was good for 1 month and now this pc randomly shuts off after 10 minutes of gameplay on multiple games, when I first looked at settings no BIOS or Drivers where updated, sent my info to a computer tech and he said it looks like they boxed the pc got your 1600 dollars and shipped it didn't even bother to make sure it was up to specs... horrible design, when contacting geeksquad it will be 1 week for them to even look at it and they want 110 dollars just to "LOOK" and I mean just look at it no fixing nothing, contacted the support they want me to send the SN number so i did and they didn't even bother to email me back.. HORRIBLE PC not sure if its acting up because when I went to pick up the PC the worker grabbed it off the top shelf and literally let it drop on the floor Infront of me and said "oh well my bad it should be fine they pack these good and laughed".. if i knew about these issues i would not purchase please listen to me it seems like a great deal but thats for a reason i have multiple people who i game with and they have all had horrible experiences with IBUYPOWER pre builds. Please do not buy this PC you will be super excited like i was and then find out its JUNK.

I don’t understand how anyone could think that this is a great gaming desktop. It is cheaply built. The specs look good on paper, but in the real world this thing is horrible. They put such cheap dc fans in the case that you can’t even control them. The fans operate at full blast out of the box and absolute no way to adjust them. This may be good for a young kid with headphones on that doesn’t care about the fan noise, but for me total dealbreaker. As I pulled the rest of the computer apart to inspect it, I quickly realized just how cheaply built it was and where they cut corners throughout the entire build. after doing some research, it appears that they’ve been doing this for years. The MSI chipset installer failed during initial install also. Just a horrible experience and I was very disappointed. I’ll never buy another one.

Great gaming pc for the price, except graphics card has some serious flaws. After 4 months of use the graphics card would just lock up and wouldn’t reset unless you hard reboot the pc. Very disappointing and found out many other people with this card are having the same problems.

Price is $100-$300 higher, the fan installed too tight against the case, made noise like breathing, up and down, strong and weak constantly. But you can only hear it if you are in a quiet room without loud music.

Just picked up my order. Can't wait to start gaming . Looks amazing

overall the pc is the best bang for your buck highly reccomend

GPU was shot out of the box. Probably bad luck but I probably won’t ever buy a prebuilt from them again because of my experience. It was super nice and well put together though.

Price for PC is great. I just had some annoying issues where I had to reseat the GPU, RAM, and HYTE GPU adapter for it to display on my monitors

Just bought this computer and was very happy until I started to hear some noise from the cooler when the cpu was running at the highest speed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about just some air blowing noise from the fan which is very normal. I'm talking about some kind of hitting noise. It's either one of the fan is hitting something when it's running very fast or the liquid cooler's water pump is clicking for some reason. I'm just so disappointed because it's a brand new computer and already making that noise like it's 10 years old. Please make sure you test the fan noise before it's too late to return or exchange. You won't notice it until you run a very heavy work on your cpu. To test it out, you can run Cinebench multicore test and wait until it gets hot enough like about 5-10 minutes. Will exchange mine and see if it gets better. Other than that, the computer works great.

Computer is fantastic. Issue is the Intel 14th Gen CPU. Intel has a LOT of issues with that Generation of CPUs

Runs absolutely amazing! But would not buy again, as I had to replace 2 fans less than a month after purchase. Plus this has to be the noisiest pc ever. This pc will give you a splitting headache if used in a quiet room. Plan on replacing all fans and possibly it may be an alright pc.

Thought i'd had a good find with this one. This brand spanking new PC had a... wait for it... ***Windows 8 key*** burned onto the motherboard. In 2024. So it won't activate. iBuyPower has no support on weekends. Apparently this is a widespread problem with them based on what I saw buried on Reddit and other sources. After three wasted hours troubleshooting, its going back to Best Buy. Never again.

Absolute garbage to say the least. Not very reliable whatsoever and it is a shame as this thing was suposed to replace a windows 10 PC which now I intend to keep even though Microshoft wants to end its life. Attempted to added memory, and a sound card. Tired of throwing money to it. Would not send this to garbage as I think garbage is better.

Power supply couldn’t support all the stuff in the pc

I am so fed up. First I bought the Y40 with the RTX 4070. That one did not come with the 2 terabyte ssd like stated and windows 11 would not activate. I returned it and the replacement never came. So I went and purchased this one just hours ago. At least this one windows 11 was activated. I really don’t want to have to return another pc. I believe I will be going with a different brand.

PC came with less storage than advertised, geek squad customer service is egregious. Came to BestBuy to avoid a delivery time, but I feel like I bought a PC off of Temu.

Came with no windows license, wasted 4 hours of my employee's time. A lot of money wasted. Called Best buy spoort and they wont talk to the guy to whom it was shipped but only to the card holder which is OUR company CEO. All for asking why this desktop came without licensed windows!! We jut paid 400$ out of pocket for new retail license. Was not worth talking to Best buy support when time is of essence. Just Beware while buying from Best Buy or iBuypower. Better off going to Dell.com or Lenovo

Received this computer and I was having problems loading up the PC. Called to have it switched out and they said ok. When they received the one back they cancelled the exchange one and refunded the money. I called to get another one and they said they couldn’t send me another one.
