Precaution when working on computers

I have carpet and I know that it can possibly cause a static discharge even though I may not even feel it.

I'm learning electronics and didn't want to compound any damage to the board by introducing stray currents. So far I think it works quite well.

Overall it's not bad and it gets the job done. Avoid overstretching, since the band can tend to wear out faster if you have particularly sweaty wrists.

Functional but limited

The cord could be a little longer to afford the wearer better reach. Also, the alligator clip could have a little stronger grip. If you attempt to stretch beyond the confines of the cord length, the clip will pull away from what it's attached to more easily than it should.
