Customers are saying

Customers admire the TraceMR Gaming Desktop's performance and graphics capabilities, frequently praising its ease of setup and excellent value for the price. However, some users reported issues with the CPU cooler and power supply, while others found the included keyboard needed improvement. The positive feedback on performance and graphics outweighs the negative comments regarding certain components.

The computer was way too expensive for what it is. It however gets the job done for the purposes I need which are gaming with multiple large games to store. It’s so dumb that you need a 3.5mm separator for mic and headphones when Best Buy doesn’t even sell these. The Bluetooth is better than I expected which is a minor plus. Rgbs are a nice addition. Best Buy should get rid of the mouse and keyboard. Like it’s $1800, don’t throw crap on top of it. 5 stars with a 33% price reduction.. however.

Good looking machine supports a wide variety of gaming. My previous machine was several years old and only had a basic graphics card. This machine can play all the new games. Make sure you install the antennae to the wifi receiver or reception and wifi speed are dismal. Once the antennae were attached and the computer was restarted, I got fantastic wifi speeds. I also recommend NOT using the included RGBFusion software. I made the mistake of opening the software and realized that it does not appear to give the option to revert to the rainbow scheme that comes with the computer's factory setting.

Great for GPU but that’s it. I only had it for a month and a half and the power supply and RAM crapped out on me. Of course I couldn’t return it anymore so I took it to a Micro Center and got a new power supply and RAM, $220 later… after spending over $1700 on what should be a lasting PC. You also can’t manually overclock the CPU which is a bummer as well.

I recently purchased the IBUYPOWER TraceMR gaming Desktop with Intel i7 11700f, 16GB Memory, and NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti and I love it thus far. Its a great set up for the price and I have been having lots of fun thus far. I can stream, play games and have discord open with no issues at all. The only problem I ran into was that it said my windows product key had already been used when I first tried to set it up. After calling it was an easy fix though.

Recently purchased a new iBUYPOWER gaming PC and have loved everything about it since the purchase. I was replacing my iBUYPOWER PC from 2015 that wasn't quite doing it anymore. I have an i7 11700K / 3060Ti and it looks amazing. I have been playing BF 2042 and Halo infinite with zero latency/frame issues. Love this PC and would recommend anyone to purchase from them. Also - side note: the older bundles used to have really cheap, plastic M + KB to come with it. This one is the opposite. This M+KB that came with my system is amazing and I am loving it.

The computer runs well so far. Seems the fans are keeping up with the heat. I took off one star because my son can’t play a certain game on it. They said Microsoft needs to find a fix for it. Disappointed that I pay all this money and it can’t play a game that he was into. Doesn’t make sense at all. It might take months to make the patch. Others as well are having issues and found out that it’s Microsoft issue with the motherboard.

    CPU Fan Flawed

Achille's heal of this PC is the CPU heat sink fan, brand name Deep Cool. Unless they get rid of that, I would not buy this again. I had to remove the glass cover to keep it from going over 80 C while gaming, it would crash constantly. I ordered a Noctua NH-D15 replacement for about $100 (you can get cheaper ones), it fixed all issues. The reason for my rating is that I should not have had to do that, PCs should not overheat out of the box. The fan is difficult to replace and the extra cost made this much less of a bargain. Another issue is that you can really only add one extra hard drive to this so if you have old ones just be aware. Otherwise very good performance and style. Appearance and lighting is cool, good solid feel to case, Video very impressive. One pleasant surprise -- the keyboard and mouse that come with it are actually quite good.

Solid PC that needs a few upgrades

Overall this PC is a great way to get a 3060 TI and solid i7 processor. The rest of the parts are definitely of lesser quality, though they have worked fine for me over a few days of testing and playing games. The exception to this is the CPU cooler, which is probably a mandatory upgrade. I tested the CPU cooler that came installed on this machine for about a day. Playing Rocket League and Minecraft at 1440p, 165 fps, the CPU reached peak temperature of almost 80 C. I then installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler (which I purchased alongside the PC). After another day of testing on those games with the same settings, the CPU reached a max temperature of around 60 C. I was also able to play Doom 2016 for around an hour on "ultra" settings (also 1440p, 165 fps) and the CPU stayed cooler than 60 C. Definitely recommend this cooler as it was an easy install and seems to have dramatically helped my CPU. Although I believe it is now blocking access to my 4th RAM slot, so keep that in mind if you were planning to add more RAM. Aside from this, I have no complaints about the computer. It came with everything wired correctly and neatly. The case is nice and the fans are relatively quiet. The hard drives are as advertised. Overall, this was a great way for me to get the GPU and CPU that I wanted, while leaving room to upgrade other parts in the future.

The pc is good other than the cpu cooler which is the reason for the 4 stars. The cpu hit up to 90c under light load which was concerning. I ended up replacing the heatsink with a simple corsair h60. The cpu doesnt peak past 60c under full load. It is worth the money for what you get but i highly suggest replacing the heatsink with something different for longevity.

As much as I love technologies and computers in general, I don't have a ton of knowledge and the gaming aspect of it. I went in and talked to one of the younger reps who said he was a gamer and he recommended this desktop, saying that it had the most current software to run a smooth gaming session. At first, everything seemed to go very well and my son loved it. But then about 4 months in, it suddenly wouldn't play certain games and started giving him error messages. We took it into Best buy using the warranty and the first round which consisted of complete reset didn't work. It actually made it worse. So the second time we went in they ended up shipping it back to the manufacturer and they deemed it basically a loss. We were then told that this was common with this brand. That was a disappointment, however the company honored the warranty without hassle or a bunch of going back and forth so I appreciate that and props to them for acknowledging the issue quickly.

Out of the box set up was easy, no bloatware as well. Runs nice with Ultra settings on Halo Infinite. However, one issue is the very loud fan noise. Going to keep monitoring the temperature as well and possibly look into replacing cooler.

I have just received the pc and is an early review. So far so good. Followed the instructions provided with the package and everything worked fine. It came with windows 10 and was easy to activate (it was not showing as active). The windows upgrade to 11 worked without a hitch using the update option under settings. My son has played a few games and is happy with the response and this looks to be a complete gaming package at a reasonable price.
