I'm using this as a travel repair kit. I'm away from home and my laptops RAM died. I used this kit to open and replace the RAM. I like that the cap is magnetic and that it has several different little areas where I can place different sized screws and they won't mingle. Everything looks to be good quality as well. I don't feel like it's going to break in my luggage. I did however keep the paper to make sure it doesn't open in my bag if it gets too jostled around.

Quality and reliability are the only two words to describe iFixit's tools. Their customer support is excellent as well If anything fails just take a picture send it to them and they'll have you a replacement in no time. Just make sure to apply a very light oil to the bits every few months if you live in a humid area.

My mom's nearly seven year old laptop did not qualify for an upgrade to Microsoft Windows 11. Since she does not use her laptop too often, I did not want to purchase a new laptop for her. With that being said, her laptop ended up being the first computer in our family to have Linux Mine installed as a daily driver. The WD Blue SA510 SATA SSD 1TB ended up being an inexpensive purchase, and installation was very simplistic with the iFixit Essential Electronics Toolkit that I purchased the same day. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Nice Kit to have available. Has everything you'll reasonably need to open a sealed computer. Caution, before you invest in a kit to help you upgrade a laptop, make sure that your device does NOT have soldered-in-place, non-upgradeable memory.

An excellent set of tools for unscrewing a variety of screws including tiny Torx. Each tool is so comfortable in the hand and they work together so well for taking things apart and then putting them together again.

The best in the market for sure, and would still stick with this line, but the tweezers weren’t the greatest at all. Everything else was on point. Love the hard cover case it comes with. Great price, great quality.

I bought tool kit for my PC when I had change my thermal paste and had to remove my cooler but honestly I use these kit for everything. I use to help my controllers by taking them apart or just getting in the small cracks of the controller. Also I used it to install my SSD on my pc and my ps5. For the price of this kit, it’s well worth it and a great investment for your hardware.

This toolkit is incredibly handy and very high quality. Very nice case, everything fits in perfectly and wish more products offered the same value. Built to last.

This is the perfect size for me to travel with and repair whatever I need. There's no fluff, only the tools that I know I will use for a reasonable price. The only thing that might be worth mentioning is that the driver is plastic in this kit, not metal like the Pro Tech toolkit; so it might feel a little cheap at first. But the upside is that you can pop the top off and store bits inside for an even smaller package.

Neat product for opening up electronics. I used it to replace the ram and ssd on my laptop. It also works on smaller screws for stuff like furniture.

Very nice little toolkit. Bought it to help me transfer all my stuff to a new case, I don’t think I needed anything outside of this kit to do the job. Small but useful.

I use that product to assemble and disassemble it works super well if you are a person who likes to do your things on your own
