I just picked this up at my local best buy. They had in stock and ready to go, I also picked up an additional 2 TB hard drive as this one only had the 1 TB SSD installed. When I got it home it was well packed and secured. It also included a gamers keyboard and mouse. As I already have a higher end Keyboard and Mouse I will be using those instead. It was easy to find and install the 3.5 inch hard drive mount on the non glass side of the unit. Note: I also had to buy a SATA cable with hard drive not included. The 2TB hard drive was easy to mount but the SATA cable was a little difficult to plug in because of the location of the port but I was able to get it installed. I would have given a 5 star if not for the sloppy cable management under the metal cover. All the wires were loose and just haphazardly stuffed in. I had to untangle them and locate my plugs and had a difficult time closing up the case because of this. I am having problems getting my serial numbers off off the Video card which appears to be an ASUS card to submit for warranty information and will probably need to take it out. Other than that it was well packaged and once my new HD was installed it fired right up. The RGB case lights are nice. The computer went through start up no problem and appears to be running pretty quickly. Due to my location and internet service I cannot fully review its gaming speeds as I am currently downloading all my games. I am running Dual monitors and they were easy to connect and were easily recognized by the video card. One other thing I need to confirm and verify is online it stated it came with Battlefield 5, Anthem and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 digital download bundles free with purchase of qualifying RTX 2080 cards. I expected to find digital download cards in the packaging but there were none, I do not know if this is an I buypower promotion, Nvidia Graphics card promotion or a best buy promotion it does not clearly state how to claim. I will be following up with best buy on my next visit. I am excited and looking forward to running and testing this system.

Sooooooo... My wife and I bought two of these machines (Didn't really wanna build again) looking to upgrade from our 5 year old gaming PC's. As we were leaving the store the excitement and anticipation of how beautiful and flawless the games we play would be kept building. We safely got out two new adoptions home and carefully unboxed and set them up. The left side of the case is tempered glass which lets you peer inside the machine to look at all the pretty RGB lighting (wife and I could care less about RGB) going on inside. I inspected the components of the machines and found our GPU's, RAM, SSD's, and PSU's to be different from one another. In all fairness, iBuyPower does use what the have around their facility to build the machines. The machines were then setup and powered on, games installed, and then moment of truth. GLORIOUS! Oh SO GLORIOUS, for the first hour... That's when the machine I'd setup at my wifes desk started to BSOD. RAM... The RAM was complete crap. 16GB of some crap brand called APACER. I used MemTest86 to be sure it was the RAM and it showed almost 1M errors within. Did I take her machine back to BestBuy? No. I did some trouble shooting. I placed the RAM from my machine in hers and whaddaya know, no errors. Did I THEN take the machine back? No, I did what any PC savvy person would do... I ordered RAM from Amazons PrimeNow to get things going. Long story short, it's not their fault the RAM was dead, these things can happen. Would I recommend the machines, most definitely. They are powerful, and CRUSH any game I throw at it. Anthem at Ultra - Check. BFV at Ultra - Check. Roblox at Ultra - CRUSHES IT!!! I've included pictures so you can get a basic idea of what components MIGHT be in there if you purchase one. Good luck, and good gaming!

    Nice Gaming PC

I'm using this pc with a 240 hz gaming monitor and it has worked great for the games that were included: Call of duty Black Ops 4, Battlefield 5 and Anthem. I got it mainly for Ark Survival Evolved, Overwatch, Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft. I've been using gaming laptops since 2013 and haven't had a real gaming desktop since 2007. It's a nice step up from a 980m. In Overwatch it has made my input lag go down from 10 sim to like 3.5. Also never dip below 240 fps at 1080p, making full use of my 240 hz gaming monitor. Had a game as tracer where in 5 secs I killed 3 players on the point just by finishing them off with head shots, receiving 3 gold medals that game. I'm playing in 1080p but loving the frame rate. 4k would run good I believe, I'm just not ready to spend money on a 4k monitor yet. This computer is perfect for the ultimate 1080p experience of course. I like having the cpu water cooled and the rgb lighting; two things I wanted for my gaming rig. Wifi works great even though my wifi modem is on the other side of the house and Bluetooth is also present. It's nice to not have to buy those additional things. I'm not using the included mouse and keyboard but it's nice to have a back up. The start up and shut down speed are great and the 1tb ssd was also a major factor for me besides the RTX 2080. Docking a star because it went down in price by $50 2 days after it arrived and the power supply was 650w. The computer works good, it's just after reading the Q & A and reviews before my purchase, it looked like some people got 750W or 850w power supplies. I avoided other computers while shopping because of low power supplies but oh well, the computer works good. I added a 2tb 7200 rpm drive for game/video storage and an additional 16 gb of ram without issue. Overclocking is possible and gave me 1k more points in 3dmark Firestrike but I run everything amazingly well without having to overclock. I've only crashed when playing Ark but after fixing some settings I don't crash anymore for many hours and enjoying fluid 1080p framte rates which have helped me kill a bird with a slingshot and I normally got killed by those on my gaming laptop lol. Hard for me to go back and make use of my gaming laptop after playing with this computer. Is it my dream computer? It's close, I wanted to future proof with a higher power supply and 9th generation i7 but the price fit my budget.

Well made with great components and very fast !! I pre-ordered this item and it was well worth the wait. This is the third iBuypower PC that I have purchased at Best Buy and they all work great. This unit has name brand components: Motherboard is iBuypower version of Astek Z370M Pro4, Video card is MSI Geforce RTX 2080 Ventus 8gb, SSD is 1 terabyte Adata and Memory is Adata. Not to mention the cpu is 8700k and it is water cooled. The motherboard has two m2 slots free and two DDR4 memory slots free so plenty of room for expansion. The case is beautiful and the unit is whisper quiet even under full load. I have used it more for business but my family has played games and the frame rates are insane and everyone loves it. If you add up the cost of the components, you could never build a unit for this price. With the money I saved (compared to building it myself) I purchased the extended warranty from Best Buy and still came out ahead. My first computer was an Apple II and for the last twenty three years I built my own windows PC's so I can tell good build quality and this computer is extremely well built and very high quality. I know some customers will not like the fact that iBuypower can change component sources, so they cannot guarantee the exact brand and model for the components, but you need to understand that is how they get such a good price. And for this computer and the other two models of iBuypower that I bought, they all had name brand top quality components. I can recommend this computer highly and without reservations. Just buy the extended warranty with the money you save and you get an awesome product and peace of mind!!

Great computer but some small complaints

Overall I absolutely love this computer but I just have a couple small complaints that probably wouldn't effect most people. My only small but worrying complaint was when I first received my product the first thing I noticed was the radiator LED were strobing when set to static with the color blue. Not a big problem I just had to change the color to a different color scheme that didn't use the faulty blue lighting. After some time of a week I was able to go back to the blue static color and all seemed good and I am having no more issues. Another small issue I had was the expectation of overclocking. Since it had a water cooler I thought this motherboard could be overclocked to the extreme. Sadly I was disappointed that the AsRock Motherboard included didn't have as many overclocking bells and whistles as their Taichi x370 motherboard line. But I was still able to achieve a 5ghz overclock on the processor just couldn't tune everything I wanted. The last and final issue I had is with the power supply. I was shocked it wasn't modular and the cable management was a mess in the back when I went to add two more hard drives in the hard drive mounting brackets in the back. This made me quickly change it out with a EVGA 750 watt power supply that was modular so I could make the case clean and easy to add new components to the machine and remove unnecessary wires from the case. But with those complaints out of the way this computer runs amazing! I am able to not only render 4k video in amazing time frames but also play all my favorite games at high resolution at 144hz or higher at 1440P! If you don't want to build a high powered machine but wan't something quick and easy to setup for yourself this is absolutely a great buy!

It's a decent build in regards to price for parts if you can get it while on sale, though I was slightly annoyed with the cable management out of the box (Not that big of a deal, but I can be a little OCD at times). The power supply is non-modular, so all the extra wires get crammed into the space right behind it. The Keyboard and Mouse feel cheaply made, but that's somewhat expected. The case is pretty solid with a sleek design, and has the front fan plus 2 rear fans sandwiching the radiator for the cpu liquid cooler. The dust screens are cheaply made, and don't cover the entire front opening; However they are more or less completely hidden from view, so they won't stick out like a sore thumb. The RGBs are nice, but there is no documentation in the box on where to adjust or change them. So if you plan to do a clean install of windows like I did, I recommend going through the initial setup long enough to find those programs and make note of them for later. You can also just search for the programs later with the PC model number if you prefer. I can't complain about performance with an i7-8700K and GTX 2080, and even though it came with Adata RAM, it's still 16GB of functioning RAM. It came packaged fairly secure, and even had expanded foam inside the case to support the larger components. All in all, it's not a bad deal if you can find a good sale.

    Powerful Gaming Desktop

I bought this to save time and money versus building a new desktop for my daughter. I liked that it had the Intel 3.7 CPU and Nvidea 2080 Video card (mine is a Gigabyte OC). I was looking for a 1 TB SSD hard drive, as well as a roomy case with glass door and lights. It worked out of the box and if I had no idea what I was doing, it would have been pretty easy to get going. I also liked the financing so I can pay it off over 18 months with no interest. There are a few cons that potential buyers should know. The motherboard is pretty cheap having been designed for this model and is hard to get support for. They give you no utilities to update drivers for the built in devices. This bothers me because I am used to getting everything to support the product going forward and they give you nothing. I have however downloaded some applications from the asrock.com website using other models since this one is not listed and can update some of the drivers like audio. The RAM is equally cheap. I am thinking of replacing it with something faster and more appealing for a case like this. My power supply was only a 650 Watt, which is the bare minimum required for the video card in this system. A 750 or higher would have been more appropriate and this one is not modular so it has a lot of unnecessary cables hidden in the back. Overall, it seems like a good system for the price and financing (which is why I bought it) or for someone who doesn't know how to build one and is in a the market for a gaming PC. I made a few adjustments to this PC right away, like a 4 TB Sata Drive for extra storage and a PCI USB 3.0 card to to give more 3.0 connections in the back, but they were not necessary to enjoy the PC out of the box. Happy shopping!

Great Pre-Built PC for the price

I got this PC for the Deal of the Day price of $1499.00 and it has been an awesome experience so far. Simple and easy hook up straight out of the box and my PC came with the MSI version of RTX 2080. The price alone with all the great parts and specs were enough for me to instantly buy this rig. I have done good amount of research about building my own PC around the same specs and you would roughly pay the same amount for what you're getting. Best Buy and iBuyPower is saving you time, effort, and headaches with this PC without you having to buy all the necessary parts from elsewhere. So take advantage of it! Everything runs fast, quiet, and sleek and I will use this PC for my business, gaming, video editing, etc. It is a beast of a machine that can handle any task you throw at it. It also has bluetooth capability despite saying otherwise on the specification list. So you CAN get this hooked up to your wireless devices out of the box. I don't have a legit 144hz monitor yet so I got this hooked up to my 4k 50" Samsung TV and everything is running smoothly. It can handle 4k resolution with 50-60 frames easily for the games that I am running. I am looking forward to upgrading the ram of this PC in the future and the RTX 2080 should last me couple of years. I would pull the trigger on this PC if you're on the brink of your decision. Would recommend it if you can get it while it is on sale 100%!!!

I originally purchased this system at full price, and I was able to enjoy the system for Battlefield 5. I was very impressed with the price of the system with a 2080 RTX built into it. At the time of purchase, I saw that there was an HP Omen available at 1500 with about the same specs as this, but after looking over the configuration, it did not have a water cooling system, a decent power supply for upgrading, a bigger form factor for airflow, overclocking available, and extra spots for memory. All of these items were present in this current system. The price for the iBuyPower ended up dropping 200 dollars, and that made up for the difference that I saw in the HP system. I was able to price match, thanks to Best Buy's price match guarantee, and that helped to make my decision much more solid. Pros: 4 slots for memory, plenty of space for hard drives, and M.2 Slots are available. Fast and Responsive in Games, 100+ FPS in the most intense games. Overclocking ability. Cons: The one downside that I found with this system, is that it cannot do SLI. It has the slots for it, and the space, but the motherboard is a Crossfire only motherboard. Not a big deal, but it stops some upgrading. Overall, if you would like to have a system that has the ability to be upgraded in most parts of the system, and should last in video games for 3-5 years, this is a great system. All of the parts are from respectable computer component manufacturers and iBuyPower has a great warranty service to go along side it.

So out of the box there were some issues. First, some of the ports were loose. One of the WIFI antenna ports was so loose the antenna couldn't stand up on it. The USB's on top were also not tight. So all that needed to be fixed. Then when trying to fire up for the first time I got stuck in a loop of windows faling to load, please restart. After searching youtube I found a pretty easy fix that did work. Hold Shift and F10, type regedit....that's the video to follow if you find it. A few other bugs as well, like the windows store being completely dead. I will have to reload that from somewhere else. I ended up upgrading from my usual 4 port USB expansion to 7 due to there only being 6 in total out of the box. Once everything was situated, the device is incredibly speedy and handles a high work load. The graphics card is worth every penny. It's $700 stock and is really have the cost of this PC almost. They include 2 disks, one for y our windows installation, and 1 for NVidia, which is pointless with no disc drive. you would have to buy and install one in a pinch. All in all, I was a little aggravated that I had to trouble shoot so many things with this high price tag. For $1800 bucks I want plug in play, not to fix shotty work by whoever put this thing together. And really, test to make sure windos is installed correctly. Seems like basic stuff to be doing if you are putting together and selling PC's. The light up features are pretty cool. Its not as loud as I thought it would be. Adding or removing drives will be a cinch with the glass wall easily removed. Still to me, out of the box functionality is worth 5 stars. Having to tighten ports and fix windows cost it the 5 star review. I would not recommend for the inexperienced user.

In the past 11 months I've been through 2 HP Omens. $2800 dollars later, (Discounted) I began to have more issues. I went to bestbuy once again and the computer experts told me how they wanted to punch the next person who sold somebody an Omen. I asked why and they began to explained to me how big of a fire hazard they are as well as how cheaply made they are. Not to mention it had a knock off RTX 2080 and the tower kept shocking me. (I contacted HP once a week for 5 months and they never responded) Bestbuy offered me an even exchange for the ibuypower tower, for the same price, you're getting name brand parts, an overclockable 8700k, a REAL RTX 2080, better ventilation and a liquid cooler. They even include a gaming mouse and keyboard. I've only had the computer for a day but I CANNOT EMPHASIZE HOW GREAT IBUYPOWER IS! I can't believe they actually send you paperwork thanking you for buying their product along with ways you can reach out to them if you have an issue. I already notice a HUGE performance upgrade from the omen. There is one issue worth noting though... they send you two black things that look like screwdrivers... turns out they are ANTENNAS. Your wifi will not work properly if you do not put them on your PC. It took me a couple hours to figure it out but now the system works flawlessly! Hopefully this review helped!

I recently picked this bad boy up to give it a shot, mostly because I was to lazy to want to build one myself. I will admit I was worried and unsure what I would get out of it. I mean the specs are awesome and price wasn't bad. Could have saved maybe a few hundred build it myself but I was lazy and didn't want to take the time and effort. This is close enough to what I would start with a build anyway. Got it home and fired it up, quick and easy no long installations or anything. Install the drivers and get your personal apps and programs on there and your gaming. I dropped right in at ultra settings, 1440p pitucre, 120 -150 fps it was great no issues. Well till I noticed the GPU was running hot and would have kept climbing if I would have let it. The cpu and gpu can run it no problem but that's we're the tweaks come. It definitely lacks on cooling, it needs more fans which there are 2 slots waiting or some liquid cooling when I overclock it. The motherboard isn't great either but works just fine. Drawback is just gotta turn the settings back a bit and fine tune it and it was running anything I want just in a little less quality. It runs 20 c doing random stuff and 60 - 70 c gaming out with no problem. I expected parts would needed to be replaced and changed around and this is a great start as a base for me to turning it to the beast it can be. I can game out and upgrade peacefully over the next few months. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Memory Upgradeable to 64GB and NVME M.2 Capable

There are plenty reviews out here on this PC already and they are mostly accurate. This is a solid machine with excellent performance. However, I struggled with finding a solid answer with regards to upgrading the RAM, so now that I own it, here is my experienced review. Yes, the RAM is upgradeable to 64GB. I actually upgraded mines to 64GB and added a 1TB 2.5 Solid State Drive (SSD) and another 1TB NVME - M.2 SSD SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS in addition to the 1TB SSD it comes with. The NVME drive I added is the small slim SSD that looks like a computer chip that has to be attached directly to the mother board. The read speed on this particular SSD is 3,500 MB/s vs the 550 MB/s on a standard SSD. With these upgrades everything works perfect. FYI - Installing any memory upgrade with speeds over 2666 MHZ, will require you to modify/overclock the BIOS settings a bit to use the higher speeds. It's super easy to do though and takes one minute. These are two things I was trying to research prior to my purchase and was unable to find straight answers to, so I wanted to write a quick review on them. Hope this helps the next person.

The iCore7 processor and the SSD which encompassed the entire 1TB of RAM were key in choice over other PCs. Space to add another 16GB memory card and the newest NVIDIA graphics card were also great! Liquid cooling was a bonus. Very quiet machine! The price was also better than expected with the included components and was better than other PCs. This should last my son through high school, which was a requirement. Best Buy store manager at Brick NJ was really helpful because I had a lot of notes and read a lot of online opinions regarding different components and their performances in different PCs. He cut through the chaos and asked me the right questions. He also said that he owned this computer and was very satisfied with its gaming capability. In the end, I was very comfortable with my choice (and I had labored over for the details for two months before Christmas.) Setup was quick and easy. I probably need to bump up the speed on my internet speed to keep up, though. My son says his Frames per Second (FPS) in Fortnite are over 1000 now and that has upped his game. LOL! Minecraft FPS is over 300. We did not utilize the mouse and keyboard that come with this PC, even though they are labeled for gaming and online reviews said that they are capable units. We bough RAZER accessories at Best Buy. We will leave the included units in box for backup. Very satisfied after 3 weeks of play!

Seems from My reading the reviews before I bought this i had A 75% chance of a good Machine. I bought two one was Perfect Asus 2080 Gaming Ram even a 390 Motherboard. My 2nd one had the Cheapest ram Possible, a 370 Motherboard and MSI 2080 and the Ram Kept Popping weird errors the Machine was Slow as a dog compared to the other one. Before I bought These I looked at consumer Reports and Ibuypower has Several complaints unresolved. A Kudos to Best buy, After Calling them they immediately Sent Me a replacement which comes tomorrow. The cheap parts don't Bother me as Long as the System Works. This company Could be the Best I ever bought from if They Didn't Send one good Machine , then One Cheaped out.. I saw This happens alot nobody gets the Same Parts. I don't think the 2080 makes much difference. But switching $200 of Gaming Ram to $50 of Cheap ram Kills the whole package. I gave it 4 stars because the Cheap Ram that Seems to be installed could just me some mistake or employee theft.. I noticed in Applications Several Weird Ram Patch Programs Either way the Second Machine was Broken.. Again thank you Best Buy.. For being so quick to Help me BB's service was Fantastic 5 stars to them..

I love the computer. It loads fast and moves right along. If you're a gamer, or intense user. This is the machine for you. The reason I knocked a star off is because I had an issue. I bought the computer and wanted the ram to be upgraded to 32 GB. They didn't have the 2666 mhz ram, but said it could take up to 3200 mhz. They had 3000 mhz in stock. So, I said yes, and had them install it. Got the system home, and it wouldn't boot up. Took it back the next morning, and after a couple of hours, and getting a new computer, they figured that the ram was bad. They asked if I needed 32 GB of ram. I said yes, and that I didn't want to go below the 2666 mhz that was in it. They replaced the ram, and tested it in the store. It booted up beautifully. Once I got done getting it set up, I looked at the system information. Only to find out that they installed 2400 mhz ram. They gave me the 32 GB but lowered the speed. This sort of ticked me off, because they never said anything about it at the store. They just did it like I would never figure it out, I guess.

I'm not a computer guru but know my way around a computer. For $2000 is not the best buy(haha) but for $1799 or even $1699 is alot better..So definitely recommend getting it on sale. Cable management was not the best but work just fine. Had lose cable tie things but was a easy fix!! Only the liquid cooler on the CPU and the front of the pc has lights on it. NO DVD player on this model and SD card reader :( I'll double check on the SD card but I didn't see it. Mother board has turbo mode but was off from factory . Just rapidly press del on start up to get mother board setup but I'm not recommending it ;) There only one fan on the front of the case(blowing in the case) and one for the liquid cooler blowing out. The 1tb ssd hard drive is awesome and a plus in my book. So over all for someone that doesn't have the time to build a pc this is a great option.

It's every thing that i could of dreamed of, it works, almost straight out of the box, (i say almost because there is the foam packaging that you must remove from inside of PC before booting it up, but that couldn't be simpler,) now despite what item description says, mine came with both bluetooth and wifi, i was expecting wifi, but not bluetooth capabilities straight out of the box, not sure if all units of this particular model are like this or what... but anywho, mine did. the only real downside is, in my opinion, the price point that best buy is selling this particular model for seeing as how amazon is selling the newer ibuypower desktop models with 9th generation processors for the same price... also, it would appear that this particular model makes you go out of your way to install an HDD (this model only comes with a 1 TB ssd, and that's it) extra sata cables are not included with this destop, nor with the hdd i bought, so i'm gonna have to special order a pair and a mounting tray/bracket for my hdd as well, as this desktop doesn't include any for a hdd by default. does come with an additional mounting bracket for another ssd if you can afford one though.

I bought this computer to try it out and see if it would perform well rather than building one myself. I was happy with the way it performed at first but after playing a few games for a few weeks I notice a drop in performance. The RAM in this computer is not the best. The CPU is great and GPU is way over kill. It seems to get really hot though. There is only one fan in the case and the CPU is water cooled but not sure of the brand of cooler. I personally feel that the harware combo is not very well fit together. I also was not impressed with the wiring. It was very cheap and was not ran well. I think the price is a bit much for the lack of quality. I would recommend building your own PC rather than buying this one. After one week of gaming my RAM is running at 90%, GPU at 100% and CPU is constantly in turbo. I don't believe this should be happening. I have not added any software that is not typical to normal gaming experiences. I am also not streaming. The motherboard looks cheap and I tried to look it up on ASROCK's website and it doesn't exist. Needless to say I am not very impressed with the quality versus the price. I would not recommend buying this PC. I would recommend building your own.

I was looking for a replacement to my old IBuyPower laptop so I decided to get a desktop this time around. Why the change? I wanted to get something that I could upgrade later on if I wanted. I mainly bought this because it said it had the RTx 2080 graphics card. The card itself is not bad. Sadly there are 1080 ti's that blow this card out of the water. The components on this machine are pretty good and it does start up really fast. My Windows 10 configuration was done pretty quick. In general terms I was pretty pleased with the machine. But there are several reasons why I took a star. 1. No dvd drive (most of "gaming" laptops do not included then. I find that kind of absurd) 2. No M2 drive either (I found other cheaper PC's with at least a 128 GB M2 and an additional 1 TB ) 3. No bay slots on the case for adding 3.5 or 2.5 drives 4. The manual is pretty useless I ended up buying a 1 TB M2 drive just to find out that IBuyPower did not include the necessary screws for tightening the M2 drive down on to the motherboard (Way to go IBuyPower....). In terms of the machine's performance I have no complains, but if you are a PC hobbyist who likes to tinker with your PC, then this is not the PC for you.
