Customers are saying

Customers admire the TraceMR Gaming Desktop's performance and graphics capabilities, frequently praising its ease of setup and excellent value for the price. However, some users reported issues with the CPU cooler and power supply, while others found the included keyboard needed improvement. The positive feedback on performance and graphics outweighs the negative comments regarding certain components.

Decent for acquiring a 30-series GPU

Specs on the unit I received (yours may vary): CPU: Intel Core i7-11700F 2.5 GHz 8-Core Processor Motherboard: Gigabyte B560M DS3H AC Micro ATX LGA1200 Memory: Neo Forza FAYE 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL15 GPU:Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB EAGLE OC SSD: Team T-Force VULCAN 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive HDD: Seagate Barracuda Compute 1 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home CPU Cooler: Cheap DeepCool single fan Fans: iBuyPower OEM RGB Case: iBuyPower OEM RGB PSU: ??? 600W Peripherals: Wired RGB iBuyPower mouse and keyboard Overall, decent if you're trying to get a GPU. Some of the parts are kind of cheap, like the RAM and the motherboard, but the case is nice, albeit not the best for cooling. You can take the front of the case off for better thermals, there's mesh behind the glass as shown in the picture. The cable management is good and everything worked fine out of the box, but the CPU cooler is totally ineffective at keeping the fiery 11th gen i7 cool. I'd highly recommend replacing it with something like a Noctua DH-15S. I'd also suggest getting a new PSU from a reputable brand like Seasonic, as a cheap one like the one in this build can fry your entire PC. It's unlikely, but it can happen. The memory was set to 3000Mhz on the base XMP profile, so that was nice, but I wouldn't try overclocking it unless you know what you're doing. Additionally, the processor cannot be overclocked. Good for starters but some of the parts can definitely use replacing.

I am very satisfied with this PC, the one I received brought a gigabyte aorus elite 3060 ti which stays really cool during gaming, only two problems with this is the cooler which I replaced with a CM hyper 212 black now it stays in the high 60s to low 70s during gaming and the other problem was the power supply that made so much noise when it was under load which I thought would give out because it seemed it was struggling to stay cool so I replaced it with a 750 watt seasonic PSU now it runs like it should. Would have give it 5 stars if it came the way I modified it. But other than that I'm pleased with the performance.

    Modern PC on a Budget

I was looking for a powerful gaming computer within my budget, and iBuyPower fit the bill. The model I bought was the TraceMR223i. I was happy to be able to get modern components within budget. I usually build my own computer but took a chance and I am not disappointed. Everything performs well on the computer. I've had it for about three weeks now, and don't have many complaints. Pros: -Modern CPU/Graphics card (not ones that are one/two generations old) -PC itself didn't have damage or scratches or missing items -Everything was installed correctly and seated well -Booted up the first time, installed OS, very little bloatware -Fast processing, downloading, rendering -"Brand name" Motherboard, CPU, Graphics Card -Good cable management -Well packaged Cons: -Base CPU clock is low (2.5ghz), so it boosts quite often to 3.5 - 4 ghz in order to accommodate more intense tasks and sounds relatively loud doing so. (This is more of a CPU design feature than iBuyPower Issue) -NO DISK DRIVE -Came with 16GB DDR4 3000 Neo Forza RAM. It is just an off speed, when most a more common performant ram is DDR4 3200. (Cost saving measure with slower, off brand) -Cheapish ADATA SSD -Off brand PSU -Free mouse was damaged in box One other CON is that I've had issues playing modern games such as Call of Duty (COD) Warzone and Valorant. They played fine on Medium settings (I could have used MAX but chose not to) with HIGH FPS for about a week and a half. Then, COD updated and the game refuses to load on my PC. Don't know if this is because of the hardware being a problem, or faulty game code. All drivers and patches are up to date. I am not holding this against the computer manufacturer in my review, just a problem that should be pointed out. Overall I upgraded the RAM by adding 16GB more and I am happy with what I bought. When buying a budget gaming PC, they gotta cut costs some place, and the places they cut cost are not bad in my opinion (been building PC's for 12 years) The PC performed really well on Blender's benchmark, and I haven't had any major issues using it 6-8hrs a day.

This thing is a beast! Mine came with a gigabyte eagle oc and i know that not a lot of people like gigabyte, but i cant complain. ive played warzone at high settings and this thing ran it like a champ. ill probably replace the cpu cooler to something better and more quiet, still though, this thing runs cools. of course the mouse and keyboard arent the best but thats to be forgiven. my keyboard came defective, but i used my razer so, not the end of the world. all and all, witht he gpu market the way it is now a 3060ti and a solid build, you cant go wrong with this.

WARNING!! Do not use the included PSU (Power Supply Unit)! My PSU died in only 3 days and I was lucky it didn't take the rest of PC with it. I knew it was going to have to no name brand PSU and was planning on replacing the PSU soon with a 750W (comes with a 600W) so I wasn't too bothered bu if you're going to be cheap, the PSU is not the place to do it. NEVER use a PSU that's not from a reputable company! Failed PSU: High Power Model:HP1-J600GD-F12S With that said it's a decent price for what you get in today's market (which is a shame). Aesthetics are pleasing and the rest of the PC has decent hardware that came with it. However, know you will need to budget in a PSU and also a CPU cooling fan/heat sink (the one it came with is noisy and does a lousy job at cooling) as suggested in other posts. Motherboard: Gigabyte B560 DS3H Video: Gigabyte Eagle OC RAM: T-Force (generic version) SSD: M.2 WD Blue HDD: WD Blue

Unfortunately, the cheapest way to get a 3000 series GPU is to get a pre-built. This PC hits all the marks as other reviewers mentioned but cooling is where it lacks. Of course, getting a new GPU means you'd want to set all your games to ultra settings. It works at first but then your PC is cooking up a storm. The CPU cooler in this system is not enough to keep up with the heat output of the GPU and CPU. It's heavily recommended to purchase a new one such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212. The one in this pre-built just can't handle what inside. The power supply can also be a concern in the future as well. Rather than return it, i gave this PC to my brother as a "christmas gift" (although i let him know of the issues and how to fix them.

I received this as a gift for Christmas. And it is truly amazing. I love how the setup gives you the options to change colors or change the modes of it so you can truly customize how you want. I also love how the glass finish on the side gives you a true view on the inside of the setup, but also giving a mirror finish as well! Everything runs amazing on it, graphics, high-quality games, etc. It runs super-fast with the upload speed incredible. I originally wanted to build a PC setup, but due to the pandemic, that was not possible. But now, I don't need too since this one works incredibly well. Definitely recommend. :)

This computer is and has been perfect for everything I've needed to do on it. No problems as far as processing power or lack of memory go; this computer has been able to run any and all games I've played on it (including up to 80 gigabyte games such as Ark: Survival Evolved on max graphics). I would fully recommend this computer for any gaming purposes as it is magnificent and top tier for just that.

This computer runs like a dream. I’m so content with it, and I could not beat the sale price. I’m glad I was finally able to get my hands on a good deal with a great graphics card already installed. There are absolutely no hiccups with playing any of the three games I’ve already tried. The frames are staying up and not dropping at all.

Great machine! It arrives assemble, you only need to open it to remove the foam protection. The instructions that come with are pretty straightforward. Turn on and quickly install your windows. This machine is great for PC VR, design on Solidworks. I can barely hear the fan, only when VR is running hard (of course). The RGB lights, the design... it is really cool. The price? I don't believe you will find this specification with this price range in the market...forget about famous brands. The reasons are not 5 stars: - Missing an app where you can keep your machine updated - The website to download apps are kind of confusing - Gaming keyboard (a few) keys get stuck...which sucks for gaming

The PC itself seems pretty good, it is fast and can play games with high graphic settings, obviously, it is not the latest video card out there but it will do for most gamers. I like the size of the desktop itself as it gives me a lot of room to mess with it at some point. I hope this brand and the components are reliable but the support of iButpower is not that great, I would not recommend it. I asked for a new keyboard as the one that came with didn't work well and after days now, I do not have a replacement, I wasted so much time that at the end I ended up buying my own. FYI - I so not like the mouse and keyboard that comes with it and you should be prepared to buy better one. I like the heater feature when playing games my room gets nice and warm, if you get the point, it gets very hot and literally acts as a heater. Anyways I am happy with the speed and so far so good.

I really like this PC. I originally had a CyberPower 5600/3060 build but had issues with the motherboard disconnecting USB ports often. After researching and realizing the motherboard for that system was proprietary for their brand even though it was manufactured by Gigabyte, it only made matters worse because I couldn't download but one bios update which didn't fix the issue. Gigabyte wouldn't even help me with it. I'm pretty tech savvy and have a degree in computer science, but it was an issue that couldn't be fixed on the user's end. I decided to return it and go with this build instead. The i7 just works great, and the 3060Ti plays the games I want easily. I just got through playing BF2042 and had no issues with heat or performance. I'll eventually upgrade the HDD to an SSD since I do store a lot of games and documents on it, and the speed of an SSD can't be beat. Overall, I'm really impressed. I like to build my PC's, but the market isn't really setup for that right now so I went with a prebuilt. I'd recommend this to anyone playing 1080p/1440p.

I'll update this review in the future if anything major happens, but so far it is not half bad. The first desktop I got did have an issue though in that it would only get 100kbs, but after returning it to BestBuy and getting a replacement, it has been working fairly well. It is definitely a major upgrade compared to my MSI which had a NVIDIA GTX1060, so it looks better overall. As I said though, it is pretty good right now, but I will update this review in the future, or add a new one if something happens to my desktop such as if it dies, or has a major issue occur. Also, before I forget, if you buy this, watch out when you are updating it and if you do not want it to install windows 11. If you try to update everything available, it might accidentally do an update to Windows 11.

Thought other people reviewing this PC exaggerated about the cooling. Tried doing a few renderings and my CPU spiked to 100C in less than 3 minutes. It performs great but you will probably need a cooling upgrade asap before you damage your cpu. Everything else works fine and performs as expected.
