Customers are satisfied with the Antistatic Wrist Strap's ease of use, quality, and effectiveness in providing static protection. Many appreciate its ability to prevent electrostatic discharge damage to electronic components, and find it fits comfortably. However, some customers wish the cord were longer and have expressed concerns about the sturdiness of the clip. Overall, the positive feedback on its primary function outweighs the minor criticisms.

Im always worried about shocking my computer when im working on it. This helps me worry less lol. I rubbed a ballooj on myself anf touched something metal and of course their was a shock. I then tried it again with the writst band and touched the metal bar while the clip was connected to it and i didnt get shocked. Im glad to know it works and won't have to worry about shocking my tech.

This is an essential item for those who need to work with the insides of sensitive electronics, like computers. It works well, and fits my relatively large wrist at its maximum diameter. It works well, and I recommend it.

This product is something that I do not consider to be very important, as most computer parts or similar components now have very good grounding technology. If you are working on older technology or something that would not have this technology though, it is very nice. Either way, for peace of mind, this is a very cheap product that's worth it and it has the typical quality of iFixit products(good).

Even though I'm pretty sure I didn't NEED this, it was nice to know that I wouldn't have fried my computer had I not used it.
Never had any issues with static nuking my system when I lived in colorado (very dry) but I moved to washington and i've managed to zap my computer and trip the surge protector multiple times, this definitely helped me at least feel safer in terms of upgrading parts.

iFixit good. If you have iFixit, you are good. If not, well I don't know what else to tell you guy. This thing straps on your wrist, and you can go swinging off the power lines like Tarzan in the big city. Cats will be bowing at your feet, dogs will start throwing a frisbee to you, and you can stand there posing in hero wind.

I know you don't strictly speaking *need* an antistatic wristband when building a PC but it gives me peace of mind. It also absolutely works, seeing as the first person who touched me while I was wearing it shocked me
