMI & display port plugs will not fully connect. corrected by using dermal tool to sand down edge, be careful not much material needs to be removed. could have used tin snips on case, but hate to cut on day one. Engineering problem? 4. Extra cabling just stuffed behind back panel, took five minutes to untangle plus 15 minutes rerouting cables around sharp edges of case. Now, all this sounds bad but it isn't. I am running the be-gees out of this system with 3 40" monitors, 1 24" Viewsonic touch screen all at 1920-1200 res 60hz, 2 iPad Air 2's (WI-WI), DVD optical drive, Logitech X45 stick & throttle, Logitech Pro Flight Yoke System with 2nd throttle quadrant and pedals. All USB and with an aircraft headset. According to the developer software (at MSI site) I am still only using around 70% of CPU cycles and at a temp of 50C. I am happy with the system and price as I did not want to build another computer. For what I required, it met all my current and some of my future needs. Good mid level gaming machine.

Buying pre-built PCs can be confusing and scary, but this iBuyPower Desktop is working great! When you buy a gaming PC, buying the Intel version and not getting anything overclocked seems to be the way to go. I previously tried an AMD machine and had nothing but freezes and thought getting a good pre-built PC was hopeless (of course every situation differs and it's sort of like a silicon lottery with these pre-built boards), but this PC is performing beautifully! With 6 cores, 3.2 GHz base, and 4.6 GHz boost, the CPU is a power beast which helps me in my software development work. With 3 DisplayPorts out, and 1 additional HDMI port out, there's plenty of ports to run 3-4 monitors at once. DDR4 2666 MHz (as that's what is Max with this CPU Model) (specs on this listing are listed wrong) The RTX 2070 runs like a dream. The Gigabyte version of this card runs at the listed rate of between 1750MHz-1825MHz - this is nice, stable, fast, and GREAT!!! The Battlefield V that comes with the free bundle looks fantastic now that it's been patched for better performance on RayTracing (DXR Reflections run great on Ultra) and DLSS enabled which boosts that performance and allows me to leave Ultra setting on everything. Inside the case are glowing RGB colors which you have to use the App that is on your desktop to control. The Gigabyte version of the RTX 2070 8 GB DDR6 is a perfect match for the mid-range PC Gamer!!

Though I have been a heavy gamer for a while, I always played on console. On Black Friday I was looking through deals and found this PC. It was on sale for $1,300, which amazed me for the parts of this computer. First of all, I will give an over-view of the computer for people who are not as tech-savvy. Whether you are buying this for your kid, yourself, or anyone who is not a professional gamer, this will be sufficient for most. You will be able to easily run any game at 1080p max settings with above 60 FPS. In Fortnite with my favorite settings (what many pro's use) I get at LEAST 200 FPS. Other more difficult titles will still usually run at over 100 FPS. For people who know more about computers, this is a great deal. For those who are not familiar with the RTX models, this RTX 2070 would be comparable to a GTX 1070Ti-GTX 1080. The eighth gen i-7 CPU is also a beast and will be more than enough for any casual gamers. Investing in an SSD rather than an HDD is a great benefit. It will speed up boot times, and make the entire computer more responsive. To sum it up, this a great price to performance computer for those who want to step up their experience to the next level and who are worried to build their own. As somewhat of a computer enthusiast, I would give this my seal of approval.

I generally build my own but my last two machines have been prebuilt simply due to being the most cost effective and time effective way to get a new rig. Pros: Good Performance Fair for the cost Motherboard has room for expansions Case has room for expansion 1 SSD and 2 IDE's, some might miss them because they are a plates screwed in. Cons No RGB Remote. I have yet to find the software to control it. CPU Fan is not stock, but basic after market. Idle temps at 55-60 degrees Celsius, goes up to about 70 while playing games. Will have to replace this fan for a better one, wish they spent a little bit more to put in a cool master 212 or something it's only a $35 fan i'm sure they could buy in bulk and keep cost down. The box shows a water cooler for some reason lol. Windows is on a CD, but no CD drive, why is this not on a thumb drive? Wouldn't cost much to do this. Case has room for more fans, but the motherboard is limited to 2 sysfan connectors, so be prepared to buy daisy chain converters to. All in all, i'm going to need to input at least $70 more into the cooling the rig, I would of preferred they did this and charged just a little bit more so I don't have mess with it. I received the MSI B360M Bazooka Main Board. MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8GB. (Only has 1 HDMI port, no DVI) So be prepared to use Display Ports. The RAM is ADATA DDR4-2666 / PC4-21300 DDR4 SDRAM UDIMM Still I am satisfied and would buy ibuypower again.

I bought this item on black friday with a Sansung monitor 1. the output of VGA and DVI do not work even the HMDI slot has no video output, the only video connection that works the computer is the HDMI slot on the video card, the computer only works well one day, 2. The next day the speakers started to fail, not audio at all, only with the headphones. 3. the monitor( new one bought it same day} shows purple dots all around it. (please see the photos). 4. I called the technical support of ibuypower, more than two hours dialing the number 626-269-5200 until finally someone answered, I told the representative the problems I have, the guy very rude and rushed in their answers, he recommend me that I have to update the motherboard drivers (MSI B360M PRO-VDH and the NVIDIA RTX 2070 video card drivers, and nothing of this solved the problem of the audio and that of the purple dots on the monitor ( new monitor Sansung]. 5. I called again , and another rude guy and rushed also told me me to use another HDMI cable, I said but if I'm using the one that came with the monitor, which is new too. But he followed with his same version that is sure the cable, I went to my TV which has an Audio Quest Carbon HDMI, and the problem is not solved. 6. I call again and they tell me that I have to send the computer to repair. 7. I did a complete factory reset and still the same problem. It is incredible that this company does not have remote technical service.  I'm going to return this computer.

I needed something with MEAT and TATERS....and....I received everything I asked for and THEN SOME. I recently became physically disabled, confined to a wheelchair, and needed something to help me occupy my time. I am an avid Graphic Artist, working with VERY HIGH RESOLUTION projects that are also of considerable SIZE and QUALITY. I am also an old DJ and AUDIOPHILE, who has always played with MIXING, RE-MIXING, and LOFTY DREAMS of producing. So, I wanted something that I would NEVER get ANOTHER BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH due to low system resources....PROBLEM SOLVED....My sales associate was beyond knowledgeable about the few HIGH END gaming computers offered in store. EVERY SINGLE QUESTION was handled wonderfully. He listened intently to my explanations of the type of work that I do and although he was more knowledgeable in the gaming side of things he never waivered by meeting me head on and together, with my savings from disability checks helped me to purchase the BEST POSSIBLE MACHINE for my money. Good premade system

My old tower that i built towards the end of 2007 and had sporadically been updating in the last 11+ years finally crapped out to the point where i decided i needed to either start fresh or buy something pre-made. After about 8 straight hours of price hunting for parts to build and pre-made systems, and factoring the fact that i am going to be moving soon and work overtime hours, i decided to go with buying one pre-made that was available to pick-up in-store. I feel like i'm getting a pretty good build for the price. My old tower got used for gaming, work, and being a media server (the last few years it had almost exclusively been the last). The case isn't setup to accommodate extra storage or optical drives, at least not the 4 HDDs i have from my old tower. I am buying an external enclosure for that, but i'm not marking off for it since this would have been the case with any PC i would have bought. I've run a few Benchmarks on it like GFXBench, and it's hurled out some good triple digit framerates. I was able to get going and download my usual group of apps within a couple of hours. I elected to use the Logitech keyboard and mouse that i already have instead of the ones included with the system. They look alright, but not as good as what i already have. I took off 1 star for a couple of minor things. When screwing in the WiFi antennae, i managed to pop the connector loose inside the case. I was able to reach around between the rear and CPU fans to tighten it back up, and the WiFi is working just fine. There is also limited documentation included with the system. I had to look up online where to find the software controls for the RGB lighting. Also, they included a DVD with Graphics drivers which seems silly considering there is no optical drive in this thing.

I bought this for $1299 + tax (basically $200 off). Pros: - MSI Nvidia RTX 2070 ($500 retail price), Intel Core i7-8700 ($370 retail price), 16GB RAM (~$100 retail price), 1TB WD Green SSD ($115 retail price) and Windows 10 Home ($100 retail price) bundled in a $1299 bundled PC already. Basically to get the same components in retail would have cost around $1200 anyway, but here for $1300 I got the whole PC - It was pretty much plug and play without any hassle. Basically I was up and running with 10 mins after unboxing it. As a matter of fact, my need for this machine was for deep learning so within 15 mins, I was able to wipe out the OS and get it up and running on Ubuntu 18.04 without any issue (the only extra work was to install the NVidia driver) Cons: - The motherboard is ASRock B360M IB-R1 which is a very simple motherboard for a gaming PC. I mean, its not like this a bad motherboard or anything, but it definitely lacks in firepower. But then again, for the given spec it works perfectly fine. - The 16GB RAM is from a brand that I have never heard of. Not sure about it's performance in the long run. - The SATA SSD is 1TB WD Green. I would have been happier if they would have at least given 1TB WD Blue (which has better performance). Basically 1TB WD Green is probably the cheapest SSD of its kind which is barely better than the fastest HDD. Oh well, at least its an SSD and not an HDD That being said, the PC works perfectly fine. In the next couple of months, I will upgrade the SATA SSD to an NVMe SSD, upgrade the motherboard to something better and finally upgrade the 16GB RAM to 32GB RAM. Once that, I think this PC would be great.

Just purchased this comp last night after my old comp went down. I did not want to wait to go get parts and build a new one so I made an impulse purchase on this comp. So far, after updating Windows, my experience is pretty good. I'm only really now looking at reviews and prices for the components that come in this computer and its looking like this is a decent bargain for what you get. Pros: Easy to set up Powerful cpu, grapics card, 1TB SSD, 16GRAM Quiet Lots of room for expansion Some other review mentioned the easy of upgradability so I'd like to point that out too. Cons: Looks like a bargain motherboard and cpu fan (I love those high durability after market boards from ASUS and Gigabyte) To me, a comp in this price range should have one of those nice motherboards in it but this should do the trick just fine for at least a couple years. Overall I believe this is a great computer for the price and my local Bestbuy made it a little too easy for me to so yes to making this large purchase. It was really convenient - they had this badboy IN STOCK - no waiting to get one shipped to store. I wish I got this at Black Friday prices but I just realized I may qualify for a birthday discount after purchase! Happy Gaming!

My HP Pavilion crashed after many years of service, and I needed a machine I could transfer my old hard drives into. After looking at various desktop models, it became apparent the manufacturers were no longer building scalable machines at a reasonable price point for the more demanding consumer. Further, the need to get a new machine up and running quickly was critical, and I could not wait to mail order. Fortunately, Best Buy had this IBUYPOWER BB952 available. At first I was skeptical. I had never purchased a gaming machine before, but this machine had all the features I was looking for; an Intel I7, 16GB memory, 1TB SSD, and an abundance of expandability. Though not a huge draw for me, it also has an adequate graphics card. After finally installing my old hard drives into the new system, I have to admit, I am very pleased with this machine so far. Its fast and relatively quiet. I use the machine to develop websites and photo/video editing. So far, this machine handles everything I need to do and more. I do have some criticisms. First, cable management within the cabinet is atrocious. The 650W power supply is awesome, but the cables were just stuffed inside. The other issue I had was lack of documentation. I realize these are not complex machines, but I could not find an owner's manual for this machine on the IBUYPOWER website. If its there, I can't find it. All in all, a great machine out of the box. Fast, quiet and expandable. The ability to change the color scheme is kinda cool too.

I didn't plan on buying this PC at first, but the RTX2070 in it had me taking another look. My last PC was built in 2011, so it was way overdue for an upgrade. I was looking at building my own with a GTX1070, but this was just too convenient since it was on sale. So, I figured I'd hop on the RTX band wagon in the hopes that it'll "future proof" my PC for a little bit longer than my last one. Internal wise, it was exactly what I was looking for in a gaming PC. I decided to pay the premium for the convenience of it already being built and "delivered." As in, it was already there on the shelf at my local store for me to pick up instead of paying shipping for all the parts, waiting, potentially waiting longer if any parts were damaged during shipping, then building it, and installing the OS if I built it myself. I was happily surprised at the fact that there was practically no junk software to uninstall aside from the usual optional software coming from the Windows updates. After removing the packing material from inside the case, it was ready to go without any hassle. The included mouse and keyboard is a nice gesture, but they're really only there to get you by until you decide to replace them with your own preferred mouse and keyboard. If you're on the fence about wanting to get a gaming PC, but not wanting to or uncomfortable with the idea of building it yourself, I highly recommend this PC. All you'd really need is this, and a G-Sync monitor and you're set.

The performance of this PC is pretty good, though I am disappointed about a few issues. The case seems to be excessively large with room for expansion yet there aren't very many places to mount extra hard drives. The box shows two pictures of a PC with a water cooling setup on the CPU, but this PC has a fan only. The specification sticker on the side has a couple of errors: it states that the video card is a nVidia RTX 2080 but the PC contains a RTX 2070. The water cooling CPU is mentioned here as well. This PC has Windows 10 Home installed but the restore disc is for Windows 10 Professional. I can see that as a big problem because the Windows license is recorded in the bios and might make restoring the C: drive impossible. Although I feel that this PC was well built, there is a lot of misrepresentation and its disappointing to find a product that isn't consistent with the labeling. As other's have mentioned there is no owner's manual even though the box states that one is included. I gave this product three stars because its decent for what it is but I lost all excitement after I opened the box and found the disappointments.

Overall, very pleased with this desktop (bought for my wife). Purchase price and hardware provided great value, offering a significant bang for the buck. Love the fact that there's a great video card - no need to upgrade in the near future. I really appreciated the fact that this was not loaded with any bloatware (adds & product offers). This fact alone will make me consider other iBUYPOWER products in the future when it's time to replace my system. Hardware configuration is sufficient for almost all users except those serious gamers. The downside to the hardware configuration is upgrade limitations. NOTE: This does not come with a CD/DVD Drive! Don't expect to easily add an internal optical drive accessible from the front of the box. An external add is the only practical, cheap and easy option. The motherboard is small and not feature rich but quite sufficient. An Internal hard drive can be added but not easily due to the case design/layout. For my wife's use and applications this system is probably overkill and won't require an upgrade for it's expected life. I must say that I'm impressed at the system speed, how cool the desktop stays and the minimal noise from the fans (undetectable under the desk). If you're satisfied with this hardware and don't have extensive upgrade plans, I highly recommend this product. Everything worked out of the box. The desktop was well packed and protected. If you're unsure of the hardware configuration and/or upgrade options, visit a store that stocks these and check it out.

Purchased this right before Christmas and am just now getting around to fully checking everything out. This PC is a great gaming PC and when you can get it on sale for $300 less it’s a much greater deal. Boot time is amazing. Within seconds you are at the desktop after pushing the badly placed power button. I have tried several games, and none have bogged down, lagged, stuttered, or failed. Very pleased with the graphics card. Have ran everything on max settings and had zero issues. The LED lights are cool, and it comes with a little remote to change the colors or patterns. I keep mine on solid red because the changing of colors messes with my eyes. You can also turn this off with the remote. So far there are only 3 cons about this PC that I have. The first is that it does not come with a CD/DVD drive, fixable with the purchase of an external cd/DVD drive. The 2nd is the keyboard. It looks cool, but it's cheap and feels like something you would use on a kid toy computer. I will be upgrading the keyboard for sure. 3rd is the placement of the power button and the USB ports on the top of the computer. The power button works nice, but its very sensitive and my cats have stepped on it several times and turned the pc on. 4th the front USB ports are nice to have, but again they are on top and when you have something plugged in they stick up. Not something that I can’t get past, would just rather have them on the front of the pc.

Excellent gaming PC, but needs better start guide.

BB952 review: PROS: --Well packaged. self-expanding foam secured the GPU snugly in its motherboard slot. --Great bang for the buck: on sale $1299(3/9/19), free shipping, free game(be sure to give your email because that's how the code is received for Anthem/Metro Exodus/Battlefield V choice). --So far, running the following games perfectly on an LG 32GK850F monitor at >60fps, high/ultra settings, 1440p resolution, HDR, Freesync/G-Sync enabled: Anthem, Division 2, Forza Horizon 4, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Doom(no HDR). CONS: --The quick start guide does not mention connecting the WIFI antennas. Only by reading these fellow BestBuy reviews did I know to look out for them in the parts bag. --No documentation at all about the case lighting. Some reviews here mention a remote control. Other reviews mention software. I didn't get a remote, so I looked in Windows Control Panel and saw programs for ASRRGBLED, MSI Mystic Light, and Razer Chroma. Process of elimination: no Razer peripherals, the MSI program didn't work. For my model, it turns out the ASRRGBLED program controls the lighting. For future buyers, please give some guidance.

Bottom line, if you want to get into PC gaming, this is a machine well worth the money. I'd say this maching is intermediate rather than entry level as you get higher performing components than the entry level ones. Which if you are going to want to play Fortnite or Call of Duty at Ultra or higher performing levels, this will do just fine. LOVE the RGB in the case. I am going to upgrade to RGB memory and fans to really set it off. If you are going to be doing CPU tasking items like Video Editing or streaming, this is a great entry level machine to handle those CPU intensive tasks. The aesthetics and upgradability are top notch. I have already added additional storage and it was a snap. My only complaint is that mine did not come with antennas for the PCI wifi card. I happen to have extras so wasn't a big deal. I highly recommend this PC if you are wanting to get into PC gaming as it handles the latest titles very well.
